Enrolling in the concierge membership has been a game changer with all of the initial tests performed in an environment where Dr. Sanguedolce cares deeply about our long-term health. The various services offered in the practice is beyond what I had hoped for when I began researching a new doctor. It's basically "one stop shopping" including a skin cancer check by Lilly that was more thorough than the dermatologist I was seeing. Dr Ritter is not your typical urgent care doctor - he is so informative, so caring and goes out of his way to put you at ease. They also take anthem bcbs here which is helpful. I stopped seeing her after she…read morediagnosed me with a mold problem where I was living (at the time I was living and caring for my 91 year old mother and my developmentally disabled sister). She told me I needed to leave my home because of the mold. Money was an issue with me at the time, obviously, and I was in absolute tears. Her only response was to quickly try to schedule AND CHARGE $$$$$ me for another appointment to discuss how we would deal the mold issue. No compassion at all for the situation I was in. About a month later, she sent out a letter to her patients saying she was "retiring". An ethical doctor would probably stop taking new patients if they were getting ready to retire. Why would you take on new patients if you knew you would not see them through the process of getting better? Then a couple months later she sent another email to her patients saying she wasn't going to retire, but was joining another practice. Something is just not right here. I am now seeing a functional medicine doctor in Montana that is wonderful and not money driven. A PIECE OF ADVICE FOR EVERYONE, YOU DON'T NEED TO SEE A FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE DOCTOR BASED IN OC. YOU CAN SEE MOST FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE DOCTORS VIRTUALLY AND I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND FINDING A DOCTOR OUTSIDE OF OC. The worst part is I just received a lab bill for $2500 that I never authorized almost one year after I stopped seeing her. I called her to try and help me rectify the bill and her new receptionist told me it was my problem. JUST TO CLARIFY READING HER RESPONSE. THESE ARE THE TESTS SHE RECOMMENDED AND ORDERED. NO TEST SHOULD HAVE BEEN OVER $500. SHE SENT ME TO THESE LABS. BE VERY CAREFUL OF HER "3RD PARTY CHARGES". I can understand how frustrating it is when labs send surprise charges, which is why I always recommend that patients try to find out from Quest and all other labs up front what all their charges will be. I never want anyone to experience the stress of unexpected charges. The $2500 bill was not from our office; it was from a lab where this patient chose to get testing done. The payments are handled by the lab and not by my office, so I'm sorry that I'm not able to help with 3rd party charges.

She put me on a binder to detox which was way too intense for me during that time. I could not handle the binder and had to stop taking it. I had to stop the treatment and she was not able to offer anything else. This was a waste of my time and money and was pointless. I know a lot about holistic health and natural medicine and looking back at that time in my life and healing process, that was WAY too soon to be put on a binder especially without even seeing me in person as we did a phone visit. She was happy to take my money for the appointment but it was a waste. Do not recommend. In fact, I recommend a much more gentle approach.

Every time I came up I would bring fresh produce for the entire staff One day I was on the restroom got a call answered it left the restroom and walked out side and finished the call I did not even say a word until I was out side A RN I had never met and I was there a lot try to shame me when I waked back in the office You can't be on your phone in the lobby o said I wasn't I went out side you followed me out side so you must know that . When I was called back to get my vitals and do lab work the RN followed me and the MA around trying to provoke me I did not take the bait I told my doctor what happened he said she was not a nice person and to be careful with her I said ok On my next visit she comes into the lab she was trying to provoke me again two medical assistants were shaking I looked at her and asked why she felt the need to stalk me She leaves the lab and tells Dr Bent I was causing problems when I did noting of the kind. I went to this clinic for years I work in health care I was a navy corpsman I was a medical equipment rep I called on doctors offices I assure you I know how to act in a lobby This RN was a total cun! I lost my doctor with no debate Dr Bent would not meet with me it was just done The RN was pure evil she really was. I would not recommend coming to this clinic. For any reason if they are applying for grants refuse them There is no excuse for a RN to treat patients like she did . If she still works there I have not forgotten what you did I hope your karma catches up to you. Dr. Atwal listened carefully to my symptoms and asked a lot of questions and I appreciated the time she took to help me. Unlike some doctors, I never felt rushed. The women in her front office run a tight operation and are in good control of scheduling. I'm not one to easily make a referral, but I would strongly recommend Dr. Atwal to anyone in need of (in my opinion) the best cardiologist.
