Mike was also extremely communicative and easy to work with throughout the process and explained everything he had to due to ensure the job was done to code. In just one week's time, the wiring, sheet rock repair, painting, and hanging of our three chandeliers was complete. He updated the switch to include the controls for the ceiling fan. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. We are very happy with his work and would definitely hire him again! He did not patch the drywall, but he told us ahead of time that he does not generally do that. My husband is capable in completing this work so it was not a big deal for us. He said he couldn't fix that as it needs some special valve and requires a lot of work etc. So - instead, he recommended just changing the toilet. While it's not ideal as it costs me a little more, I went along with the suggestion to save time. After installing the toilet, he texted me that everything is done and asked for payment, which I shortly paid in full. 10 min later - my tenant texted me a picture to show protruding uncovered long screws from the base of the toilet and asking why the man left. I texted Mike and he said he intends to go back to fix that up next time. Though why he never mentioned about that unfinished work while asking for payment? In between my communication with him, my tenant texted rude words to him complaining about the "half ass job". He got upset and let me know he won't go back to finish. He won't refund anything either. He'll just leave it undone - with hazardous protruding screws. While I understand why he's upset about my tenant's rude words, it's unprofessional to leave a job undone, while pocketing the full payment. Later - I wrote to him to share my disappointment with his decision on no partial refund and no finishing the work and that I'd write up a Yelp review. And he texted me back with a threat that if I do, he would delete his Yelp account and would sue me in court. Sigh.

I sincerely appreciate their honesty in project pricing, good communication skills (they are working on projects daily but they do respond in a timely manner), highly skilled workmanship, amazing attention to detail and impeccable work ethic. Cuellar Property Solutions completed a carpet/linoleum demo with a vinyl floor installation for a 498 sq ft family room. After demo it was obvious the concrete subflooring was going to need to be leveled prior to installing a 20mil vinyl plank flooring. His cost proposal for the added/new project scope of leveling the concrete subfloor was reasonable and honest. (I sought out 2 other estimates that were ridiculously high) . With that said; the completion of the concrete leveling of the subfloor, installation of the vinyl plank flooring and the baseboards looks amazing. (please see photos) Additionally, they clean up after demo/construction and haul away the trash after each project. (I have experienced contractors leaving a mess and trash after a project) My second project was to add quartzite ledger to my existing brick fireplace which required having to level the brick surface to apply the floating quartzite ledger and quartzite corner pieces. They also creatively installed 12x24 porcelain tile on the landing in front of the fireplace. With that part of the project they very creatively, cut pieces of the quartzite ledger in order to create a quartzite bullnose to frame the tile installed on the fireplace landing. Again, this speaks to their creativity, skill, workmanship and work ethic to complete the job and make it look beautiful. I am extremely pleased with this outcome. As a homeowner I have had to hire several contractors in the last two years and I have had the worst experience with having to spend more money to correct the poor workmanship of these unskilled contractors. However, I am grateful to have met Jovany and Salvador because I trust and believe they are honest contractors that have my best interest at heart and are willing to help me understand the best way to complete my project vision. I find this lack of professionalism and unwillingness to maintain a customer relationship very unprofessional. As a loyal client who has given referrals, I expected a higher standard of respect and customer care. I would not recommend this plumber if you value reliability and professionalism. In response to your comment : I fully understand a business owner's right to choose their clients; however, customer service and professionalism go beyond simply accepting or refusing work. This review is for the solar system installation I had them do…read more I signed a contract with them in December 2015 and put down a deposit. They said they could start sometime in January. January turned into February. I never got any firm answers about when the installation would happen, just that it would be soon. February turned to March. I'm getting annoyed and still not getting any explanations about why there is a delay. In mid April, I finally get an installation date for later in the month. There were probably some other annoying delay details in there somewhere, but it's been awhile and I'm trying to forget the horror. To my surprise, Anthony does finally come at the end of April and finishes the job. Nick finishes the hook-up with PG&E in a week and I'm running. I'm ecstatic. Nick says that to compensate me for the long delay, they will install bird wire around my panels for free. (Note: you need this to keep pigeons from nesting beneath your panels if you have them in your area) As a gesture of goodwill, I refer one of my neighbors to them for a solar installation. I don't hear back from them for awhile. I periodically check back with Nick and he says they'll get to me eventually. In a few months, my neighbor tells me her installation is beginning. I ask Nick if they will be able to install my bird wire when they're in the area doing my neighbors install. He gives me the runaround and says they'll get to me later. Frustrated, I try a different tact. I say I want to add another panel to my system so they can make some money while doing my bird wire install. I continue to get the runaround. Eventually, Nick says that Anthony will come in November when he has an install in San Ramon. That date passes and Nick doesn't respond to my calls or emails. The next month, he tells me to ask Anthony directly about when he can come. I do this and Anthony ignores my inquiries. In the meantime, the pigeons have infested my roof and making a mess. My neighbor is complaining about all of the pigeon droppings on his property due to all of the birds. During the big rainstorms, I notice my gutters are overflowing....no doubt from clogging due to the pigeon droppings. After waiting a long nine months of broken promises and non-responses, I give up and hire someone else to do the bird wire job. Honestly, if they had just told me to pound sand, I wouldn't have had to waste my time waiting for them and give the pigeons a chance to mess up my roof. Remember, this is how they treat someone that gave them a customer referral! So in summary, long....long........long........delays before they start your installation, non-responsive customer service, and not following through on promises they made. What happens if you have something break while the system is under warranty? I don't think they will come out to fix it based on how I've been treated. I wish I'd have gone with one of the bigger name-brand installers.

I say this without irony: besides our children, Anthony was our biggest blessing of our ten year…read moremarriage. Let me tell you why. We hired someone we trusted to help set us up for success in our half-DIY kitchen renovation: build a beam for a supporting wall, add in other framework, and additional work with plumbing. Not only did all of this guy's work fail during the inspection, but he ran for the hills after collecting payment (luckily, not the full amount--we learned later though that he didn't deserve even a quarter of what we paid him). After more investigation, we learned that we were looking at a completely gutted kitchen with work that had to be COMPLETELY redone, from the new-but-wrong beam, to the plumbing. I was weeks away from delivering our fourth child and completely lost. All other contractors we called (and we called SO SO many) either didn't return our calls, were too busy, or clearly were delighted to take advantage of a desperate pregnant woman's situation and ride all the way to the bank. (Luckily, we were wiser by this point and were able to identify those people quickly.) Anthony was connected to us by some Facebook miracle and since January is a slower month for his usual business--solar--he was able to fit us in. The amount of work this man did in a week's time is extraordinary. He worked ALL day every day, not even pausing to eat, and dealt with the hardest of situations. Nothing he did was simple--even things that should have been still presented tricky problems that had to be thought through carefully and executed with exact detail. Not only was Anthony on site and doing all the construction himself, but he did so with level-headedness, craftsmanship, and a sense of honesty that completely blew my mind, especially after our first experience. I was brushed off and dismissed by other men we had worked with before; not with Anthony. I was treated with respect and 100% fairness, and involved with things--which I absolutely wanted. Also, the work he did was exceptional. Finally, every single thing Anthony did passed with flying colors with quite the picky inspector. The inspector clearly respected Anthony, his thought processes behind things, and his actual work. Because of Anthony, ALL our problems were fixed beautifully, we passed inspections the first time, and were able to move forward with our renovation so that this baby came home to floors and walls that we wouldn't have otherwise had without him. So whether you end up working with him on solar or construction projects, I absolutely cannot recommend Anthony enough. He restored my belief in humanity again (not an exaggeration). Both my husband and I credit him to blessing our lives during one of the most stressful times of our lives. Thank you, Anthony!!!!!!

Eddie showed up PROMPTLY at 8:30am within the time window promised (8:30am to 9am). His job was to install a gas water heater. He's the owner of H2O plumbing. Eddie was courteous and super helpful in explaining why our old unit was dying and the ins/outs of the new unit. The job was a little over 2 hours to install the hot water heater as well as install the new gas lines, water lines, and vents. My personal inspection of his installation was a good one. There was no funny looking welds, pieces left over, stains, fingerprints, odd "mickey-mouse" type installation work. The hot water heater LOOKS like it belongs in it's spot and is functioning great! Eddie also does the normal plumbing, gas, and sewage work and I plan on calling him directly in the future as honestly, our experience with other Valley-based plumbers is up there with used car sales. We've used other plumbers in the past and ALL of them walk in, quote you an astronomical price for relatively simple repairs, and then go on to "inspect" your house to scare you into more work. Eddie is NOT that type of plumber. He's very straightforward, and will tell you how it is. It's no wonder Lowes has him on this their approved contractor list. And he's a credit not only to that program, but a valuable resource if you need plumbing work directly.
