We come here maybe 2x a month for breakfast/lunch and we haven't had a bad meal here. Everything is made from scratch the food is fresh and always presented nicely on the plate. They recently refurbished and it always clean and inviting. The servers are very sweet and nice too. Service is great here. Highly recommend Heidi's

3.5 stars. Some may pass this breakfast/brunch spot on the main street for decades, before chancing in. There's a lithe easy staff of great waitresses that seem to float by in black. The pine booths that dominate are nice - the distracting giant tv screens put in overhead to repetitively show videos of pancakes are not. Menu is strong but not huge. Perfect bacon and impressive fresh squeezed OJ. You can get a bottle of Coke, but if you order a Coke they'll bring Pepsi alas. Old established locals quietly fill the place - which is a sign of a good restaurant. Recommend a booth for long conversations over pancakes - especially as the pro staff won't bother you.

Tried to find a good breakfast spot and Heidi's is the good place for breakfast. I had the steak and eggs burrito with hash brown and it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and welcomed us. Erica was our server and she was very friendly and fast bringing our food. Love the painting on the walls. Please check out this restaurant! Mahalo.

I had the fruit crepe with Nutella and caramel latte, and I enjoyed both. My kids enjoyed the french toast and chicken teriyaki bowl. I liked that we were seated right away, the server took our orders shortly after being seated, and the food and drinks came out quickly. I would come back for their crepes

A few days ago, my friend and I had a most tasty breakfast here. Service was friendly, and the restaurant is light, bright and welcoming. And conveniently located in downtown Carson, so walkable if the weather is nice. My friend had bacon pancakes (they're apparently on a secret menu and come up on the bill as "cakes with fruit") and I had the veggie benedict. Everything was delicious and we hope to be back soon.

I haven't had Heidi's in years since I was growing up in Tahoe in the 70's & 80's. When I recently learned there was one in Carson City, I knew we had to try it. It's a popular place on weekends so, expect a bit of a wait, but the wait is worth it! We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with fantastic service in a nice clean and bright restaurant atmosphere. Their crepes were pretty epic as were my chilaquiles! They feed you huge portions so don't be surprised if you cannot finish! We've been back twice more since discovering this location. Enjoy!

Heidi's was just incredible! Such great diner dishes. We had a skillet and a wrap and both were very large. The veggie skillet (added chorizo) was the best option. The veggies were so perfect and the dish was such a great value. Can not wait to come back!

Food was excellent. Service was excellent. I got the California Omelette which was spinach, Monterrey Jack Cheese, and avocado. Wow! If you are in Carson City and looking for a breakfast joint... here it is.

If you're looking for a nice simple spot for breakfast or lunch in Carson City, check this place out! Heidi's is a nice, typical family restaurant that offers a variety of foods! My friends and I went to breakfast there and enjoyed going there. The staff are nice and friendly. I've been a few times and always have a pleasant experience. Food is good, comes out hot and ready to eat! Flavours are good and food is filling! The price is great and family friendly place. I'd recommend visiting for some good, simple dinning experience!

Every time I come here my mind is blown by the delectable food, attentive service and sweet ambiance. I don't know why I've never tried the Chilaquiles! This is probably the best Chilaquiles I've had in the reno/sparks/Carson area. The Chico's are fully coated in a lovely red sauce yet maintain a slight crispy center that is pure magic. Ask for the green sauce! In Sane. The NY Steak Oscar and eggs was delish too! Finally the traditional Benedict was superb. Excellent hollandaise sauce, too. I'm gluten free but often order the benes without the muffin 1but my daughter had it as is. Yummy!!

Heidi's is a perfect Carson City brunch stop! It's adorable, family owned, and always delicious! My family and I love coming here anytime we're passing through and our servers are always wonderful. For something sweet, I recommend the strawberry waffles. For something savory, the pan fried ham steak and eggs is fantastic!

Our server, sorry forgot your name, was helpful and able to answer our questions, we decided on a few items and our party of six shared them. We ordered two pizzas (pepperoni and a capitol combo), we got the pretzel, caesar salad, BBQ brewmaster plate and a few beers. First off the pizzas are delicious and easy choice for anyone who comes here, it will not miss. The bbq platter was also very good, the portions are not huge but each sausage was tasty. The pig wings were tender and flavorful with the hot honey sauce. The pretzel was also great and paired with the stone ground mustard from the bbq plate was excellent. The only item that I think I would change would be the Memphis wings, they were on the salty side for all of us, the flavor is there but a lil too salty, I think the hot honey sauce would have been a hit on those wings. We tried a few beers the lager, Juicy IPA and an amber ale. I skipped the lager, my dad enjoyed his brew. As for the other two, I found them to be refreshing with a nice balance of hops for each of them and a great companion to the dishes we ordered. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stop by.

Patty Melt - I was surprised my wife got this, but she enjoyed it. She did say it was very oily and messy. I forgot to try your homestyle spuds... Just means I need to come back. Ambiance - A good size dinner; see pictures. Cool decor. Semi open kitchen. Free standing, approximately two store fronts. Counter or table seating, all indoor. Plenty of mall parking. Open 7 days a week 6am to 2pm. Clean restrooms. Service - Just okay. It took a while for the waitress to acknowledge us. I know she was busy and I believe there were only two waitresses and one bus girl. But she literally walked by us 10 times without saying anything and with no eye contact, nothing. A simple, "I will be right with you" would have been nice. Once she got to our table, approximately 10 minutes later, it was a more positive experience. The one young bus girl is a hard worker and was nicer. Price - $24.20 + tip. Reasonably priced. Well in today's environment, it is inexpensive. Cash only (or checks); no credit or debit cards. They also have an incredible beer selection with well over 100 beers on the menu, so there's something for everyone. A word of advice make reservations if you can. The wait was nearly an hour and it's easy to see why. We started with the fry bread and the jalapeño bombs. The fry bread was delicious, but those jalapeño bombs were an absolute 10/10 and a must-order. We originally came for the prime rib, but unfortunately they had already sold out around 6 p.m., which was definitely disappointing. Thankfully, the food that did make it to our table erased that disappointment pretty quickly. We ordered the two-meat BBQ plate with ribs and brisket, and both were cooked to perfection. The meat was tender, smoky, and paired perfectly with their delicious BBQ sauce. We also tried the spicy pot pie, which was unlike any pot pie I've had before, in a good way. It reminded me of an enchilada baked inside a buttery, flaky crust, and it was fantastic. The service was equally impressive. I feel terrible that I can't remember our server's name because he absolutely deserves the recognition. He was friendly, attentive, and made our entire experience even better. Between the amazing food, outstanding service, and unique atmosphere, this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. In fact, it's probably the biggest reason I'd make the drive back to Carson City.

Food Unfortunately,…read morethe food was very disappointing. The ribs tasted stale and almost jerky-like, as if they had been sitting out too long or reheated multiple times. The basket of wings was cold in the middle and tasted as though they had simply been microwaved. They also tasted old and lacked freshness. The Jump Up and Kiss Me Chicken was overcooked and extremely dry. The flavor was just okay, but there was nothing particularly special about the dish. Service The service was very poor. Our waitress repeatedly rolled her eyes and barely checked on us to see if everything was okay. I had to repeatedly get up myself to ask for condiments, refreshments, and napkins. Management I was also disappointed with how the manager handled my concerns. After I explained our experience, her response was essentially, "Okay, I'll pass along your comments." She did not seem concerned or interested in making the situation better. Unfortunately, I understood why the service was so poor after speaking with the manager. A manager should set the standard for customer service, and in this case, I did not feel that there was much care or concern for the customers. I used to love going to Reds when they had the previous manager. He was always kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about the customers. The food was also delicious and tasted fresh. It's disappointing to see how much the experience has changed. I really hope management takes this feedback seriously because Reds used to be a place I genuinely enjoyed visiting.
