When I arrived to pick him up, they suddenly told me the bill was $106 instead. The employee even admitted that THEY made a mistake with the quote. I explained that customers should not be forced to pay for the company's error, but instead of honoring the quoted price, they gave me the manager's number and told me to call. I texted multiple times and received absolutely no response. Meanwhile, my dog was essentially being held until I paid the higher amount. I had no choice but to pay the extra money just to bring my pet home. Mistakes happen, but good businesses take responsibility for them. Happy Pet's Palace chose not to. The lack of accountability, poor communication, and refusal to honor their own quoted price was incredibly unprofessional. I would strongly caution others to get EVERYTHING in writing before leaving their pets here.

We sent him for in house training for 2 weeks and we couldn't believe the difference! She also changed his diet a little and added some aromatherapy spray for when he is in his high anxiety state. He used to be a total spaz around meal times. Now he waits, laying calmly for my "Break: command to eat his food. She is worth every penny....However, if you, the owner, are not willing to put in the work/time/love to truly follow through with all the things she sets up for the betterment of your dog, then you will fail your dog. It would be like hiring the Supernanny to come fix your children but then not follow through with any of her recommendations. Trust me when I say, when you get your dogs back to their own environment, they will try to regress - it takes consistency and effort to undo all of their usual behavior routines and they will test you. I will say that if you stick to it, really stick to it...it will pay off. We had workmen throughout the day this week - yard maintenance guys, pool guy, and a fridge repair man and Henry tried to do his normal thing but followed my pack leader commands and directions and gave into peace and relaxation. I f you have identified a problem with your dog that you want to fix, you owe it to them to do the work. Otherwise, you are setting them up for failure and you cannot blame the dog or Dianne. Albeit, our dog is incredibly spoiled and we love to see him happy (as most dog owners do), so choosing a daycare place was quite a task for us. We had heard so many great things about K9 Resorts, so we took our dog there, hoping all would go well... and it did... almost too well. For one, our pup, Hagrid, hates leaving and has now taken to throwing minor temper tantrums when it's time to get him. Second, when we park the car to drop him off, he goes beserk wanting to get in there and play. Third, the staff are so lovely and communicative that even on his overnight stays, we rest easy knowing he's having a blast.
