Thank you to the caring and thorough technician, Daniel! I took my mom in twice now, and he…read moreadjusted her hearing aid better than it has ever been in years. My family had given up hope on having her hear us well, but I wasn't done... I wanted her to try a different Costco from the one she was used to, and I am so glad I did. Daniel was kind, patient, and continued to address each of my mom's issues with her hearing. One by one, he methodically adjusted various features of the hearing aid until he got it as best as he could. It will never be perfect, but the fact that he made it even slightly better was practically a miracle. He definitely went above and beyond to help us.

After my experience I feel I want to share some positive feedback. I will start by saying that I am…read morean Engineer and I think I know a thing or two about audio transmission, acoustic filters, etc. My dad has been very skeptical about hearing aids based on some bad experiences shared by some of his friends . He has had moderate to severe hearing loss for years making it sometimes challenging to communicate with him effectively especially unders certain situations. It was pretty obvious he was suffering from it (lack of engagement on conversations, etc..). He came to visit and I finally convinced him to get a Costco Membership and give it a try since you have 6 months return policy (that convinced him to try it). First visit was an audiometry. I did a lot of researched and was hopping he would get the Jabra enhanced pro (I know Jabra and GN pretty good). After the audiometry the tech placed some demo Jabra enhanced pro aids (I was happy with the choice) and loaded the profile for him to check how the experience was. We did some testing , walked around Costco, etc.. After the session he ordered them. The second appointment was a week later to get his new aids. The technician load the calibration for him based on the first session, did some more fine fitting/tuning and he explained the app, things to care for and some recommendations. He left Costco with his new hearing aids. He was on a time crunch and we scheduled a third visit 10 days later. The third visit was a follow-up to exchange feedback. He was happy with the improvement but he could hear his own voice a bit too much and was somehow bothering him. The tech was very knowledgeable and was able to change the domes for different ones and that made a huge improvement. He run some tests again, made sure was no feedback and increase gain a bit. My dad seemed happy with the changes/improvement. All in all we felt they that Danial, our technician really cared, he was very knowledgeable. You can't really beat the 6 month return policy, the 3 year warranty plus 2 year 1 time replacement for incidentals. Now I can have a normal conversation with my dad, he can hear the TV at a regular volume and he can understand his grand daughters a lot more. I feel he is more involved also. Huge thanks to Daniel, our audiologist for being so detail oriented and for his help. I am pretty sure that success or failure is also dependent on the audiologist/tech and I can't speak to all of them but our experience was very positive.

Since hearing loss is a contributing factor in dementia, I was very much hoping to get her hearing tested and find out ASAP if her hearing was an issue. I was called back by Crystal who took some information and then asked for insurance. They did not accept my girlfriend's insurance and gave me another facility to call. I told her that I still wanted to get my girlfriend's hearing checked and was brushed off by Crystal saying it's not your best use of time to come in. I told her I would still like to come in, but she kept pushing back and become quite indignant telling me it's not the best use of your time and I needed to call the other facility repeatedly. The truth was, it was not in Crystal's best interest. If you offer free hearing tests, you should honor it regardless. I was very insulted by her lack of courtesy and honesty. I usually do not write reviews unless a line has been crossed. In this case, I felt that the claim of a free hearing test was not forthright. It should be free hearing tests only if we take your insurance! If Crystal was honest and stated this fact rather than out right refusing to accommodate us and making it seem like she was doing me a favor, I would not be writing this review. This was horrible customer service!
