I've eaten at Snarf's before in the downtown area years ago and enjoyed their sandwiches so I figured I'd give the airport location a try. I ordered the Italian sandwich with all of the normal toppings (pickle, lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard and giardiniera) They were busy but the sandwich did not take too long, the bread was warm and toasty and it was packed with meat. My friend wanted a sandwich so we headed to Snarf's. It's a bit of a walk - across from gate A73. You go downstairs by gate A50 to access the walkway to it. There are other places nearby but we chose sandwiches. I ordered the BLT on white with toppings of mayo, mustard, hot peppers, lettuce, tomato, seasoning and oil. Skipped the onions and pickles. They called my order number and I picked up my sandwich. Servers were nice. The sandwich was moist and tasty. The hot peppers made it extra. I had a layover at the Denver Airport and stopped off at Snarf's for dinner. When I arrived there was quite a long line but it looked as though everything was being made fresh. When I got up to the counter I tried to order the Italian but it was sold out. I tried to order another sandwich but it was sold out as well, so I landed on the turkey and cheese. I added sprouts, tomatoes, pickles and peppers to my freshly toasted bread. The sandwich was a good size, came stuffed with ingredients and wrapped nicely for travel. The sandwich tasted fresh and was very filling. I tried to order a cup of soup to go with it but then again, all their soups were sold out. Since Snarfs Sandos is apparently the sole restaurant in this entire woebegone, god-forsaken armpit of the Denver Airport, we joined the obnoxious line, which queued at least fifteen ppl deep. $23.84 bought me: -A 7" toasted Prime Rib & Provolone on Multigrain. The meat was served cold, tasted gamey and the provolone wasn't even properly melted. The lettuce and tomatoes weren't crisp (as Snarfs website proclaims) and the best part of the abominable sando was the bread. -A small bag of Doritos. -A small Diet Pepsi. Behind the counter a trio of disinterested teenagers approached their tasks with the palpable excitement of professional grass growers or naval-pickers. This is my eighth trip to the Mile High City and I've YET to have a remotely fulfilling meal in this back-asswards depot! read more

I was here at the Denver Airport A Terminal by the Frontier Airline gates a couple of weeks ago. This place had caught my eye a few times and was on my radar to try. It was a nice clean place and there was one TV in there. They just so happened to have the hockey game on that I wanted to watch! That's how yummy their Sandwiches are. I can't quite put my finger on what's special about their sandwiches but hopefully you will go try it yourself. The bread is really really great! Not sure the sandwich meat they use but it's kinda a couple notches above the other sub sandwich outlet offerings. All the veggies are fresh and crisp. I'm on a mission to try every sandwich in the future. I would love to be able to have the option of ordering ahead via phone or by using the app. Might be my shortcoming - it was difficult to get my location to recognize me at DIA. We eat here often since I use Frontier Airlines and this is their terminal. We love Snarf's sandwiches: prime rib, Italian, roast beef, corned beef, and turkey. All made with good fresh bread, lots of veggies and proper proportion to optimize taste. We even pick up sandwiches to eat in the car for the ride to the slopes. Oh my. After a long flight my wife and I stopped by for a sandwich. This Snarf's is at the Denver Airport. We ordered a beef and provolone. One bite in and it tasted bad - it was OFF. My wife spit out a piece of gristle. A peek into the sandwich showed discoloration on the meat. Not regular shades of nice beef - but shiny orange & a little turquoise. My dear kind wife went to the counter expecting a quick replacement sandwich. Nope. The girl at the counter - once she got off her phone to pay attention - refused. The young man who made the questionable item said it looked fine to him. He said that is the way it comes. The girl at the register basically made fun of my wife sarcastically saying (and I quote) "Maybe another store can cook it how you want." Is a $14 sandwich worth shaming customers?? After fighting for about 15 minutes - the store reluctantly gave us a refund. No hint of an apology. We have enjoyed - nay - "loved" Snarf's in the past - but this was inexcusable. When you reluctantly pay upwards to $15 for a 7 inch tuna sub, you certainly would not expect it to be the worst tuna sub you've had in your entire life. When you ask, do you have tuna, salads, and you're told "no, we only have tuna subs", you might expect the person behind the counter to ask if you want that hot or cold?" And if you have been eating tuna subs for more years than the person behind the counter has been living, and having been asked each of those times "You want that cold, right?", You would surely expect this to be the case. And when you brought it back to simply question this, not looking for your money back , but maybe an apology, you wouldn't expect to be scolded for not reading the sign. Wow this sandwich spot exceeded my expectations. Over at the airport at Gate A United area, we wanted a quick bite before our flight. I had the Italian and hubby got the pastrami. Both tasted marvelous. Toasted bread with the right amount of salami and pepperoni and cheese. I had the works which also had wax peppers and it all flowed so well with every bite. Around $12 for the sandwich but they're big. I could only eat half but that's great for me so I could eat it on the plane! I miss great sandwich spots like these... wish we had them in Hawaii.
