While having a short connection/layover, this was one of the only options in my gate area I will say that from the outside this deli does look appealing. The signature sandwiches all sounds pretty good. The staff isn't the most friendly, but I imagine working in a busy airport with stressed customers everyday wouldn't make me all too friendly either The food was fine. Having had great New York deli many times, this was an interesting display. Instead of having the sand which pilled with meat in between some bread it had too much bread and just a little bit of meat. It was also confusing that I guess the sandwich came with some original lays potato chips, but we didn't know so we purchased chips at the counter Some tips: The Turkey avocado sandwich was pretty good, but again, it's way too much bread. My go-to every time I touch down at DIA. I prefer the cold Italian over the hot. Served on a nice plump hoagie bread. Although I enjoyed my sandwich, I couldn't help but to feel like something was missing. Tasteless and unfriendly. I ordered the Brooklyn breakfast sandwich that is fried eggs and pastrami. They asked if a bagel was OK because they were out of croissants (the manu doesn't specify the bread). I asked if it could be on regular bread, as there were mountains of it. I was told that the bread is only for lunch. That was confirmed in a conversation with the prep cook with the mountain of bread between us. Never mind she was making a pastrami sandwich in that bread at the same time she was making my breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The bagel was basically bagel-shaped bread, so it was OK in the end, I guess. The pastrami was tasteless (even a piece on its own). It was tough and chewy. The egg was tasteless. I almost didn't eat here because of the 2.5 star Yelp rating but when I saw that their bread is homemade, something told me to roll the dice & give this place a try...and I'm so glad I did - their food is wonderful!! The lady taking my order said their best hot sandwich is the Philly Cheesesteak ($15.70) and man, was she right! It was one of the best Philly's I've ever had. It comes with potato salad, chips or coleslaw and I got the potato salad which was awesome too. Looks like Yelp got this place wrong! After going to their website and reviewing the menu I marched the long way to the end of b concourse from C. Their actual menu, and prices, are nothing like the website, which does state it is the menu for only this location. Regardless, because of the march and time constraints, I ordered the Italian which consisted of maybe 2 oz of a meat pile (not joking) which may or may not include all the claimed meats. The cheese is one slice on a 8" bun, the lettuce was one leaf of romaine, two very thin slices of tomato and two single thin sliced onion rings. I mean a single ring, not a slice of onion. This abomination cost me $19. When I asked for more tomato and onion, I was rewarded with attitude and one more thin slice of tomato. No onion as I guess onions are rare and expensive in Denver. As others have reported, I had to request my pickle and grab a bag of chips off the counter. There is absolutely no reason to visit this place read more

The lady is literally drowning by herself and the line is just getting longer. There are people in the back but they don't try and come to help her at all. The only thing worse than my breakfast sandwich was the customer service and the attitudes of the people who work here. I mean damn! Throwing bags down, no communication and completely got an attitude when I asked about the sauce! ‍ Also seemed completely unsanitary. Flies just buzzing all around so that's cool.... The idea of a deli sandwich on bread made fresh sounds great when you get off a plane. I stood in line, placed my order, asking for my Reuben without the 1000-Islands dressing. I then waited in line at the register to get my sandwich and pay. First off, they asked me to pay before I had my sandwich. I paid and waited. While waiting, I observed the maker put the dressing in my sandwich. I guess he realized his mistake because he looked up, saw me looking at him and remade the sandwich. When I finally got my sandwich, I made sure to inspect it to make sure nothing else was wrong before I walked away. People make mistakes, and I'm only mentioning this because this is the third time I've eaten at this Heidi's while passing through DEN and there were mistakes the previous two times as well. We were excited for the yummy, rye bread, only to be told the rye bread wasn't any good. We got our sandwiches, didn't get the pickles :( and ate it on super hard wheat bread. With a relatively long layover in Denver, I walked to my gate - B60. If you know this airport - the B stands for BFE. By the time you get here, you've passed every single restaurant you'd like to eat at yet still hold our hope for something familiar Enter, the Brooklyn Deli. As I approached, I thought to myself, now what's the rent on an outpost like this and why are they here? I knew immediately as the employees seemed rather miffed about something I couldn't guess. After waiting for 5 minutes under the "order here" sign, I ordered a Brooklyn dog. I mean, who does hotdogs better than New York? Maybe Chicago - but that's a whole other debate and then pizza has to get involved. These people aren't very nice like the reviews state but I didn't care - I was hungry. I got my hot dog and I am sad to say, it was so bad looking I couldn't expose it's shame via photo. I'll do my best to paint you a picture - it was a 1/8 lb dog, with four slits cut nearly through it - and then charred to a brown crisp. It was so burnt, it looked like a trauma victim from a house fire. I didn't know whether to eat it or apply First Aid. The bun was badly burned as well but I was so hungry I didn't complain - just let it go. I realized that if I complained it might have gotten worse as the employees there do no look like you'd want to engage in a culinary discussion over the proper way to prepare a hot dog. I didn't have much time & needed some food STAT! Heidi's was near my gate so I figured I'd give her a try. Location: somewhere by gate 64 or 65 with united airlines. Not too many other choices in the area. The line was long, but I was hungry.... It was pretty quick for me to get serviced, the lady who assisted me, I had a really hard time understanding. I had to ask her to repeat herself a few times before I was able to answer her. If you don't want your sandwiches made to order, there's a quick stop area where you can pick up salads, ready made sandwiches, fruit & water. I ordered the Reuben sandwich (ya girl loves sauerkraut) You have a choice of meat: corned beef or pastrami? Pastrami for me pls! The lady at the cash register also was a bit difficult to understand and she was rushing to get everyone through so it's definitely an in&out place. The Reuben surprisingly was yummy! I would have loved more thousand island, there definitely wasn't enough spread but the bread was toasted perfectly, the meat wasn't overly dry & the flavor was definitely there. Also; with your sandwich you have a choice of chips, coleslaw or (I forgot what the last option was) but I chose chips... just your basic potato chips. I don't understand why they have this expansive menu and are not offering anything off of it in the middle of the day. I walked across the airport to grab a sandwich and when I was in line I was told they are not offering hot sandwiches, only premade burritos and premade sandwiches in the cold case. I found that to be irritating but since I spent 20 minutes hopping the tram and walking here I decided to grab a green chili burrito. I just had to try this place out after looking at the cute logo. It's located on the FAR end of Concourse B (all the way to the end, then into the side wing to the R, down the escalator, and about halfway down the satellite building). Service is really slow. To be honest, it must be tough running a sandwich operation. It's like Subway, but with way more different combinations. So there was a lineup, and it was a war zone out front. I ended up trying the Coney Island Reuben. It comes with a side dish of salad, coleslaw, or potato salad. I chose the coleslaw. It was literally the size of a cup of dipping sauce. Boy was that disappointing. The sandwich itself was quite decent, but I have no idea why they put the pickles (1/4 of one, cut in one long slice) on the outside of the sandwich. Not only did that make the wrapping + sandwich mushy over time (I was in a rush so it sat in the bag for 30 minutes), but the sandwich itself is cut in half, so the pickle is too big to put into 1 side. I ended up eating that first. The bread was fresh and crisp, and the meat was generous. However, it was a bit too salty. Overall it wasn't bad, but the lineup and the location mean that there are much better choices out there. read more

Stopped in even before Covid. Third trip through Denver. One out of three isn't bad never got my order the other two time's, after I paid.
