I had the fro-yo, a combination of vanilla beans and peanut butter topped with thinly sliced almonds and crushed peanuts. At .79 cents an ounce, it came out to $6 ans some change. I did not completely fill my container. Both the vanilla and peanut butter fro-yo were very tasty. The peanut was smoother than the vanilla for some reason. The combination of flavors were great. The offer a great variety of toppings for the your frozen yogurt. I can see how the kids and teens would love this place, and some adults as well. Frankly, there are not enough froyo places anymore! It's like the 2010s crazy came and went and they all disappeared. I appreciate that Heavenly is clean and well kept and they have a nice variety of flavors. Honey Greek is always one of my favorites and I loved seeing it in the rotation. The seating area is roomy in there and service was very friendly. What I didn't love was the actual taste of the yogurt. The tart was a little too sour- tasted a little funky. And some of the other flavors did not taste flavorful enough. It was almost like something was a little off with the mixes, so maybe I just came on an off day. I was also pretty shocked by prices. I may have been charged incorrectly though. I got two cups and I swear she said $14 but I was charged $18 so it may have been a mistake. $14 would've felt reasonable but $18 was a little crazy. Oh how I wish they have Honey Greek!! I swung by Heavenly Yogurt on a swelteringly hot evening for an after dinner treat. I got a swirl with their cookies and cream flavor + their original tart. Service was friendly and quick, and the space was very roomy and clean. Cookies and cream was very decadent and tasted just like Oreos! The tart was just ok, though I wish it were a bit creamier. They don't have the largest topping selection but all the major types are represented. Though the fro-yo hit the spot, what stuck with me was actually the color changing spoons! I was absolutely a mood ring FANATIC in grade school so this was right up my alley. Mind you, I didn't know they changed color so I had a little startle the first time I pulled that spoon out of my mouth. Such a fun and unexpected little twist! I love frozen yogurt and was happy to find this spot in Tierrasanta. It's always nice to support local so when we found this for a weeknight treat we were happy. The lady at the counter was awesome. There were many flavors, there were sugar free and dairy free options. I went with the dairy free option of the pineapple dole whip style and it was so incredibly tasty! It was perfect for a summer night! The prices were on par with other yogurt shops so that was nice. However, the ambiance is great inside. It is set up where you can play some board games and just hang out and talk. There are tables both indoors and outdoors and it is in a nice little area that is quiet. Inside in a pleasantly light, clean and welcoming seating area, surrounded by some tempting yogurt machines with a variety of tempting flavors. But... $6.75 is the high starting price for the smallest cup, but its actually a good size. Still quite expensive! But maybe this was the best frozen yogurt in San Diego? I poured myself a healthy serving of Pistachio and Cold Brew Stok Coffee. Adding syrup and a topping is 75 cents each, so I skipped those. Besides, I wanted to taste the purity of the yogurt. It was average and seemed very artificial. Not for me. I'm sure if I was in my early 20s or younger I would've enjoyed this a lot more, but now I'm an old food snob. The owner has done such a great job with the place and his staff is always so warm and inviting. My little guy loves going, especially for the 'white ice cream with m&ms'. Do you want that oh so popular Disneyland dole whip without having to get in the car and do the 90 minute drive to Anaheim? It's cute inside, clean, quality flavors to choose from. Everyone is bound to be satisfied, they capture all taste buds. Toppings - NOW not sure if this is a standard thing nationwide with every yogurt shop due to the pandemic, but now all of the "all you can add toppings" are truly not. They come in these cheap lil plastic ramekins and you have to just get your plastic ramekin with the topping of your choice (i.e, sour gummy worms, coconut, granola, etc..) and then they charge for the amount of ramekins you come to check out with. One thing I do not like is how they charge by SIZE of your cup. I am a fan of just I put what I want in my cup and you just weigh that baby. Therefore, this place is more pricier..... Quality is the same as any yogurt shop, the toppings are all pretty typical of a yogurt shop, so why do ya gotta be more pricier? I would love to see that change, but basically it reminds me of like a PINKBERRY (which I despise because I do not like someone else giving me my serving, like I WANNA DO IT) but it is a hint reminiscent of that. You have control but at the same time the pricing is skewed based on standard SMALL / MEDIUM / LARGE and then how many toppings you select (1,2,3 etc...) Heavenly Yogurt is currently operating on a non self-serve basis. You will pay based on the yogurt cup size. The smallest cup starts off at $5. You may add toppings on the side for .50 cents each. All toppings are pre-packaged. There were about 10 flavors to choose from. I'm used to more flavor options. You can choose as many flavors as you like. I opted for the medium size which was $7 and it was filled up pretty high. I tried the sea salt caramel, brownie chocolate and tart flavors. The quality of the yogurt was great, it had a thick texture and it didn't taste watered down at all. We didn't finish and was provided a lid to take it home. There is no indoor seating but there were about 3 tables outside for customers to eat their yogurt. The woman who helped me get my yogurt was absolutely friendly and very polite. We visited this place on a Saturday around 3:30pm. It was me, my husband and 2 girls (ages 2 and 4). It's located in a shopping center, easy to find. Is cute inside, with a little table for kids. They do have a few tables outside as well. They give you cups for free samples. Lots of cool flavors. Unfortunately I'm lactose intolerant so I can't say if they all tasted good. However I can speak to the non-dairy flavor. This time they had Dole Whip Pineapple. At first, the name didn't impress me. I was thinking it would be like sorbet. But it was delicious!!! My girls loved their froyo. My husband didn't have any because he wanted a Dairy Queen blizzard. We definitely plan to return.
