I had my annual hearing checkin in December of 24 and was told I would need new hearing aids. No problem, at least that is what one would think. I get calls in January telling me need to be tested now that insurance had approved the hearing aids. Testing had already been done. I took a month to find out what they meant was I needed to come in to review my choices on hearing aids and measure my ear. This had already been done during my testing in December when I was told I need new ones. They had provided the hearing aids I was using and had all the measurements. They couldn't schedule till mid March to pick the ones I had already picked and take a measurement of my ear. This took all of 5 minutes. Signed the paperwork and told it would be about a month to receive them. I contacted my insurance company to change providers for future appointments reviewed the reasons why with them. They agreed to do so. A couple of weeks later I get a call from an office manager in Glendora (Jackie) upset and argumentative that I had filed a grievance. Confirmed I was still going to pick up the hearing aids when they came which I did. I call in April to find the status and am told I would have to contact the insurance company. They could not tell me more. I called my insurance company today, they got the doctors office on the phone and confirmed the office had canceled the order because of the grievance. The also claimed they were refusing future care because of the grievance, which was something I had already asked for. My insurance company approved starting the entire process again with another doctor 10 minutes from my home instead of 45. So if you have a problem and have any medical devices you have been approved for, wait till you get them before you take any other actions. They will not let you know what they have done when they take a retaliatory action against you.

My mom has been to one dr who was incompetent in removing the wax and so we are seeing a specialist to have them do it then back to Pacific Hearing for the Dr to set her other hearing aid. It's been a back and forth process but he is very reliable and nice and very professional. He knows what he is doing 100%!!

I called to cancel the appointment but instead Karina said I could come in so she could check my ears with a camera. She was very helpful and nice and took great care of my ears. Once I received my hearing aids, there was very minimal instruction as to use and maintainance at the time of acceptance. My right hearing aid has been problematic at least 3 times in the first year. This resulted in only office staff adjustments per their experts. Just over 1 year of use my right hearing aid quit working or charging. I brought both hearing aids and charger to be checked out. No log in of equipment or signage of release. 1- 1/2 weeks later I phoned for an update. Very rudely the receptionist, Charlene, informed me "I told you I will get back to you when it is ready!" I also asked to speak with her supervisor. Charlene said "Lilly" is rarely in the office and was very busy with meetings. I requested she have "Lilly" call me. After 3 weeks I am still waiting. They offer "loaner" hearing aids with a charger when available. They thought the left hearing aid and charger that they gave me were mine--but they were not even the same color! The loaners did not work so I returned them the next day. No log or signage upon return either. 4-5 days later I showed up to office very frustrated. A MIRACLE--they had my right hearing aid! No left one and offered me a NEW charger since they couldn't locate mine. At 3 weeks+ I am still waiting for them to locate and return my left hearing aid!! I am also still waiting for "Lilly" to find 5 minutes in her extremely busy schedule to call me back! For the high cost expended for these hearing aids, one would expect better quality and service from this office.

I was told that they could not help us. They said the warranty had run out a few months ago, and my husband was not eligible for new aids for another year and a half. This in fact was not true as the insurance would have covered the repair, I am certain they should know this, but simply did not want to help. A hearing test would have allowed them to at least adjust the aids to the correct setting. So I also asked for a hearing test, and was told we would have to wait several months for an appointment, with no apology. However, I want to thank them for this terrible disgracefully service because it allowed us to find a wonderful provider, Clear Hearing in San Bernardino, who was able to get us in within a week, ran a hearing test and got brand new hearing aids authorized within two days.

In 2020, things got much worse, so my PCP referred me to ENT & SINUS CENTER in Rancho Cucamonga. My experience with the practice, from the front desk staff to the telephone service, left much to be desired. However, my doctor, Henry H. Nguyen, M.D., was unbelievably amazing, so I continued my care with him. Fast-forward to 2022: I could not contact anyone in the office; my messages went unanswered, and I went out of my way to stop by for answers. So, I decided not to return. While I continued to follow all of Dr. Nguyen's recommendations for my sinus care, it wasn't enough. I debated going elsewhere, but the thought of care from another physician who had neither a passion for his chosen field nor heartfelt care for his patients simply didn't do it for me. In 2024, I got another referral to a different place, and just as I was going to enter a new office, I decided to call the ENT & SINUS CENTER one last time. Calling again was the best decision I have ever made regarding my healthcare. Thank you for bearing with me and allowing me to share the background. The office has a brand-new team of staff, and the experience is completely different. No more unanswered calls or negative attitudes from anyone. The receptionist was polite and happy when she answered the phone. Emily P.A., Marissa M.A., and Nidhi M.A. went above and beyond what I expected. I continued my care with Dr. Nguyen and Deborshi Roy M.D., and had a Balloon Sinus Dilation back in November of 2024. Both doctors are truly amazing and kind. I am not one to write reviews, and it's been a while since my procedure; however, I think it is of utmost importance to let others know when one finds the right care. I highly recommend this office. You will not be disappointed. Everyone listened and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Nguyen ordered all the tests needed to provide an accurate diagnosis. Waited for PA several minutes. She was nice, seems caring and answered my questions. She was super helpful in referring me to VNG/Vestibular testing for swaying dizziness. However, the delivery and flow of the appointment felt scripted and eventually led to the recommendation of two outpatient surgeries. Post my appointment, I read the reviews and now realize it's the same procedures pitched to the majority of reviewers. Let's just say that I feel uneasy with patterns. The appointment ends with a procedure coordinator, who is ready to schedule your surgery, which I did not schedule. In the end, it felt more like a sales pitch. My assessment could be wrong but I will look elsewhere for continued care. My perception is that the PA and staff are merely working under this care model and are doing their best within that sales focused framework.
