Today was the second time in a month I purchased a Heinen's brand product from this location that was improperly packaged. The first was of vitamins: I bought a container of 30 Heinen's brand vitamins only to find 9 vitamins inside. Today, I bought Heinen's brand k-cups only to find one cup peeled open, with its contents all over the box. Thanks, Heinen's! The lesson: never buy Heinen's brand products. Otherwise, this location is ok. Staff is nice. UPDATE: it is political sign season, and the owner apparently likes to broadcast his political addenda to all passerby and customers. Totally distasteful and inappropriate. STAY FAR AWAY!

I can't get enough of the flowers at heinens! Always buy myself a new bunch when at the store

I grew up with my mom only shopping at heinens and it wasn't until I was on my own that I realized why she swore by that store. Not only are the people that work at heinens extremely nice and knowledgable about all the products, all the fresh produce is clean and fresh and doesn't go bad quickly like other grocery stores tend to sell. If the food does spoil after only two days or so, bring it back and they will refund you. They believe in honesty and great products so they understand when a product goes bad and how it was a waste of money. The price is good and they always have great weekly sales on things such as olive oil and yogurt. This is the only place I shop because of how great the product are, the wide range of selections, the locally grown produce, and the fresh meat. They also have a large seafood selection however that tends to be expensive like most places. Also, be sure to check out their own products they made in heinens such as their salmon burgers. They're to die for and the hard part is already done! I only shop at Heinens and this location is wonderful.

Bummer, my closest store now, that Giant Eagle closed. An extra 15 minutes from the house. Clean, well stocked, friendly staff. Pricey.

I would like some organic choices with REAL olive oil for those of us who eschew the aforementioned oils.

I live close to the Aurora, Ohio store so I went there to exchange it for one that was not cracked. First, when I walked into the store with the planter and my receipt the greeter looked at me and said "return?" and I said that I would just like to exchange and he very rudely told me "Well, you have to go to Customer Service first". I know that and it was where I was headed. When I got to the customer service counter the woman looked at me and asked if she could help me. I explained the situation and she wanted to know why I wanted to return the planter at this store. I explained the situation and she then went to find someone to ask if it was ok if I returned the item there. Seriously, it was bought at Walmart so it can be returned/exchanged at Walmart. The associates in this store are beyond reprehensible. When I went to the garden center to get a replacement I asked the associate there if she could pop the drainage holes out of the planter before I purchased it because I am certain that is how the first one got cracked. She looked at me like I was from outer space and told me that they don't know how to do that at Walmart. I left the store extremely angry without a replacement. I called to the store to speak with the manager and report how I was treated. I spoke to Team Lead Melissa (who should NOT be dealing with the public). I told her that they really needed to get their act together before the new Meijer across the street puts them out of business. I was called a name and the call was disconnected (not once but three times). I eventually spoke with Ariana (apparently the one in charge tonight) who also should not be in a customer service position. I will not return to this Walmart again. I will drive a little further out of my way just to be treated the way a customer should be treated.

I stopped at this location as I just arrived in town and wanted to order a vegetable tray for my grandson's birthday. Teresa was in the produce section and I asked her about ordering a tray. She took me to the deli counter to speak to the person who makes the trays. Unfortunately that person was getting ready to leave for the day and wouldn't be able to have it done until later the next day - too late for the party. Teresa told me that she would make the tray for me. Together, we picked out the veges I wanted for the tray and she walked over to the cashier so I could pay for them. Teresa took them to the back and had the tray ready within 30 mins. I am so happy that I found Teresa and cannot say enough about this level of customer service! This Giant Eagle is lucky to have her as an ambassador for their store! Thank you Teresa - you made me look good :) I wanted to complete the proper survey but my receipt didn't have a code.

In retrospect, getting a cart would have been a good idea. I really like ALDI in terms of selling European products. It always allows me to feel nostalgic and also expand my taste palette. Prices are budget-friendly. Although a die hard ALDI fan, this was my first visit to this particular ALDI location. The store is spacious, well lit, and very clean. The store was almost empty when I visited on Monday evening. Lines and self-checkout lines moved very quickly. I was in and out in about 20 minutes, which was grocery store efficiency win. I love that there's "quick meals" section by the entrance! If you need any other items you can't find, Marc's is in the same plaza. I found few negatives during store navigation: product organization and stock. Certain parts of the store such as fish and lunch meats were illogically organized and not in the manner other stores do their organization. It took me awhile to find smoked salmon. When I finally did, it came in very small packages. It was ideal for one person but wasn't what I expected. I was unable to find liverwurst, macarons, cream puffs, and a few other minor items. My final haul was the following: lobster dip (too watery), crab sticks (too sweet), pitas (always delish), smoked salmon (more salty than usual), and Rainier cherries (tasty). I also discovered few new-to-me items: Choco Changer sustainable chocolate, clover honey, mimosa bottles, rose cones ice cream, and boho hanging chair (in AOS). And really, is this even an AlDI review without shoutout to AOS aisle? It was very well stocked but had very few seasonal items (except a fan, which is super seasonal). I'd recommend this store for anyone looking for a quick shopping experience during the week.

They squeezed way too many registers in this tiny little area, and worst was the self checkout scanner guns have 3' cords and start near the floor. Completely useless. I checked three different ones before decided on one, oh wait.. it was broken. Looks like I'm not the only one who tried to pull them farther. Seriously, scanner could barely even reach the register, let alone your cart to scan. Had to pull cases of water completely up to register. What a disaster. Zero employees to help too. Spend the extra time and go to the Aldi in Bainbridge.
