They had at least 8 different flavors but I went with original tart. I'm a big fan when the froyo is very creamy. And that's how original tart was. Came one evening with my partner who has never tried frozen yogurt before. I worked at a frozen yogurt shop for about 2.5 years in 2012 so I am very familiar with what they have to offer and how they operate. I have a high standard for frozen yogurt shops when it comes to quality, cleanliness, and fresh toppings. We stopped by Yog-art on our way home since this is nearby where we live. What's a little unique about this place is that they also have boba offerings so you can get your fix for either sweet treat. They had sample cups laid out and the price per oz was posted and reasonably priced. We sampled a few and then I grabbed a cup. We were initially planning to share since my partner said he didn't want much, but after sampling a few flavors and watching me make my creation, he ended up grabbing a cup of his own too. So excited to find a local froyo spot! This is in the same plaza as San Diego Brewing Company. Typical set up, froyo flavors in the back and toppings towards the register. We went when it was empty, which was nice since it was our first time, so I got to take my time in trying some samples and picking my toppings. I did want to note that it's a 2 samples per person rule, so please be respectful and choose flavors you're most interested in. Check out was easy and the lady at the register was quiet but friendly. I ordered my stuff and went to pay but the girl at the register didn't know how to apply the Groupon. I felt super bad because she was confused but I told her she'd have to ask her manager because my Groupon applied to a set amount I can use and not a percentage off. She kept trying to make me pay but the Groupon covered the whole order so it was supposed to zero out. She could not understand what I was talking about lol I had her take a photo of my Groupon receipt and told her to ask her manager what I'm talking about, and if any issues, they can contact me. Very disappointed in this place now! This is a local yogurt shop my family and I have been coming here for so long. The young ladies who own this are the sweetest and offer the best service. There has been new employees recently, we were walking up to the door and we seen the blonde girl run to lock the door at 9:10 pm on Friday night when the hours shown are 9:30 on the weekends. This is our most favorite fro yo/boba place in San Diego so far. The froyo flavors are tasty and unique and we love the topping choices that Yog-art offer. The boba I had was a small strawberry lychee boba and it was very delicious and such a good price for $4.75. The boba was so refreshing and perfect way to end the night. The small boba was very decent size and the toppings had the perfect amount. Yog-Art is located next to the San Diego Brewing Co. in a shopping plaza. There is plenty of parking and the wait time is very fast. It can get busy, but not too crazy. The place is clean and organized. There are so many things we want to try besides froyo and boba. Price on digital tv and printed menu for the Okinawa milk tea (#16 on their printed menu which ) was wrong. The price listed on the menus was $6.15, but I was charged $6.99. When I informed the employee of the price difference, employee first said it was because of added taxes, when I showed her on the receipt that taxes was a separate line item, she backtracked and admitted the price listed was wrong. Just happened to be in the area and was craving something sweet... so I decided to give this place a try. You can order online for pick up or delivery which is very nice during this pandemic we're going through. I placed my order at 11:40am not knowing they didn't open till 12pm (my bad) lol was told my drink would be ready for pick up by 12:10pm. THE DRINK: presentation was on point super cute! I liked how you are able to pick your toppings popping boba and rainbow jelly add ons were free but if you want a certain flavor boba it's around .50 cents extra. I feel like the drink was missing a little sweetness I felt like it was a little lackluster. The reason I'm giving a 4/5 THE STAFF: the lady that gave me my drink was very polite. One thing that was a little weird to me she didn't ask for a confirmation number or anything as I ordered online and just walked in and said that I was picking up an online order. This review is strictly for the chamoy drinks. The drinks I've gotten here have been consistently good. You literally cannot go wrong with any of their flavors. My personal favorites are the original mango chamoy and the strawberry mango for the days I want something a little sweeter. The best part of ordering here is that you can customize your drinks to have extra chamoy or and extra tamarind straw (for a small additional fee). The service can be a little slow at times but with how good the drinks are, I'll overlook it. Wow, a frozen yogurt shop that serves chamoy drinks?! I certainly haven't encountered a place like this around town. As a matter of fact, I was very impressed by their selection of drink creations on the menu which all came in three sizes. Besides chamoy, they had milkshakes, fruit blends, frozen blends, boba milk teas and classic milk teas. Of course, if you wanted self serve frozen yogurt (10 different flavors) with a toppings bar, that was available too as this suite used to be occupied by Fiji Yogurt. The interior had lots of floral decorations including two racks of succulents by the entrance. A chalkboard wall with colorful paper flowers was to the left when you walked in. The staff was very pleasant and greeted me upon entry. After studying the menu, I picked a small mango strawberry chamoy drink. The server accidentally made a medium size and gave me the entire thing while only charging me for a small. He apologized for the mistake that was to my benefit, and I couldn't help but appreciate his graciousness. The drink was quite large and contained chunks of mango in it. There was plenty of chamoy and tajin added so the spices and tartness weren't lacking. It was hard to find fault with my experience here. I even received an e-mail afterwards containing a reward code that was good for a $2 discount at my next visit. read more

Everything looked so good so it was definitely hard to decide. They were very generous with the sample cups so that our little one could try each flavor before deciding.
