I tried their New Yorker sandwich and it was gigantic! Not only was it gigantic, but it was gigantic in flavor as well. Everything tasted fresh and of high quality. Way too expensive. me and my friend went here. we ordered four sandwiches, two for us and and 2 for my mom and her mom and it was 83 dollars. it was $70, we got three drinks so it was $73, and then they forced us to tip $10 so the total was $83, way too expensive and are sandwiches didn't come for like 10 minutes after they were ready so they were soggy. The place was surprisingly clean though the tables were very dirty and the lights were going out. The food was pretty good so I'll give them a couple stars for that but that's basically it. Not a very good experience. if you're willing to pay $83 on a couple sandwiches then go ahead but I do not recommend. read more

I haven't been to a Heidi's in years and I was so excited when I found out there was still a location in Brighton. The food is just as good as I remembered. I got the Country Egg Salad on Sourdough and added Cheddar cheese. It's a good size sandwich and it was very filling. The egg salad was plentiful and well seasoned. The side of coleslaw was fresh and had just the right amount of dressing and the pickle was cold and garlicky which is my favorite way to have pickles. I also got a Blueberry Hand Pie which I've never had from Heidi's before and it was absolutely delicious. The crust on the hand pie was flaky and buttery and the blueberry filling was not too sweet and appeared to be homemade with fresh blueberries which was a nice touch. I'm a big fan of their fresh ingredients and large portions. The service was alright and although it took a few minutes for the staff to realize I was there (it wasn't very busy when I stopped by around 2pm on a Sunday), the two women working behind the counter were very friendly and I got my food very quickly. The ambiance was alright but most of the tables were dirty with crumbs and other spilled food so I had to wipe down my table and chair before sitting down. Also the prices were a bit high and I paid almost $19 for one sandwich and the hand pie -- no drink or chips. I really hope to be back to this location sometime soon and I hope they don't close this location like they did to the one in Parker. read more

Lady at Heidi's tried to kill me. Went into Heidi's today for a sandwich. Asked for lettuce and tomato on my sandwich, then informed her that I have a severe cucumber allergy and asked her to nit use any utensils that have touched cucumber. Got home and my sandwich had lettuce and cucumber on it; no tomato. Thankfully one of the cucumber slices was sticking out of the side of the sandwich so I didn't have to bite into to find out. I have an Epi pen at home, but with a heart condition I'd be choosing between anaphylaxis or a heart attack. Went back and the kid that was there was really apologetic. I really liked the turkey sandwich, and my first time in the young man behind counter was so helpful and friendly. The second time the sandwich was really good and the girl behind counter ok. Yesterday the sandwich was good, the salad was not a $9 salad. I even had to ask for the slice of bread that comes with the salad. Ordered two Ruben sandwiches. One, without cheese, due to lactose intolerance food allergy. Received two sandwiches with melted cheese. It took an extended period of time to have the sandwiches prepared. As a result, the sandwiches were not deconstructed onsite to verify that cheese wasn't present on one sandwich. Therefore, after arriving home, I have a sandwich saturated in melted cheese for a person with lactose intolerance. The receipt was crumbled up and tossed in the trash by the cashier, not sure why that process is followed? Regardless, I paid for a sandwich that is uneatable. The cashier should spend more time listening to customer's needs and less time scolding us on the small, medium, large differences on a Ruben with pastrami (instead of corned beef) and stop throwing away the customer's receipt, actually give the receipt to the customer. We lived nearby for 6 years until we moved away last year. Today we were passing through and stopped again and it has went to crap. There were 3 employees, a hefty young man in a cap, a blue eyed girl with red hair, and a smaller kid I think they called him David. The place was dirty and had 1 table eating and two couples ordering. We waited our turn to order and eventually the cap guy asked the girl where David was at? She said he's in the back. Cap guy hollered at David to come out and help. David yelled back "No!". So eventually the girl finished with the other orders then took our order and started making our food. David wandered out of the back texting on his phone. He did a few minor tasks in between texts, alternating between handling his phone and kitchen items. We got our food and tried to find a clean table but they were all dirty. So we sat at the cleanest dirty table and ate and watched David goof off. He went and sat down at a dirty table and swept the food crumbs off onto the floor with his bare hands but didn't clean it with a rag or cleaner. I hope he isn't allowed to handle food with those hands. Then sat there and texted some more. The other two workers stayed hooked up and kept working in spite of this idiot dragging down the team. Sorry, but Brooklyn it ain't. Maybe Brooklyn-esque. My Reuben tasted very good, but it had the usual amount of meat that most chain sandwich shops use. My potato salad side was ok. My wife's turkey on her sandwich had a mushy mouth feel. Nice looking restaurant inside with comfortable seating. You stand in line and order at the high counter from one of the sandwich makers. They have lots of choices on the menu and even their breakfast items are served all day. It is an easy off/on from I-76 and is one of many food choices at this exit all strung along the perimeter road for the shopping center. The menu is huge, almost overwhelmingly large so it took us a minute to look everything over and decide what we wanted. The people working there were very nice and patience with us and walked us through how they do everything. I ended up getting the fresh mozzarella with turkey added and my friend got the Cajun turkey with avocado. We sat and our food was brought out to us. Both sandwiches were very good!
