This is a cute little local diner, with some major standouts. The cinnamon roll was fabulous- yeasty, with a lovely icing that was nice and thick. It took 10 minutes after our meal came out, so I think they are cooked individually. If I were to return, I would try their coffee and just have a cinnamon roll. It was that good. The biscuit and gravy was interesting as well- the biscuit seemed to be made from a similarly yeasty dough, and the gravy had big chunks of sausage links in it. Eggs and the sourdough toast were good as well. The hash browns were the only part of the meal we didn't care for- if I were to return I would try the other potato option instead.

The Cafe's version of a Philly with added jalapeños! Soft bread, stringy cheese though. Was hoping for a more gooey situation. Good.

Friendly service right off the bat. The place was clean and right off a cute little shopping strip with old buildings. It's a cafe with a sort of diner menu. They do brunch along with standard lunch and dinner options. Besides aioli being on a lot of items, I was fairly pleased to see a nice selection of food to choose from. I ordered a Philly, and my husband ordered the Chicky (chicken sandwich). We also got a basket of tortilla chips and a cup of green chili to dip them in. The food was diner food--greasy, cheesy, carb heaven. A bright spot was my Philly and I got them with onion rings which were perfect. The fries didn't have any salt, which we were sort of surprised by, but easily fixed. The Chicky was not a show stopper, but at least a nice alternative to beef. Sodas were slightly on the weak watered down side, but overall, it was a nice stop for lunch before an afternoon perusing the shops. Come here for a friendly atmosphere that's clean and has clean bathrooms!

My favorite breakfast entree is chicken fried steak and I think this one is in my top 5. The breading is not too thick or too crispy and the steak was moist! The gravy is just as important and they also got it right. I scarfed it down in less than 5 minutes, bite after bite, not even saying a word! I took one bite of the eggs and potatoes and was done since I didn't enjoy either, but at least the chicken fried steak was great! I'll return to try the meat skillet and breakfast burrito. The service was okay. I sat at the counter and it took a while to get my order. I wasn't checked on, just acknowledged when I asked for a box and when the bill came. I placed the card on the counter, waited, went to the restroom, waited some more before my card was ran. Maybe they were just really busy. Or I give off bad vibes! It wasn't horrible but wasn't fast and friendly either. I was fine with it since it was an in and out lunch for me.

TL;DR: average cafe with good service but underwhelming food Ordered: - French toast with sausage and eggs (3/5): average sausage and eggs. Below average French toast that just felt tough to eat - Migas (3/5): similar to a chilaquiles but not exactly as the crunchy parts weren't tortilla chips just chip strips (?). Also the 'green chili' sauce was actually orange and not spicy in the least. Overall, I'd come if someone wanted it but I won't be back for breakfast dishes on my own as there are plenty of other options in the area

The pancakes were made with a ton of care as they are very thick and filling, i couldn't even finish all of mine there. Eggs and bacon were great as well. Service was spectacular, but the silverware and floor of the restaurant could've been cleaner. The total for this entire table with 2 cups of coffee was about $37. The ambiance of the restaurant was busy around 1 o'clock, but comfortable. They also played fantastic music.

How is and where is the parking? I am on crutches so finding a place easily accessible is important.

Christopher, unfortunately they don’t have designated parking. Street parking which is 1st come, 1st served or you can park across the street in an open lot for businesses on that side of the street.

We were in CO for the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club specialty and wanted something light to munch on. We generally never eat breakfast, but needed a little something to get us through the afternoon until dinner since we wouldn't have time for lunch. Wolf and Honey came up during my research and we thought why not? It looked super cute and the reviews were solid. I'm really glad we stopped by! We entered through the rear entrance, since that was where our car was parked, but the front entrance was nice as well. The interior was chic and inviting. You order at the counter and take a table number for your food. The toasts looked really good, so I went with the strawberry pistachio while my husband went with the avocado. For our drinks, I went with an iced espresso honey lavender with oat milk, while my husband went with an iced teddy bear latte with oat milk. Both of the lattes were strong without being bitter, and delightfully smooth. The toasts, however, were the stars of the show. Toasted to perfection, with a generous amount of toppings and drizzles of balsamic and honey for mine and hot honey for my husband's. For only $10 each too, what a good price point. We sat in comfy chairs by the window, basking in the morning sun, indulging in our toasts while sipping on our lattes. When we finally finished our brunch, we bussed our own tables, putting the plates and utensils in a bin by the ordering counter. I noticed that Wolf and Honey also offered happy hour cocktails, which unfortunately we did not have time in our schedule to partake in, but will need to the next time we visit Brighton. I'd definitely return to Wolf and Honey, especially for their delicious sourdough toasts!

Promptly approached by server Harumy, quickly provided with a hot carafe of coffee and condiments. The ambiance is clean, cheerful, and inviting. There is music but it isn't too loud. I ordered the mini-monkey bread (pictured), essentially a biscuit dappled with cinnamon sugar streusel. I didn't love it; I thought it tasted too salty. Still, I finished it so it couldn't have been that bad! I ordered the Breakfast Quesadilla (eggs, chiles, cheese, onions, drizzled with avocado cream and served with red salsa), which was very good. Harumy checked on me, and brought the check promptly. You pay at the counter, not directly to the server. I would have given 4.5 stars but Yelp doesn't enable this, so I rounded up to 5 stars. Definitely give Bluebird Cafe a try!

I had to ask the hostess to ask our waitress to bring our drinks because we never saw our waitress again after placing our order. She brought the waters and 1 minute later our food arrived lukewarm. The potatoes were not cooked. We were never checked on again. Then the check came, but the extra bacon I ordered "to go" had not arrived. So she went to get that. We paid at the front with the hostess. It was an extra $5 for 2 pieces of bacon. $2.50 per slice. Is that inflation or price gouging? This is the first time in my life I have never left a tip. I'm usually a really good tipper. And I feel bad about it, but I also want to be taken care of in order to give a tip for good service. This was not good service and the food was mediocre. Would not return.

Holy cow that was a horrible diner…read more The owners were very non-chalant about seating us. We originally sat near the service door to the kitchen and heard a lot of complaining when people went in and out of the door. Had to ask to be reseated. We were not quickly attended to, never received our water in a timely manner, but we did get our coffee which was incredibly watered down and flavorless. (Granted, we got our coffee quickly.) Had two different dishes: one was their "sampler" of sorts, and another was an omelette smothered in gravy. The sampler had decent eggs - the hashbrowns were food service hashbrowns that were stale and not very crispy and chewy - typical food service grade: "acceptable". Ham and sausage were incredibly bland, bacon was just salted bacon with zero flavor. Had a waffle that disintegrated as soon as I put butter and syrup on it - completely turned to mush, had a raw consistency. The pancakes were the only decent thing on the plate, and it's clear they were Bisquick. Omelette didn't have layered meat and cheese, it was all whipped together - very very lazy. Overall, very disappointing. Cost was only thing decent about the restaurant. Lots of older people in the diner, which tells me "salty and bland". The clientelle of the restaurant usually represents how the food will be, and for hospital level service food, this was spot on. Now, I realize restaurants are struggling to survive. But if you're struggling and you simply don't care, that's a different story. Hit up Moonlight Diner off of Tower. Longer drive, but worth the trip. If you're really hungry, stop by McDonald's instead.

The main attraction seems to be the all-you-can-eat pizza buffet on Tuesday nights, which some day, I hope to try it. Unfortunately, their regular menu is "the standard". The bar food offerings are basic at best--warm appetizers often arrive cold, the burgers lack flavor, and their beverage menu is hit or miss. I was especially surprised to find that they don't serve brandy, which feels like a slight omission for a well stocked bar. That said, I am one to always give second (maybe third and fourth) chances so on our recent visit, I ordered the Southwestern Steak Sandwich and it was a pleasant surprise--the sirloin was authentic (aka good cuts, not gristle) and cooked to my specifications (medium). The ancho chipotle sauce has a nice flavor which also pairs well with the house salad. So kudos to the waitress for allowing me to order a sampling of dressings for it (the salad). I am not converted just yet but will try for another visit and the pizza buffet. We all have goals in life, right?

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't dirty or unkempt in any way, but it had that old, hole-in-the-wall kind of feel that can either be a good thing or a bad thing. Well, it was a good thing. I'm so glad I gave this place the benefit of the doubt! The server (Jamiee, I think) was very friendly and attentive. I love Mexican food, and I'm kinda picky when it comes to the little things like sauces, chips, guacamole, salsa, etc. For me, that's usually a pretty good barometer for how the rest of the food is going to be. I ordered chips, salsa, and a side of guacamole to start. The chips were homemade, and soooo freaking good -- thick and crunchy, but still had a light texture. The guacamole was absolutely top shelf -- creamy but not runny, and just the perfect amount of spices, tomatoes and onions. The salsa had a decent kick, but nothing crazy. It was really good, if not a smidge on the runny side. The star of the show here was the smothered burrito. I ordered mine with carne asada. The sucker was huge, and loaded to the rim of the plate with a green chile sauce that was just, well, ridiculous. The melty cheese on top, with tomatoes, lettuce, and a respectable dollop of sour cream on the side, was a full-on party for my tastebuds. Why the 4 stars then, and not 5, you might ask? Well, the carne asada was a bit too charred for my liking. Just a few too many crispy/crunchy pieces for it to be perfect. The chunks that weren't crispy were super tender though. I just wanted more of that. Got a mango shake to go, made with hand-scooped ice cream (not soft serve). It tasted good but blended way too long, to the point of being runny. If I lived anywhere near here, I would 100% go back, not even a question.
