First visit. SO glad I found it! Got the Hell's Kitchen sammich which is a egg salad sammich wih bacon, avocado, and cajun sauce! Oh, I usually don't take it at face value when restaurants tell me something is going to be spicy but I was wrong this time! It's got a really nice kick to it. Love it. Found a bug in my food... customer service was awful. They're more interested in talking to each other than the customer. Had to yell to get their attention and then they didn't apologize for ignoring a customer. Absolutely nothing special about the sandwiches. My husband and I were so impressed the first time we visited Heidi's. We were about to close on our house and were so excited that we would be able to ride our bicycles to a great deli. The sandwiches are OK, but definitely not worth the price. My husband and me ordered sandwiches tonight and were absolutely shocked that it was $5 more than we have always paid before. $32 for 2 sandwiches and we never order drinks and get the free side?! That's a bit excessive. Plus, the service is so insanely slow. It gets slower and slower every single time we go there. They hire very young people who work at a snails pace. I literally watched one guy work in slow motion making a sandwich tonight. We rarely go there anymore because we both moan and groan at the thought of the extremely slow service and how expensive it is. I called in my order ahead of time and no one greeted me when I walked in and after waiting in line for a few minutes, I finally asked where I go for my order I called in. I walked in, had never been before, and was looking for a bagel and a coffee. 4 employees were working on online orders, 1 employee was helping another customer, and no one spoke to me. An employee walked over and asked if I had an order, I said no, she then proceeded to walk away and sort silverware. I waited for 5 minutes with no one speaking to me. I ended up leaving. read more

No joke I come here just about every single day. I have been going here through different managers and different employees, the amazing and fresh quality is always the same! I highly recommend Heidi's over your typical fast food sandwich shop. You pay for what you get here, the wide variety of ingredients and bread they use is not the type you can just go out and find anywhere. They really do a spectacular job and stand by their work. At first blush, this chain should be great. But it's downfall is the same as many other chains, lackluster service, delivered by underpaid youngsters without a freakin' clue. And, as has been noted by other Yelpers, the bread is WAY TOO THICK. Don't get me wrong, if this bread was this ultimate delicious bread experience, then I would be all too happy to have a couple of nice thick slices enfolding my sammy. But it ain't all that great, and usually stale, to boot. SO LAY OFF THE BREAD, PEOPLE. But my main complaint about this place has to do with fixin's, specifically, TOMATOES. Why does the sandwich maker feel it's OK to slap any ol' slice of green, torn up crap on my sandwich? I know from years of experience, to demand three or four slices of fresh-sliced toms, no heels, cores or green. But, despite this admonishment, they try to slap that garbage on there anyway, EVEN THOUGH I'M STANDING RIGHT THERE. So I have to tell 'em again, and sometimes 3 or 4 times before they get it right. AAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will say that their chicken salad is meaty, with just the right amount of mayo, not drowning in the shit. But you have to pay extra for cheese, and it's one measly slice. All in all, hit or miss, mostly a miss. read more

Food decent but warming the corned beef up in a micro? Slaw was just ok and barely served cold. My italian bread with poppyseeds was decent but I was served an end on one end and the middle piece on the other. Lots of burned out bulbs inside and the towel dispenser in the men's room has graffiti tagged on it. A little maintenance here would go a long way. This location was in receivership and closed for a month or so and is now reopened. At least the pickle was tasty. Overall a solid 3. You won't get sick here and it is a change from the nearby selections of Subway, Taco Bell, Chick-fil-a, and McD's, but nothing to go out of your way to try. There is still a staffing problem here too - after my order three servers were chatting right in front of waiting customers. read more

Literally the worst deli food I've ever had. Subway would have been better (and I hate subway). I just ordered on door dash, I was excited as I thought a smaller "Brooklyn deli" would be good. Nope! The French dip sandwich was smashed at the bottom of the bag and very dry, I couldn't finish it. The meatball sandwich was smashed too, and without the cheese it was to come with (chose provolone), and the Rueben was (you guessed it) very dry as well with no thousand island (sandwich description on site includes thousand island). The included "sides" are actually small condiment cups with coleslaw or potato salad. Hardly worth the $10 price on each sandwich. My friend and I were looking for some place to have dinner when I spotted this in the mall area and suggested we try it out. We arrived just as they were closing up but the nice young employees didn't mind letting us Ryder and eat while they did their side work. I like the way the food is free of nitrates, cruelty and pesticides. The prices were reasonable and the choices were awesome. I had an egg salad sandwich with lots of salad stuff on it and a side of potato salad that wasn't too bad along with an iced green tea. Jo had a roast beef sandwich on sur dough that was probably some of the nicest rare meat I've seen. It was tasty and the portions were just right. I had written a previous review that I felt ripped off with the Gluten Free sandwich that was itty bitty for $15 a few years back. Well, it's been 2 years and decided to give this place another chance and what a difference!! They have gone back to a larger portion for the GF sandwich and although still pricey for a meal at $15 I think it was good and worth it! I would recommend this place it's good and clean, staff was very friendly and will be returning. Thanks for making that change! The staff is always willing to tell you which is the freshest and softest bread and to walk you through the menu. That's how we discovered the "Transplanted New Yorker." This isn't New York, this is Brighton, Colorado, Folks, but this is a pretty good sandwich shop with the meat generously loaded. Most of the food is pretty good. The weekday staff is great! Professional and very friendly. The same can't be said about the weekend staff. The weekend staff is a bunch of young slow working rude teenagers who act like they are doing you a favor. Heidi's is also way over priced. For a meal with no upgrade to cost $15 is ridiculous. I absolutely LOVE this place. My husband and I are vegetarians and it's sometimes difficult to find healthy places to eat. It's especially difficult because most places either have fried fish or fried shrimp. Heidi's sandwiches are so fresh tasting and the bread is absolutely delicious. My husband always gets the crab cake sandwich but he says the Cajun sauce is a little spicy. Which shocks me because he loves spicy foods. I always get the veggie and im never disappointed.
