This adorable male Shepherd was already a sweetheart loved by all, but he had a few bad manners. In the initial session Anton and I discussed the key behaviors I wanted to be addressed, pulling on the leash while walking, and my dogs barking reaction to strangers in the home. Not only have these behaviors been addressed but also so much more than I asked for, I have a much better relationship with my furry friend than ever before. I get so many great compliments about Lestat's behavior while we are in public, at restaurants, and at the dog park. When strangers are invited into the home now, Lestat will lay quietly in his SPOT until released. I love that Anton explains the why behind each skill learned. Each of the previous trainers made me believing that in order to see any good come from training, I needed to be aggressive with my dog and I felt uncomfortable and discouraged... THEN I MET SERGIO! Sergio started with an in depth phone call in which I told him a bit about my dog and our experiences with training. Right away, he eased my mind that training is meant to be fun and enjoyable for both the dog and owner. He then scheduled a free meet and greet in our home so we could decide if we like the way our dogs reacted to him. Both our heelers loved him! They thought he was so fun! He gave us a few pointers and then set up our first official training session to get to work. We had our first training about 2 weeks ago, and let me tell you I am seeing changes in both my dogs already! Initially we had planned to only do training for our 2 year old being that he is the more reactive one, but Sergio still made sure to include our 5 year old who is a bit anxious and timid so he wasn't feeling left out. Sergio worked with us and our dogs showing us where we can do better and how we can communicate more effectively with our boys. We have instilled his training in bits throughout the day since our dog training and our one dog is growing less anxious and timid to confident, and our other dog is starting to pick up on behavior that receives reward over behavior that makes the fun go away. David has been amazing working with my dog Max already within a week there has been beautiful…read moreresults that I didn't even think would be possible. I had originally started the process of working with Bulletproof but their approach was more negative but I thought that was the only option for my dog because he seemed like he had no other way. But in one week David was able to get my dog who previously attacked male bigger dogs- to be able to be in a space with them with no fights, and even listening and being excited to listen. He has used positive training methods, and didn't even need to muzzle him or e collar him. Previously by other local trainers that was what I was told was the only option for my dog. David has gotten max to already be comfortable in a environment with large dogs even males which typically max would attack. David has been incredibly dedicated and even excited to show my dogs progress, constantly updating me knowing I've been worried because this is a new experience for me and my dog. And this whole time he has set my fears and anxieties regarding my aggressive dog at ease more than I ever thought was possible! He has been available constantly for me, and has updated me even at night and shown me every bit of Max's progress. Even has been focusing on helping to set my anxiety aside and help me learn to be calm and not trigger my own dogs. This has been a amazing experience already and I cannot thank David enough! Each time we pull up Bonzai starts whimpering in excitement to get out and let the fun begin. While caring for my pup I always get updates photos and videos on a daily basis - I love getting to see the fun even when I can't be there. Our family recently rescued another puppy. The dynamic between the two dogs was challenging. However our biggest concerns were his anxiety and related destructive behaviors. After a private training session, David and I decided a 15 day board and train was the best way to set a new foundation for Tucker and allow him and Bonzai to bond further. Upon their return home, there was an immediate difference in their energy. My nervous pup was now more calm and confident. There was also a noticeably stronger bond between the two pups. Since boarding, we've had another private session (included in the board and train) to teach me how to reinforce and continue to build on their new skills. I always worried about leaving town and could not wait to get home even though our neighbors would stop in to check on our dog while we were away. Not any more now that we can count on Sabrina. From the very beginning when she sends you the questionnaire that includes all sorts of detailed questions so that nothing will be missing in case of need to the text message she requests and responds to once you've arrived home we know that leaving our dog in her care is something we can do without the slightest concern. When we are out of town she visits twice per day, walking Chili our lab/pit girl, and even taking her to the dog park! We joke that Chili likes it when we go out of town because she enjoys her visits from Sabrina so much! Sabrina is very knowledgeable about dogs as well. When Chili developed a strange skin problem that was not responding to anything from the vet Sabrina recommended adding an item from the kitchen pantry to Chili's diet and now about 2 months later the skin problem is gone. Sabrina is absolutely reliable, extremely organized and professional, very responsive to emails and texts, and just in general is an uncommon and highly valuable resource. I just don't encounter many people out there in the world who are as reliable and committed to their work as Sabrina. When we return home from a 2+ week vacation Chili is calm and happy. Not sure what else we could hope for...other than to be able to take Chili with us everywhere. In the meantime, Sabrina is a terrific resource, and we are very thankful to have found her.
