I have loose, choppy hair, but despite this my hair looked amazing after Tamika braided it. After 4 weeks, the parts were clean and perfect, and there was barely any frizz considering I had them in a while with no touch up or edge control at all. After my hair was braided my head was not sore. Although Tamika is amazing with doing my daughters hair. I had an appointment time scheduled for tomorrow for myself and for my daughter on 7/14. I sent her a message this morning asking if I could simple take my daughter in tomorrow for her individual braids and I would see her next week for my individual braids. ( as my Mother just had back surgery a week ago and took a turn for the worse. I let her know I was flying out to take care of her) but also CONFIRMED that my daughter would be there tomorrow morning at 9am. Granted I had canceled before within 24 hours like her website says and with our busy schedule I did forget to cancel one other time before ( not in a quite a while) she was not losing out on a customer tomorrow nor on the 14 we were just switching days so that I being the nurse in my family could go tend to my mother. She sent a message saying she has a business to run and that my family and I are no longer on her clientele list. Sadly she's lost a customer in my family, my sisters, and nieces who I had referred to her also who were going to schedule with her because I spoke so highly of her. Guess we'll take our services elsewhere. It' is very unfortunate ESPECIALLY since I was not canceling my appointment just switching appointments with my daughter. Not sure how you interpreted me switching an appointment because I had to take an emergent flight to help take care of my Mother as a cancellation, but no worries we've found a new braider who appreciates our services and busy schedule. If it's about losing money you could've easily charged a deposit or non cancellation fee within 24 hours the 1 time I did forget. But I clearly gave you days even weeks notice when I let you know that my Son cut his hair, and I rescheduled.
