Their meat especially is top quality. There is no better meat market around. What really sets them apart however is their customer service. From the moment I walk in, I'm always greeted by the cashiers. And the butchers will answer 1000 questions to make sure the customer is satisfied. They just go above & beyond and you can tell they really care about the customer's experience, as well as the quality of their meat/products. I really appreciate excellent customer service when I see it, and that's definitely what you will receive here! I merely mentioned to my guy with the blue eyes that I was going to put my meat on skewers - he went ahead & did it for me without even mentioning it. I didn't realize it until later. That's real.

In the last couple of years I've seen a decline in their customer service. The employees, especially checkout, seem annoyed that you're there. Their bakery has also declined. I used to get their cakes for special occasions but the quality has become so hit or miss that I've stopped. The last carrot cake that I bought there seemed like they forgot some ingredients. The frosting was good but the cake was dense, tough and not at all sweet. It's taste and texture was more like cornbread than cake.
