But it is not all about ambience. The food is good too. I am a local and meet here every Saturday morning with my cronies. Lately I have been on a low-carb diet and have ordered and omelette for breakfast. They are as good as you can get anywhere. And they allow me to substitute fresh fruit for the hashbrowns. I have had some nice, large salads for lunch as well. If you are passing through Cloquet on highway 33, head east on Cloquet Avenue to 13th St. I think you will find the detour in space and time worth your while.

The lady that was working was super nice and helpful, I had a hot cup of decaf which she left room for cream and sugar! So that means she listened! We all had breakfast sandwiches and they were very tasty and made well! Service was good and fast and the place is VERY clean. My only complaint is in the back where the kid area is there are some steps leading down and no way to block it off so a toddler may well tumble down and that would be bad. But that being said as a parent you should be watching your kids! All in all we will be back!

We were very pleased with everything - food service and ambiance. First Bearaboo is independently owned - it's not Starbucks - which is refreshing in many ways. The decor is homey. You order at the front, seat yourself and they bring your order to the table. Everyone on the staff seems happy and cheerful and you feel that your business is appreciated. The staff in many corporate establishments such as Starbucks etc appear to not care whether you are there or not. Food was good and I recommend the chicken salad sandwich on cranberry bread.
