Ventured into HeBrews on a quick day getaway. Cute little place with old furniture, painted, beautiful mirrors and paintings/art every where. The gentleman behind the counter, I think the owner, was extremely friendly. I asked for an Americano and I must say was so hot I couldn't hold it for a good thirty minutes and was overly watered down. Once it cooled though I was able to sip on it throughout my 2 hour vacation. This place is a religious coffee shop with bible chapters placed throughout on art, wood coasters and such. It didn't bother me but one should probably know not to visit if that would be a bother. I am not religious but it didn't bother me. This is a clean place that serves pastries, coffees, italian ice, ice cream.... I felt my coffee was overpriced but I look at the menu and it seems pretty reasonable. I probably feel that way because I didn't enjoy my drink as much. That is ok, I will get something different next time. They do take credit/debit cards. Feels like a cash only place but you will be fine with the plastic. read more

This is an amazing place to get an excellent cup of coffee in the Boise ID area. The owner asked me what kind of coffee that I liked and I said I like my coffee to taste like coffee. I happened to be in Emmett for the Car Show, and since I was there early I didn't have time for my usual coffee at home. By the time I got there I was desperate to "lift the veil" (as all of you coffee lovers know) and ordered a large latte with an extra shot. The best cup of coffee I can remember ever having out. My friend and I stopped in for coffee. My friend is relocating to a new city and Emmett is on her short list. I had a delicious cup of cocoa for only $2. Hebrews has a beautiful small collection of old fashioned games and puzzles made with quality woos construction. I found a Soma cube! I also got to watch two young children playing chess. The mayor of Emmett was in the shop and we got to chat with him about relocation and living in Emmett! Hebrews is a wonderful coffee shop. read more

HeBrews makes the best coffee in the greater Boise area! They're super friendly and remember you every time you go in, and the shop itself has a fantastic, eclectic, old-town vibe to boot. This is a great place to simply socialize, has business meetings, have meetups, or just sit and enjoy a great cup of joe. And they'll make anything you ask for, and they have excellent gelato as well. We drive all the way from Middleton just to have coffee and a conversation with the owner. Great place, great people.
