I've had extensions for five years and always went to the same person. Recently, I moved to SoCal and had to find a new person to do my hair. It's nerve wracking to switch stylists and hair extensions are a very specific trade so I was particular about finding a place that had good reviews and did not do any other type of hair services. I wanted someone who only specialized in extensions. After reading reviews I decided to try this place. It's a husband and wife team and they were very professional and efficient with time, which I really appreciated. They gave me the option of using two different kinds of hair; one that was higher quality virgin hair and could be reused, and the other that was also good quality but processed. I selected the lower grade, less expensive hair as I do not like to reuse hair. Because I've had extensions in the past, I could tell a difference in how the hair felt immediately. It wasn't as shiny or moist as the virgin hair I was used to using in the past. With that said, it still had body and held up well. I had a good experience with my hair and went back three months later to get another set. The second time, I decided to try the higher quality virgin hair. I knew from experience it was less likely to tangle and would feel healthier. I was very pleased with that decision as the hair looked natural and silky. It's definitely worth the extra money to get the best quality of hair you can for extensions. I also want to note that it's difficult to take two hours out of your work day to get your hair done. These guys were great about accommodating a conference call I had to take for work and being silent while I was on the phone (they kept going with my hair while I was on the call). I really appreciated their politeness. Last thing; they give you reasonably priced recommendations on hair products. Nothing that they sell; all stuff you buy yourself after leaving. I liked that they weren't "upselling" me and pushing a product they had in their salon. They also educate you on how to thicken your natural hair and get better results long term. I was in China for business for 7 months and am back, baby! I was miserable wearing clip ins while I was there, I hated it! I was happy to go back to Hair Extension Studio and see everyone. They gave me 22 in dark brown hair and used a different technique this time. It's called a "flat track system"using beads only- no braiding! It allows for a really smooth scalp, no bulky braiding. They told me this method lasts twice as long if I don't have time to come get touch ups as often as before. Which is awesome because I live in Vegas now. Yes, I commute for them. I asked him if there was anything that he felt I lied about or was untrue. His answer was No, but he didn't want to have bad review on Yelp. Well, that's too bad. My review is an honest one and i'm sure not the one to hurt your business, you are. Side note, After researching online I was able to find many great extensionist out there that are much more reasonable ($1.00/strands for micro beads) and even a flat rate of $100 for a full head of hair (120 strands) They do tight row oppose to brick layering like this place that doesn't give much volume (if that's what you're looking for). Any ways, be smart and search places that are welling to earn your business. There are places I've found that does GREAT work for a reasonable price AND GREAT customer service. read more

They will take out a chart of hair colors, match it with you hair, and dye your extensions! I have NEVER been to a salon that does such thing, so I'm very excited about this.
