Before coming to Tarzana Hearing Center I had gone to other hearing aid stores but was not satisfied with the service/results. I resisted hearing aids for many years but Arian was patient and understanding, and showed me how much my life experience would be enhanced with better hearing. I have difficult-to-fit ear canals (narrow and twisted) so getting ear buds to fit into my ears was a challenge, but Arian was able to fit my ears perfectly. I still have difficulty inserting the aids in my ear canals but it is getting easier. I would totally urge anyone with any kind of hearing issue to visit Arian at Tarzana Hearing Center and be patient - hearing aids will take some getting used to but it will definitely be worth it! Thank you, Tarzana Hearing Center. Wow - who'd ever think you go in for a hearing check up and leave with new family. Arian and Sean made my mom's hearing aid test, purchase and fitting as easy as it could be -- and I don't think "hearing aid for mom" and "easy" ever go together! Mom is a great musician with a very discerning ear. We could not have done it without someone who knows their stuff or be delicate about it. They walked us through the whole ordeal professionally and KINDLY, making us feel immediately at home. They took great care in every adjustment and concern....and threw in few good stories from Arian to take the sting out of the process. What a little clarity can do for a relationship! I recently needed to purchase hearing aids and went to the Tarzana Hearing Center for an exam and fitting. The service I received from Arian was so excellent that five stars doesn't seem enough. He is very profession, kind, and thorough, taking the time to explain every step of the process and patiently answering every question I had as a first time hearing aid user. This kind of caring customer service is so rare to find nowadays. He and his father, Shawn, who owns the business, both make you feel more like friends and family, rather than just another customer. They don't make commissions and don't get paid extra for taking the time to do things right--you really get the feeling that their work comes from the heart. I first came in as a recommendation, and my husband came with me to join. I was impressed that Arian spent time with us teaching us about the inner ear that causes my hearing loss. He tested me with tests that I didn't get with the hearing doctor I went to before. He tested my husband as well, and made a canal for a hearing aid inside his ears. I have had a great experience with this Hearing Center. I took my Aunt for hearing aids and testing after going to two other very disappointing places. Arian was so knowledgeable and patient with my Aunt explaining every detail about her hearing loss and which hearing would be most beneficial for her loss. Not happy. Before I schedule the appointment I'll let them know that I have really small ear canals and it's been hard for me to find a hearing aid. So I get there and the gentleman says wow you have really small ear canals .I was told that he would get smaller domes Which never happened after many phone calls so I returned them. Then to top it off I get a voicemail from the financing company telling me they don't show them as returned. Really annoying. I sent a copy of the return form to the creditor. I'm not sure that the gentleman that help me was a Licensed audiologist. read more

Suffering hearing loss not only has an impact on those suffering the loss but the others in your circle, family and friends as well as coworkers and even strangers you may interact with are affected. You lose out but not being able to Interact they lose out by not being to gather your input, wisdom and advice. Ask anyone suffering from hearing loss, it is physically as well as emotionally difficult. To be truthful and fair. If you are seeking a budget fix for your hearing loss, This is not your best option, in my opinion. If customer service, patience, and a true old world family family business is important then please see Shawn and Aiden (dad and son). Having them help my mom and treat her like family is paramount to me. Please believe me when I write having hearing aids aren't expensive, they are priceless. Naturally, you may go to target or Costco I received treatment that you would expect out of target or Costco. My mom has been a quiet at Tarzana hearing aid about 20 years.
