The people who run this organization are incredibly charitable and put so much effort into these dogs and cats. I recently visited and they had three dogs available. They were happily running around inside their enclosures outside under the shade of the tree. There were lots of other dog runs/kennels that looks much smaller, but also like they were no longer in use. There were not a lot of animals to choose from-but maybe that's because they all found homes or were in foster homes when we visited. Hopefully that's the case-and they are getting closer to their goal of No More Homeless Pets!

The commitments are not long and she is able to take the animals back as promised and on time. I recently was in there, and there was a woman trying to adopt a dog. It was obvious the woman did not have a home. The owner was not going to allow the woman to adopt the dog because she did not have a safe place for the dog to live. Although the woman was very upset, the owner was very professional and kind as she explained that she could not in good conscience adopt a pet out that didn't have a safe environment. percent she is concerned about the welfare of the animals. I will always refer people to them whether they're in the market to adopt an animal or if they're interested in fostering or volunteering there it's a great place with low overhead and a lot lot of love.!

Recommendations for Dave with Innovative K9 as a trainer kept coming across our search and we decided to invest in the Puppy to Adult Dream Dog Course. To this day, the money spent was absolutely worth it. We learned how to continue training at home, and have always received support with any questions or concerns. We are so happy with the results, we drive an hour each way to board our dog with Innovative K9 when we have trips out of town. Now they offer pick up and drop off which makes it even more convenient! We unfortunately haven't had an opportunity to participate in the group lessons on Saturdays at the park. Adopt or rescue a dog and invest in Innovative K9's board and train program- you will learn modern behavioral training and have a dog that makes you proud. We cannot recommend Innovative K9 enough!

I am the MOST picky pet owner when it comes to vets and those who interact with my dog - and I can go to work - even in the middle of the night on a trauma call - and know I'm leaving my dog in the best hands, so I have no worries. I work crazy hours at the hospital and Hound Hearts has THE BEST daycare hours - 24 hours / 7 days a week. My girl started daycare two weeks after I adopted her; a one year old high energy herding breed. Every time I picked her up, her tail was wagging and her tongue was hanging out - she even skipped dinner sometimes because she was so tired. She would wake me up before my alarm clock because she was ready to go to daycare! I like the personal touch Sandy and Morgan give vs those bigger businesses with more dogs. I can't even explain how much my dog loves Sandy's homemade doggie cookies that she sells at the farmers markets / dog events (I'm sure taste testing for the masses makes for a hard day at daycare for my dog!). If we had brought our other dog who doesn't do as well with other dogs (especially un-leashed), we wouldn't have been able to make it past the lobby to even get serviced. We specifically stated no shave / buzz. Just a cut for overgrown hair and to be able to deal with the hotter temperatures coming in the summer. The cut is un-even, and if we even had requested a shave, this low of a cut for this type of fur is not healthy for them at all. She's a medium long haired mix. They do not need a shave this low, ever. Though friendly, the person who took our dog in did not listen at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone. EDIT: Also just found out the owners now of this business is not the original. They've taken over the original owner as the owner passed away. They will take the positive reviews while blame the other company mentioned in another review, who actually is the successor of this business. Don't bring your pups here.
