I do not live in the Houston area. I live in the Dallas area and I like to send my friends and family flowers from a local floral shop versus using the one 800 flowers who suck I have used the Heights floor shop before and every time I send flowers, I have had a great experience, however For my mom's 60th birthday I wanted to send her something fun and festive and what I saw online with something very vibrant party like but what she received was something very dull. The party is over and almost need to go in the trash. I complain to the floral shop and they try to reason with me and asking that I want them to make the arrangement over again or that I want half of my money back And be honest with you. I went head on and chose another floral shop that could give me what I want and I just took half of my money back from the Heights floral shop. I will never use them again. I have found another florist in the Houston area that can actually produce what is on their website. My problem with the Heights floral shop is if they couldn't replicate it then they should call me. I actually left a note in the comment section that if you do not have any of the pieces, please let me know what stood out about the photo. Was that the white vase with the candles on the outside made it pop and all the wonderful colors But the arrangement that my mom received was far from that it was a clear vase, which made the colors, a dull, it was smaller than the photo, and the flowers were nothing like the photo. The flowers were not vibrant and live and happy. They were dull, colorless and look like they came from the Walmart floral department. I could've easily gone to Kroger or H-E-B or Costco and got a better arrangement than what this Heights floral shot put together. I've been shopping with them for 15-20 years and I will never use them again. i'm assuming the quality of their care either gone down because of the economy, maybe they can't get a hold of flowers anymore, maybe the tariffs are putting a hold on their business or maybe it's under new management I have no idea, but what I do know is they usually never disappoint and this time, I was very disappointed I rate the heights floral shop a ZERO read more

This was my first time ordering with Heights Floral Shop and I ordered flowers for delivery for a birthday. They were beautiful and the flowers came on time in great condition. The only problem I would say is the image online make them look deceptively larger than they actually come (at least mine did). I ordered the deluxe size (a size up from the standard) and it came as a small bouquet, but the image online made it look large and overflowing in the vase. What I got looked smaller than the standard size (in my opinion). A bit disappointed for how much I paid and for what I was expecting it to look like. The silver lining is the flowers were fresh and beautiful! Edit- and now the bottom of the vase they gave just popped off. read more

Neither my wife nor I are particularly into flowers beyond thinking they are pretty. Of course, she likes to have some in the house and I always oblige, but it isn't something we think about. So, when it came time for our wedding, we chose them because my wife's mom and the retired owner are good friends. What we got were simply some of the most stunning floral arrangements we have ever seen. Even I was blown away. What was so amazing is that they took EVERYTHING into consideration. Our reception venue at Rice University was sort of a big, white space. Not only did they add color with the arrangement, but they created these tall structures on the table to give height. It looked beautiful AND it didn't block the view across the table because the space in between the arrangement up top and a handful of flowers floating in water at the bottom was clear glass. It was brilliant! The people were incredibly professional and they handled everything perfectly. We couldn't have been more pleased. read more

Went in to have some home arrangements made for our wedding; just wanted to spruce up the look of our house for guests. Placed 4 arrangement orders. They told me they'd get back to me on the big centerpiece as they didn't know if those flowers would be available due to demand. I called weekly with them telling me they'll get back to me. 2 weeks before my wedding, they confirmed the availability. We never received any notification or call to let us know our arrangements were ready for pick up the day agreed upon. Additionally, when my husband brought them home, the centerpiece was a few springs and was NOTHING like what we had showed Chuck and agreed upon. We ended up buying roses at Kroger to add to his "centerpiece" because it was so sad looking. I would not recommend this place and have not come back since. Of all days to let us down, surely our wedding day should not be it. What a waste of time and money since we met them on multiple occasions and set up a consult for the flowers we ordered.
