Super yummy açaí not the cutest place but they have amazing açaí that's worth coming back for over and over again!
I was looking for an açaí bowl place and glad I stumbled upon this place! These juices are BOMB! They gave us a lil tasting of all the juices.I loved all the green drinks. The sweet greens was the best. The açaí for the bowl is made from scratch too. That's how you know this place is legit. The ginger shot has got a good kick to it! Definitely way to cleanse and start the morning! Gotta check this place out if you're in the area!
A former shoe store in this Convoy DIstrict shopping plaza has been converted into a juicery. Pure Squeeze Juice Bar opened late last year in a suite between a Japanese BBQ joint and a yakitori restaurant. Parking in this lot is notoriously bad, even with the spaces located behind the structure. Inside seating was limited to one high-top table with two seats so taking your order to go was the norm. A variety of prepackaged products were on display in a refrigerator. Menu boards and a menu sheet were available at the service counter. Cold pressed juices, smoothies, bowls, almond milk blends, and ginger shots were the categories. One of the workers (owner?) offered samples of some of their items which were kept as opened bottles in an ice bath at the counter. I tried a few before deciding on a small (16 oz) P.O.G. Juice. The cold pressed juice was a blend of pineapple, orange, and guava with ginger. It tasted sweeter than I had expected but was nonetheless refreshing. They have good quality products here. The deterrent is the difficulty in finding parking so visiting this business more frequently would be challenging. I gave a 4.5 star rating for my experience at Pure Squeeze Juice Bar.
Was looking for something fresh after Pilates and decided to try this new spot. The place is so clean and fresh. As we walked in we were immediately greeted by the owner behind the counter. He was very kind and generous. He asked us if we'd like to sample all the juices they have for sale. He explained each one, the ingredients and benefits. Every single one was delicious! We ended up getting Farmers Detox , POG, and a beets juice. If you buy 4 you get one free. They are $9 each but that's how much smoothies are anyways, so it's worth it. We will definitely be back.
holy wow! This place is an absolute go to! I wish I lived here so I could come EVERY WEEK TO RESTOCK!! Walked in good vibes. Smelled really good, and was super clean. I love the open kitchen where you can see them work Min Soo is absolutely amazing, we found out he was the owner after. They do the little juice tastings before you commit which is so helpful. He was super knowledgeable and clearly passionate about what he has here. He let us try like everything and let me tell you it was all-- SCRUMPTIOUS!!! We initially got the POG (pineapple, orange, guava, ginger) and the raspberry blood (raspberry and blood orange)! So light and so refreshing, I have to keep myself from chugging it-- then we tried more and ended up with 5 juices total! They were all so so good. The orange one scared us at first because of the carrot but he reassured us the strawberry balances it out and boy was he right. We are also excited to try the ginger shots (a little scared but I'm sure they're yummy) I am thrilled we came here, and I really hope to be back soon
Traveling down to San Diego with my boyfriend and we wanted something healthy before our paddle boat date. I looked up açaí bowl and came across this cute family owned business. I got 2 juices and an açaí bowl and I was blown away. I would come back again and try the other juices as well. Service was great and lots of parking outside in the plaza. After reading the reviews, it was up to the standards.
Was craving their fresh juices so I made the trip down to get some more for my family to try! Service was phenomenal--the guy at the front has fresh chilled juices in an ice bucket for customers to try! There's even new drinks based on what fruits and veggies are in season--the guava based drink is now my new favorite! Since my last visit, they added acai bowls and a healthy chocolate dessert bowl. We tried both, and can see ourselves returning to get them again! The acai bowl is packed with the yummy acai base and paired with fresh produce (cinnamon spiced apples, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas) and pairs perfectly with the crunch of the granola. The chocolate based bowl is the perfect sweet yet healthy dessert and I loved the fresh fruit with it. What I love about this store that makes me a repeat customer is not only the fantastic customer service, but also how healthy every item on the menu is. It's rare to find a gem like this store that dedicates itself to only using fresh produce from local farms and serving healthy options for all.

We checked this place out in between classes and had a great experience. Min Soo was extremely helpful and made the visit so fun. He had samples of all the juices available and helped us narrow down our choices. The juices and shots were delicious. We will definitely be back!!
It is truly so refreshing to see such passion and knowledge in small business owners! I've had my fair share of cold pressed juices in LA, OC, and SD. I usually don't write reviews for these places because I've never had a truly WOW experience until now. I drank a few juices from here and each juice was so delicious and healing. I was feeling under the weather for a while with a cough and a cold and I truly believe these juices helped! My usual frustration with most juice bars and smoothie bars is that they either have added sugars or taste horrible and I have to pinch my nose and drink it like a shot. I am more than happy to say that Pure Squeeze is free from both! My juice was healthy AND tasty! (very rare in my experience) Besides having knowledgeable employees and tasty products, Pure Squeeze goes the extra mile in local and responsible sourcing. You can tell how meticulously thought out and planned each juice is based on how the healing properties of the ingredients are combined per juice (if you're here while the owner is here definitely talk to him and hear his explanations! that was the highlight for me). Yes each juice is nine dollars, however, you can tell these juices are healthy and deliver high quality nutrients! (This picture is not from the store and is from my couch but that just tells you how much I liked it because I still took a picture for Yelp even though I felt horrible LOL) I'll definitely be back for more next time i'm in SD!

Not to be dramatic, but this place has the best acai bowl I've ever had in my life. And I've had A LOT of acai bowls. It wasn't full of artificial sugar, the base is HOMEMADE in house (not that frozen sorbet crap), the texture was creamy, it has chunks of cinnamon apples on top, and they make their almond milk in house as well. What a hidden gem!! I'm obsessed and want their business to be booming. I also tried all of their pressed juices (which all the fruit comes from local farmers) and they were all so yummy. Aside from all of this, my sister has a severe nut allergy and she's pregnant so she has a lot of diet restrictions. The owner was so patient explaining what nuts they use, and was informed on diet restrictions for pregnant people. He was so sweet! We will 100% be coming back and hope that more people discover this hidden gem. read more

There aren't many açaí bowl places in the Convoy/Kearny Mesa area, so I decided to give Pure Squeeze Juice Bar a try during my lunch break. It's located in the same plaza as Epic Wings FYI. Ordered the Cacao Banana Bowl ($14.95 - house cacao banana blend, banana, strawberry, walnuts, pepitas, cinnamon apples and peanut butter). I would rate this a 7.5/10. The cacao banana blend had an interesting consistency which was a little runny (slightly off-putting). I wish the consistency was thicker like a smoothie so that the bowl wouldn't melt as fast. Additionally, the toppings seemed a little all over the place as far as flavor combinations, but I really enjoyed the cinnamon apples, walnuts and PB together. They offer other menu items like fresh squeezed juices and smoothies along with other bowls. If I come back, I may try one of their smoothies. read more

My favorite juice bar in town! Every visit has been a great experience. It's a one-man operation, but the owner does an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly while making every customer feel welcome. He's incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and always happy to answer questions or let you sample different juices before deciding. You can really tell he cares about the quality of his products and making sure customers leave happy. They just open and let me tell you their pressed juice are actually good but what better than that is the message they deliver to the community. The support local farms and also providing healthier options for us. Service? On point, they will give you samples and give you explanations on what is inside to help you understand more about the drink and help you decide which is right for you. Ambiance, they can use a bit more detail in the background, maybe posters and stuff, but they fairly new open so hopefully the community will give them a chance and support them!! read more

I caught a cold and had no energy at all. I drank couple of bottles a day of these fresh cold-pressed juice for several days and I could actually feel my body getting lighter and my throat feeling smoother. Since my first visit, I've come back weekly to resupply on my juices. Each time, the owner has welcomed me warmly and provided consistently great customer service. Also, there seems to always be some kind of special going on! Today, I tried their new acai bowl for only $9 and was really impressed by how tasty and filling it was -- for the price, it was such a steal that I just had to update.
