My experience at Heaven Nails was God awful and utterly horrible. They are open on Sundays at 10am and I needed a fill badly, so I got there at 10:20am and I had to wait 40 minutes to get my nails filled. When I finally sat down, they told me I can't get my nails done because they are lifting. Isn't that what happens when you have 3 weeks of retention? So they took my old nails off and gave me a new full set. That itself took an hour. 2 hours of my Sunday morning wasted. I do not recommend this place and will not be returning. read more

The quality of their nails has just gone down hill completely. I went and treated myself for valentine's day with a full set. Horrible experience! Paul was my technician, the pedicure was fair, the powder dip was horrible I cannot believe how quickly they were done and there a bumps etc all over them. I asked for a french manicure with pink! I intially had a different pink but then decided to add a french. He was so rude and said "you need to pick color" from the pedicure chair I had to get all of my things coat, shoes etc, as he walked away! I will never ever return there, I was not feeling great and this nail salon is near me and I needed my nails done! He should be ashamed of himself! read more

Was just there for a dip manicure. I am not sure what the name of the man who did my nails but it is horrible it looks like I was playing in paint. I had an appointment at 5pm and got there a few minutes before by 5:25 I was done. The man went way too fast and there is dip polish all over my fingers. He couldn't take the time to clean them up. And he was hurting my nails when he was using the nail drill and made me bleed. The massage was lame. I have always had great customer service and nail techs who go above and beyond but he just seemed so lazy. Don't know if I will go back :( read more

My friend and I always liked to try different places and she told me about this spa. We were like let us go try and .... O-M-G. So far we love it because people here are very friendly and were so willing to communicate with us with great attitude. They have a lot of choices you want to choose. I love it!! They were willing to adjust to my preference. They do accept credit cards, but this time they can't accept credit cards due to high wind. The only good thing about this place is the color options. The technicians are sloppy and don't care about their work, they overbook themselves so there's a line of people waiting well over the standard few minutes of wait time, and they cut you left and right!! This was my second visit a year apart from the first. Last year, I had my full set of acrylic for wedding nails. They made it very easy by using sample books so I didn't encounter a language barrier that interfered with getting what I wanted. The nails turned out GORGEOUS! They lasted well beyond a month. My second experience, husband and I went in for pedicures for part of our anniversary celebration. Very relaxing. Chair massage was a nice bonus. Everyone was polite and very clean both visits. this place in nice and clean but that is it. Your services depend on who get and the mood they are in. The owner doesn't listen when you say you do not want a guy, i think because he is a man however only one of the men there is any good. I had Mason 3 different times and every time he gave me a terrible pedicure and treated me like I was unwelcome, he is so unfriendly and so mean looking. Some of the girls do not know what they are doing and rush through the process, a heaven pedicure is done within 25 minutes. Had a powder dip manicure, no gel top coat, ask the girl to do it she said no and 2 nails chipped in 3 days. when you get a gel, they dry cut your cuticles and file off old gel, they do not soak off as recommended for the health of your nails. they are more worried about getting you out and the next one in. It's always nice to find an amazing salon close to home. I have been going to Heavens nails for a little now and absolutely love it. They are amazing! The salon is very clean and super cute. I usually get UV gel set with gel polish and my nails last me for about 3 weeks!! I work with my hands a lot and I am so happy they don't get ruined or break off. I'm not one to normally write up bad reviews on small businesses that we love to support. And we can totally understand mistakes can happen, it's the manner of how those mistakes are fixed. Sorry for the long read.... My daughter went in to Heaven Nails and Spa in gates on Buffalo Road, to get her nails done with her friends on Sunday 5/7/23. She's always had great experiences and great nails that have always lasted well over a month. They are pricey but it was always worth it for her. She's also raved and recommended numerous people to go there as well, and they have always had the same great experience. However...On the 7th there was a guy who did her nails, not only was he very rough, constantly taking phone breaks, as well as vaping right in front of my 16 year old daughter WHILE doing her nails. As a mom I was floored and disgusted when she told me this. I didn't call or go in and complain (I wasn't with her while she was getting her nails done.) She got a French tip set which is always more expensive, $80. Within a week the acrylic on one of her nails was not attached to the nail tip underneath, already had chips and within two weeks she had a total of 6 nails missing, the rest are chipped and cracked. She's missing chunks. We spoke with someone on the phone to see what we could do to fix them, And the guy was very nice on the phone, told us that the guy who did her nails didn't work there anymore and told us to come in on 5/22/23 and they would replace the nails. I specifically asked if I should make an appt while on the phone, he said not a problem just come in. Drive all the way there on 5/22 and the guy who we talked was not as nice as he was on the phone. Very rude, serious attitude. Said to busy couldn't do it, wait is to long. Couldn't even give an approximate time. So I asked to make an appointment, he said no they were too busy. Asked for a refund, he told me no because he already paid the guy. After me just standing there in shock for a couple minutes, and I believe I was being very respectful under the circumstances, a lady finally came and made an appointment for following day. Soooooo we go back. My daughter just wanted a color, a solid color (mind you an easier job and cheaper then what she originally did to begin with) the lady, very rude, said NO, I'm doing same, show me picture. My poor daughter, even said well can I pay to have just a color done then? Lady goes "I told you no, I'm doing the same, show me picture" (with her voice raised) so momma bear gets up and goes over, asked what the issue was and lady said I'm replacing what she had done. My reply was simple, she offered to pay you extra, she wants a solid color, instead of the design she had that was horrible to begin with. Nope, wouldn't do it. So again I asked for a refund, no I'm doing the nails, I said with a solid color? She said no. I said refund us then, so thankfully she gave us $80, and told us not to come back. No problem, plus you probably lost lots of other costumers cause now I'm spreading the word. Never have I seen such poor customer service. (Unfortunately I didn't think of taking pictures of the 2 weeks with the nails, but they were BAD! Pictures posted a nails just a few days old) We are now at another place and this new lady, shocked, asked "what on earth did they do to you, you poor thing, that's so bad!" read more

Awful experience! The salon is clean for sure but it stops there for me. The owner was the one doing the service on my nails and I was trying to make small talk. I asked if they also clean up cuticles because mine were looking rough. He looked at me and then looked back down. At first I thought I maybe he didn't hear me but then he started passive aggressively doing my nails. I asked if I had said or done something. He insinuated I was trying to get my service for free because I asked if they clean up cuticles. Not only insinuated but got really upset with me saying all the customers these days. After a tragic nail visit to Art Nails in Gates, I found myself at Heaven Nails & Spa in an attempt to fix/ save my nails. I met with Paul who saved my natural nails by skillfully reshaping, and correctly applying SNS dip polish. He took his time and checked in after each step to make sure I was satisfied with his work. My manicure is beautiful and I have Paul and Heaven Nails to thank. The salon is beautiful, spacious, and clean. Prices are below the average Rochester nail salon costs. Be aware that the Basic pedicure does not include removing dead skin so I had to go home and do it myself as well as repaint my toenails because she never painted all of my small toe(only a dot). Charge $5 to remove gel polish that took five seconds and barely massaged too. So either Pay for the more expensive service or just polish change or try some other place. I won't go back. read more

I sat down at 4:03 for a pedicure and was done by 4:16....ridiculous for a pedicure! He soaked my feet for less than 1 minute and then barely filed and trimmed them. I had to ask him to trim my toe nails more. He then painted all 4 coats of polish in seconds. Does NOT recommend. Came in at 4pm only to be asked to return at 6pm. Returned at 5:50pm and waited until 6:35pm when the owner finally came up to me and told me that the people before me took too long and she couldn't take care of me tonight. Extremely frustrating to have waited all that time and still not be seen. Even with appointments, they have terrible time management and there is always a long wait beyond your appointment time-which they do not communicate to you when you arrive. The owner could've given me a coupon for wasting so much of my time and leaving without anything done to my nails, could've offered to still do them and stay later OR told me when I walked in at 5:50pm that she wouldn't be able to take care of me and I could've had time to go elsewhere this evening. I originally switched due to the cleanliness and the wide selection of colors they have but I will be returning to my old salon and dealing with boring colors because they actually respect their appointment book and won't take walk-ins when they know they have appointments due to walk in. read more

service was not good. the staff took advange of my daughte, simply due to her age. my 14 y.o called ahead herself and made an appointment for 10:30. she called me at 11:15 and said that she had not been serviced. when my husband went in to pick her up the staff was rude. they also caused my other daughter to bleed from her fingers and was not happy with her nails. SEVERLY overpriced. i went to another place and it was $25 cheaper for the same quality. we will not be returning. read more
