Recently stopped here to grab some food and drinks for my work adventure in the Cleveland area. Dislocation is great just because it's not entirely packed but I will say my biggest issue especially if you're not from the area is that dreaded around about! Other than that parking parking isn't too bad at all. Staff here is very friendly and they are very socially engaging. Great selection of snacks, drinks, hot food, alcohol and check out service. It's in a pretty active strip mall too and close to many stores nearby. Solid reccomend. read more

I LOVE this Heinens location! They are always stocked up with the best products and they are super friendly here. They have much more variety than other Heinens in the area- so I always come here for my groceries. Ann was so friendly at check out and made me smile. My favorite things to get here are supplements, kombucha, and my FAVORITE salads: FengFit, I totally recommend the Signature Salad! Huge fan of this Heinen's location. The employees seem to be consistently pleasant, the inventory tends to always be pretty well stocked, and the environment is always sterile yet inviting. I particularly LOVE that they carry FengFit cuisine items (salads, soups, overnight oats, chia seed parfaits, etc.) in their own refrigerator. Dr. Feng's Signature Salad is a must try! I'm glad Heinen's carries such a large selection of NOW brand products, too. read more

This is my go to store in pepper pike and the store is the bees knees ! lol the people are friendly, the staff goes above and beyond each and every day time so much so that every place pales in comparison. Steph will actually ask you if you need help and follow through if you have a request. They are more than happy to check in the back for something that might not be on the shelves which has happened on numerous occasions They do not have a liquor license I think so all you do get to buy his wine and beer Rich have pretty extensive selections. They also have an extensive selection of cheeses to pick from. The bakery items are always fresh and as you could have guested the staff here is also just excellent While the prices are slightly higher it is nowhere close to being double like someone mentioned in another review, and I am happy to pay the premium for the enhanced customer service. They also bring the items and put it in your car which is an added bonus when it's cold outside or for those that are older or weaker. All in all as far as a grocery store experiences go it's five stars all around read more

Heinen's makes grocery shopping an experience rather than a "thing I need to do today"! When you can walk into a store and have team members say hello and ask about your family, that's impressive! You'll always find Beautiful and fresh selections of produce, flowers, new product features and beer/wine. Also...they're on Instacart! Yesterday March 21,2020 I purchased (2) bottles of GOYA Ginger beer at the Pepper Pike Heinens at roughly 8pm, only to get home last night and see that one of the bottles "unopened" was only half full or half empty however you want to look at it. Today Sunday March 22, 2020 I went back to the Pepper Pike location with the one bottle and my receipt and I was told by Gina at roughly 10:45am that their new temporary policy is no returns, no refunds or no exchanges. This is ridiculous!!!! No really this is stupid!!! The Chinese virus COVID-19 is not my fault, the bottle being half empty is not my fault, but somehow I am being punished because Heinens won't step up to the plate and do the right thing. I'm still the customer...TAKE CARE OF THE CUSTOMER!!!! Why is it that the people who didn't do it have to suffer the consequences? In these trying times this has really ticked me off, so instead of Heinen's adopting the attitude of we'll do the "right" thing and take care of the customer especially in a situation where it is clearly the Heinens responsibility to make this right they have taken the approach of "screw you customer." They did the same thing with the lady behind me at customer service they denied her also. This blanket attitude of them trying to cover their butts during this pandemic is going to backfire once this is all over, the negative news, negative social media out lash will be instrumental...and for what? Because someone in corporate Heinens made a dump decision and did not think through the consequences or worse yet...doesn't care. read more

I love this place, it's a nice fresh local grocery store with a bunch of stuff. I love the sushi there, make sure to go there on Wednesday if you're interested in sushi for a discount. Hey there's free samples there too so just take one. If you like soup I got good news for you because there's lots of different soups for you to try out. The seating is only indoors though. A run to the bank to make the office deposit means that afterward I will continue eastward on Chagrin Blvd, stop in at Heinen's and put together my lunch at their salad bar - the selection is wide, the food is fresh, and the price is the same as the grocery store across the street from my office. Heinen's difference is excellent service, and being a person in a service industry, I notice and appreciate when a company demonstrates that they want my business today, and they want me to return again and again. Things like putting a rubber band around my salad container so that it doesn't spill in the bag, or putting groceries into customers' cars rather than have them maneuver carts through the parking lot. On more than one occasion, as I have been looking (and looking) for an item, an employee has asked (without being asked) if he/she can help me find something, then taken me to the item (rather than poking a finger toward an aisle), and then asked if I need help finding another item. Another time, I got into a checkout line behind two other customers (the store was quite busy that day), and the employee in the floral department called me over and rang up my purchase (Heinen's doesn't have self-service checkouts for a reason). Great service, and good products, especially the produce section; when I want fresh fennel, I know Heinen's will have it, along with live herb plants (I like having a couple of pots of basil growing at home year-round), multiple varieties of squash, greens, onions, potatoes, etc. The only time I was disappointed in Heinen's was when I had a craving for a Twinkie; they had fruit-topped flan (which are marvelous!), apple pie, cookies, cakes, and muffins, but no Twinkies. Three of my many favorites: + Golden Monkey ($11.99 / 6 pack): a Triple (9.5% ABV) brewed by Victory out of PA. + Bonehead Imperial Red* ($10.99 / 4 pack): an American Amber / Red Ale (9.4% ABV) brewed by Fat Head's out of OH. + Gulden Draak ($12.99): a Belgian Strong Dark Ale (10.5% ABV) out of Belgium. For other adult beverage options while in the area, try Chuck's Fine Wines (ask to see The Beer Vault) in Chagrin Falls or Warehouse Beverages on Mayfield Rd. Warehouse bvgs takes the cake with Heinen's coming in at second. At a glance, clean aisles and shelves stocked with a plethora of high quality products fill the store. With their ample selection of specialty goods, Heinen's, more often than not, should be able to accommodate any and all of one's middle upper class grocery needs - perfect for the discerning after-morning-yoga, Lululemon-wearing cougar. If not, a quick five minute drive down Chagrin Blvd. to Trader Joe's (in Eton plaza, along with Sur La Table for one's kitchen gadgetry needs) or Whole Foods should suffice. The prepared foods/café corner consistently draws much of the attention. Immaculate with good presentation of the dishes, it's easy to see the appeal. My personal guilty pleasure: Sushi Wednesdays - look for the red sticker on the lid (discounted, perhaps even half-off) to be in the know, shh. This is a great Heinen's branch. The store is always kept impeccably clean and orderly. They have a large salad bar as well as a sushi bar if you are just stopping in for lunch. They carry a pretty standard array of products, with some, albeit few, speciality goods and organic offerings. The staff here is generally friendly and helpful, but you do run into the occasional after-school-job-hating-teenager who's just a little too snappy. What I appreciate about this store (and Heinen's in general) is that they load your car up with your grocery bags for you, which is convenient. What do you say about the place that is practically a second home . Heinens is amazing and this is my favorite. I've been a customer since I was a kid shopping with my mom. I'm here probably 3 times a week and the staff is so wonderful and caring they feel like family with regular fist bumps from my favorite bagger. Sam, the worlds best beer guy, is so incredibly helpful suggesting a great drink to pair with my meal or what new craft brew to pick up for a gift to impress my friends. The produce is hands down the best in the city. The produce staff knows everything and CARES! This is exactly how I want every shopping experience to feel. Well done Heinens. I usually love everything I get at heinens, but I purchased some Mussels yesterday and when I got home to cook then, almost every single one of them was already open!! Needless to say, dinner was ruined, I was totally disappointed, and we had to spend the time going back to the store today (not for the money, but to let them know they might be selling a tainted product- not everyone knows you can't cook open mussels) . Luckily, everything else we bought was great and because we gave never had a bad experience at the fish counter before, we will go back. read more

Heinen's always been a staple in Pepper Pike for several years now. I can remember going here many times after school to get their BAGELS or stir fry. Very professional staff and always tidy inside. They have a parcel area, which is very nice for the elderly. Over-priced in my opinion, but you get what you pay for. read more

Generally decent, over priced a bit. Good service, except today at check-outs. Serioulsy, I asked you to put it all in one blue plastic bag. I hate those bags, I know I should bring my own.
