We contacted Sogand about training our 3 year old American bully archer and are super impressed with all the progress she made with him in 3 weeks. We are expecting our first child so we really wanted him to be better about jumping on people, walking without pulling and some socialization with other dogs. He is so much better about not pulling on his leash, and his jumping has significantly improved. We absolutely recommend her and will be using her in the future for follow ups with him as needed!

I don't even know where to start, Sogand is truly amazing in every way. From the moment my dog Ace met her, she started showing us how to train him using treats and other techniques. He used to bark, growl, and lunge at people and dogs, but with her, he calmed down right away. That's why we picked her on the spot, she just had a special connection with him. Sogand went above and beyond for us. She even kept Ace an extra week to help him with dog socialization, which shows how dedicated she is, and later kept him another extra day after my brother's surgery. Throughout his training, she constantly sent us updates with pictures and videos that completely eased our worries. It was my first time leaving him for that long, but seeing him happy and relaxed with her made me feel at peace. Before training with Sogand, walks were super stressful. Ace would pull, bark, lunge, chase everything, and react to other dogs and people. But now, he walks calmly by my side. He's a completely different dog--he listens to commands like sit and lay down and can even stay off-leash. She even taught him how to heel and walk exactly next to her without leaving her side. I was also shocked when Sogand sent me a video of him surrounded by six dogs, calmly letting them sniff him while paying attention to her and still listening to commands. Sogand is not only incredibly smart and patient, but she also truly cares. If you're having any doubts about working with her, don't just do it!!! She changed our lives, and your dog will be in the best hands possible. Sogand is a miracle worker, so there's no doubt she'll help your dog with any issues they have. She's worth it a million times over, and your dog will truly be in the safest, most caring hands.

I can't say enough great things about Sogand! My staffy dog, Lucy, has always been extremely reactive, making walks and everyday life stressful. After completing a three-week board and train program, the difference is night and day! Sogand was patient, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to Lucy's progress. She kept Lucy on for an additional week and have had great progress in our follow up trainings. She took the time to understand her triggers and gave her the structure and confidence she needed to improve. The updates throughout the program were reassuring, and the follow-up guidance has helped me continue her training at home. She spends time with you to ensure you have the tools and confidence to help your dog. Her property is beautiful with clean areas for your pup surrounded by so many well loved animals of her own for your dog to socialize with. Lucy even socialized with her horses! Lucy now listens better, stays calmer in situations that used to overwhelm her, and is so much more enjoyable to be around. I never thought I'd see this level of improvement, and I'm beyond grateful for the incredible work Sogand did. If you're struggling with a reactive dog, I highly recommend Heaven Sent K-9 Training --she is truly life-changing!

I can't believe that one used to want to kill the other! Thank you Sogand!

We had an extremely dog aggressive 6 year old golden retriever. My husband and I had thoughts about having to give up our puppy because our dogs were not getting along and it was getting dangerous & Sogand saved our family. We shopped forever and worked with so many different dog trainers and Sogand was the ONLY trainer who did not rely on e-collar and ONLY used positive reinforcement. We did a board and train (behavior adjustment) with her and he came back a different dog! Her ranch is absolutely phenomenal and we had absolutely no worries leaving him there. She has so much land! If you have a dog who has any type of aggression, Sogand is your girl. She has so much love and care for all of her animals and you can tell through her work. Our follow-ups have been awesome and she sees all the little details in both dogs and gives us homework that really helps us! Thank you Sogand for giving us a new start with our dogs!

This is our second German Shepherd that Sogand trained (first one Max had major behavior issues which she fixed) and with Charlie we sent him for puppy obedience and again for adolescent training for more extensive skills. Sogand is amazing. First, Charlie absolutely loves her which is the #1 sign that your dog is well taken care of when in her custody. Second, he is a completely different dog. He came home today and we're excited to see him. It is a constant work in progress (as much for us as for him) lol! But Sogand sets you up for success with lessons and pointers on how to continue training on your own. She is always available and reliable. We highly recommend her for any of your dog training needs. THANK YOU SOGAND!!!

We have a half husky/half golden retriever with a lot of energy and drive. Sogand worked with him in her board and train program for a little over 2 weeks, then did a 1-hour training session with us afterward. It is clear she not only loves dogs but is extremely knowledgeable about the benefits of positive reinforcement. Our dog now has a good foundation to work off of and Sogand instilled confidence in us that as long as we stay consistent with our part of the training, he will continue to learn and be the dog of our dreams!

Practicing the commands a week after Mazzys return from board and train!

We did a 2 week board and train with Sara in Irvine for our 2 year old golden doodle, Mazzy, and we were so impressed with the outcome I really wish we had done it sooner. We wanted to do a board and train but the idea of leaving our girl Mazzy with a stranger was a really difficult decision and we wanted to make sure we did it with the right person. We did a lot of research and visited many trainers but after the initial consultation with Sara I felt very comfortable and just felt it was the right decision. The training scenarios she used were perfect for our lifestyle and what we were looking to improve. Mazzy behaves like a brand new dog it is truly amazing and we are so happy with the outcome. We are excited to continue seeing Mazzy's growth as Sara prepared us with tools to advance her training. we are highly considering continuing another board and train with Sara such as the off leash or therapy dog training. Thank you for all your help Sara!

Indy's space-guarding is no longer the concern it was at home after training with Sogan at Heaven Sent K9

TLDR: Sogand's training saved us from surrendering our dog with aggressive behaviors, absolutely recommend. My husband and I were reaching our breaking point with our 1-year old lab mix, Indiana. We had adopted him as an 8-week old pup and our first dog Kojak was ecstatic to have a new friend at home. We introduced Indy to people, other pups, started basic training at home, took him to PetSmart puppy classes, handled his paws/ears/all over. He was learning and growing each day. It wasn't until Indy was around 5 months when we first noticed his behavior change. He growled, bared his teeth, he lunged, chased, and bit our older dog. Indy was guarding toys, space, and his body. Aggressive episodes were happening every single day and it felt like an explosion was about to go off inside our home at any moment. We enrolled Indy to another couple of training programs where he got some further reinforcement of his basic training and learned some new tricks, but his biggest behavior concerns were still not directly addressed. His trainers were sweet but did not give us specific help or tools to improve the situation at home. Indy's behavior escalated to the point where my husband and I had gotten bitten multiple times, and the last thing I wanted was for my other dog to end up in the ER. As a dog owner and a veterinarian, I felt like a complete failure. I know what can happen to a dog with aggressive behavior, I know what kind of accidents can happen to adults/kids/other pets when a trigger is set off. Indy was a good dog and I felt like I failed him. I found Heaven Sent K9 online after expanding my search for aggressive dog/behavior training. I watched Sogand's videos and read testimonials all night. It was the first time I saw a trainer specifically share their experience and success with helping dogs with aggression. My husband and I discussed it knowing it was our last effort for Indy to continue living with our family. Sogand was so patient with me as I explained our situation over the phone. She was flexible with scheduling Indy's initial evaluation. During that in-person evaluation, she went over our biggest concerns and worked Indy through some exercises. Her experience and training gave us so much hope that Indy could improve. Sogand recommended the 2 week boarded training program for Indy. She gave us specific instructions and guidance to implement at home while we waited for Indy's training to start. It was crazy to see that in the time before Indy's training, he was already showing signs of improvement at home. The only downside I would share is that I had expected more communication during the first week of Indy's stay. We heard from Sogand towards the end of the first week as a check-in and she did confirm that the first week was more reinforcement of basics and nothing too testing for Indy. The second half of the training involved a lot more updates with videos and pictures of our boy showing his progress. Upon Indy's pickup, Sogand reviewed the exercises with us in person and encouraged both of us to go through the games and exercises with Indy with her. It was so good to see our pup and the positive changes he had made under Sogand's training. She did repeat that this is not a quick fix as she first shared with us during his initial consultation. Indy still required daily sessions at home with us for the months ahead. It was great that we were able to check in with Sogand by phone and text after completing Indy's training. Even when we faced an obstacle at home, Sogand was there to guide us with her expertise. It's been about 2 months since picking him up from training and I could not be more grateful for how much happier our family is at home.

I met with several trainers before Brad & had little to no success in the areas we needed most, I was exhausted. Now for the first time ever, I can leave him home alone without the overwhelming anxiety and guilt that used to come with it. Our walks are actually enjoyable again, and I feel confident bringing him around friends and into new environments. What I appreciate most is that the training gave me the tools and confidence to understand and communicate with my dog better. My boyfriend and I took in our cattle dog, Ollie, as a stray almost 4 months ago. Quick background: Ollie was found tied to a fire hydrant outside my work. Ollie is the sweetest boy, however is very reactive to other dogs and is a bundle of energy that presents as endless jumping and nipping. We have a senior Saint Bernard at home in which Ollie has been too rough/aggressive with her, even when our Saint Bernard makes it known that she doesn't want to be bothered. We tried water sprays at home and other attempts at training to no avail. We began to feel helpless as our biggest concern was his relationship with our Saint Bernard, as it got to the point where we felt we had to consider rehoming him. During our session with Brad, we immediately saw results which had us dumbfounded. Like other reviews have mentioned, his technique is not "mean," but is a firm mindset that Ollie requires. All the while, Brad emphasizes when to correct your dog and when to praise him, while stressing the fact that these techniques are not made to scare your dog, but rather establish a leader mentality while simultaneously letting the dog know that you provide love and safety. Of course, like any training, one can only be successful when carrying over these learned techniques at home, but Brad left us feeling confident and ready to continue the work. Even when we got home today, we already had seen a shift from Ollie. As for Brad himself - he is very approachable and really looks to understand both the dog and all the circumstances that come with them. You could really get a sense of how personal he is. We definitely recommend him. Thank you so much, Brad!

Last year, we brought them frequently and always felt confident leaving them there. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the facility felt clean, and our dogs always seemed happy to be there. That's why it's so disappointing to see how much things have changed since the ownership transition. Since the change in ownership, we've noticed a significant decline in the overall experience. The staff no longer feels as friendly or approachable. While there are still a few kind employees, several team members come across as cold and unhelpful, making drop-off feel uncomfortable and even a bit intimidating. It no longer feels like the warm, welcoming environment it once was. We've also noticed the facility doesn't seem nearly as clean as it used to be. Our dogs consistently come home smelling strongly of urine after daycare. We occasionally check the live cameras throughout the day and frequently see urine sitting on the playroom floors for extended periods before being cleaned up. If messes in the common play areas are left unattended, it raises concerns about how often the kennels are being cleaned when the dogs are resting. Combined with the odor our dogs come home with, it has made us question the overall cleanliness of the facility. Another noticeable change is how little time our dogs now seem to spend in the play areas. We'll pay for a half-day of daycare, and by the time we pick them up, we're lucky if they've spent more than 30 minutes interacting with other dogs. The majority of their visit appears to be spent kenneled. We choose daycare because we want our dogs to have a safe, clean environment where they can socialize and play. If they're spending most of their visit in a kennel, it's difficult to justify paying for daycare when they could be comfortably resting at home in a cleaner environment for free. Customer service has also become frustrating. Recently, one of our dogs came home without his collar. We didn't realize it until we got home, so we called the facility and were told someone would call us back because they were too busy at the moment. We never received a callback. After calling several more times over the next few days without getting an answer, we ultimately had to drive to the facility ourselves just to ask about and retrieve the collar. Pickup has also become much slower than it used to be, often requiring a long wait before our dogs are brought out. We're genuinely disappointed because we loved this location for a long time and trusted the team with our pets. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, we've experienced a noticeable decline in cleanliness, customer service, and the overall level of care. We hope these concerns are taken seriously because we'd love to see this location return to the high standard that made us loyal customers in the first place.

Sal is amazing! We were at a loss after already completing basic training with our pup, as he was…read morestill struggling with negative behaviors we needed to correct, including nipping, guarding, fear, biting at the vet, and anxiety with strangers. We brought our 2-year-old rescue chihuahua mix, Harry, to Sal in hopes that he could help us address these more significant trauma-related issues. Harry was a tough nut to crack, but after the one-week board and train, we were blown away by the positive changes we saw. Sal and his team made incredible breakthroughs with Harry. He was able to be held and touched by the trainers, stopped guarding, and became noticeably calmer and happier overall. The post-board and train "tune-ups" were also extremely effective, allowing us to troubleshoot concerns during our 1:1 follow-up sessions with Sal. Harry has continued to return to Sal for day boarding, touch-ups, and additional socialization with other dogs, which he loves. He is always excited to see Sal and the training staff, which tells us the experience was truly positive for him. Now that we've completed the initial training and several boarding sessions, Harry is doing great. We can have people enter our home, he can go to the vet, get his teeth cleaned with no anesthesia, and receive care without needing to be muzzled or heavily medicated, and he is much more compliant overall. A bonus is that we can now confidently leave Harry for a day or vacation boarding, knowing he is in the best care and continuing his training while we're away. We can't recommend Sal and his team enough for their incredible work, professionalism, and responsiveness with Harry.

Cannot recommend Obey My Commands dog training enough. We were amazed when we picked him after the 2 weeks.. he was able to focus on walks, has 'place' and 'home' down, and overall behaves much better in public. We reached out to Sal because we needed help getting Russer to focus and listen to us in public.. we can now take him to the beach, walks, and just about anywhere without worrying about him lunging at another dog or barking. Russer is also very obsessed with his 'uncle Sal.' Whenever we need to go away for the weekend, we drop off Russer to stay with Sal which is a relief to know he's getting a training refresh and is staying with someone we fully trust. He also has such a blast socializing with the other dogs. Overall, the team at Obey My Commands knows what they're doing and is a team you can fully trust with your pup
