He came to my home the next day, went up into the attic, climbed on my roof, noticed a leak (totally unrelated to my phantom visitor) and applied sealant. He was thorough, so friendly and I felt safe (which is important!). He went above and beyond to find the source of the critter, and again, while doing so advised me of other situations at my home (i.e., the leak). When I asked him what I owed him, he said nothing...because he wasn't able to find the squirrel/bird/? That is excellent customer service. If I were to review myself, however, I would get not even one star. Dan and I talked about other things he does and we thought he would be a good fit re: doing some side work as he is a craftsman as well. I reached out several times and never received a response. I thought it was really odd because we talked about other plans for my house...I was really excited! I finally realized that I forgot to send him $$$ for the time he spent and effort he went to find the source of the activity in my home and for climbing around on top of my roof and applying sealant to when the leak was. In closing, I'll reiterate that Dan is great (!) and I need to get back on my Adderall.

Well I made calls Friday late afternoon desperate for someone to come out and spray before the party Saturday morning. Brian had missed my call and I explained my situation and he asked if he could contact another customer to push their appointment an hour and see me first and he would call me back. They thankfully agreed and he came right out. Thank goodness he did because we didn't see a single mosquito the whole party and loved being outside for the party. Additionally I had him spray for all other obnoxious pests and the roaches are all already dying so quickly it's crazy. I have found them dying in so many places and the ants are no longer forcing their way into my house or taking residence all over my entry to my house. It is like magic. I woke up one night to the sound of something thrashing in our attic (which is right over my bed). Convinced it was a mouse, I woke my DH (Darling Husband) and we sat there listening for it to stop. Once the same came up he found critter stuck to a glue trap left by our pest control. Upon further inspection, it was decided that flying squirrel had come into our builders gap. Because of the amount of trees around the property our attic was currently being used as a pathway, den and gathering place for the squirrels. My skeptical DH does not like anyone else working in his home, but this was outside his scope. I found Cristian on Yelp; although he had few reviews, his website was very informative and his demeanor was very professional. We left a message and he called us back at the end of the day. He was puntual, professional, communicated and answered all the questions he was asked. He went above and beyond the job. He not only perform the exclusion job we hired him for, he cleaned our gutters, changed the lightbulbs in the flood lights and covered all the vents for us. We asked him to put a small screen on a bathroom window we could not reach and he was so kind to do that for us as well. It's a shame that 5 stars is all we could give him, he certainly deserves more.

Things started out well, but have ended horribly. We hired Christian based on a referral and he was…read moreable to come out to address our pest issue quickly. He recommended sealing the roof, showed the material he would use, and said he would disinfect the attic as well as pick up the traps when everything was done in a few weeks. While he was sealing a space around our AC unit, he accidentally punctured the AC pipe! We then had to find an AC tech to come out immediately. He was very picky about who we selected because of the price he would have to pay for fixing the issue, and he did pay for the repair by removing that cost from his service. After the roof was sealed, he told us he placed the traps and told us to check them every few days to see if anything was caught. Once we confirmed there was nothing he said he would come out and disinfect the attic and remove the traps, as apart of his service. After a few weeks we did not see any new activity and called him to come pick up the traps as well as disinfect, as promised. He refused to come unless we paid him to do it, but it was initially included in the price we already paid him. We sucked it up because we didn't want to pay more but we're upset that we would still have to deal with pest feces in our attic space. Now, 2 years later, we have new activity, which was confirmed by another company. They took pictures of the shoddy work that was done and showed where he left some gaps in the roof. The metal he used to seal is also much smaller than what this company was suggesting. I am beyond upset! Finally, when I messaged him about this, he immediately got defensive and said the other company was lying And his work is great! All in all, the proof is in the fact that the pests are back, there are gaps in our roof, and he never came back to finish the initial job that he promised to do, even considering the extra damage and inconvenience he did to our home via the hole in our AC unit. The first two quotes we received were competitive in price, but recommended different methods of treatment, some being more invasive to our home than others (all would treat the perimeter of the home, with one wanting to also drill inside the bathroom near where we were seeing the activity. This would require drilling behind baseboard, and poss6tile floor!) For this reason, we called out another two companies to hear what their plan and price would be. We only called out companies with top-rated reviews, referred by others. 3 of 4 companies seemed very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and were on the top. One, we eliminated immediately. How to choose? It was now about method, availability, warranty, and pricing. What was different, and impressed us most about VEX, was that he was the 'gentlman' who not only was the 'salesman', but is the owner and would be on the job working. We are so HAPPY to have chosen his company to rid the little bugger-beasts!!! Despite paying $2,500 for what was contracted as a "Full Exclusion" with a 2-year warranty, the work failed. Within four weeks, I had wildlife back in my attic. I sent video evidence of the breach immediately, but I have been met with total radio silence. Every call and message is ignored. They were quick to take the money but have completely abandoned their warranty obligations. Avoid this company unless you want to pay thousands for zero accountability.
