    Bought a Onewheel XR from them reluctantly after one of the employees essentially pretended to give me a military discount by discounting 90 off the board and charging me 85 for the "free" fender In THEIR craigslist ad. I even showed it to the guy and the POS still charged me for it. Fucking unreal might as well have said fuck the military here's your 5 bucks off. Pathetic. Only reason I didn't leave is because they had them in stock and I don't know when I would receive a board if ordered one.

    Air filter completely clogged.

    Really didn't want to write this review as I had an initially good experience at Heinen a few years ago buying my ATV, but needed to document my service experience here in the last month. I dropped off my 2017 Yamaha Kodiak 700 to get an oil change and inspection on 11/19. When dropping off, I specifically noted I wanted an inspection done as the unit hadn't been serviced in a few years and I had done work on some deer food plots with it this year so wanted to make sure it was holding up well. They advised that the charge was going to be about $140. Very expensive for an oil change and inspection, but I wanted a professional to look everything over since it hadn't been services in a few years. I picked it up after Thanksgiving and as I was inspecting it when I got home I noticed that the air filter was completed clogged up (see attached) and the coolant reservoir was completely dry. I spoke with their service department and they apologized and agreed to provide a partial refund and also graciously offered to provide some coolant and solvent to soak the air filter in. Before coming in to get the items and run my credit card for a refund, I actually installed a plow on my ATV and while installing the plow I happened to notice that the oil filter was clearly not changed as it was muddy (see photos attached). It also had an oil filter wrench with a socket attached to it. Looked like someone was about to start service and never finished. I returned to their service department, returned their oil filter wrench, got a full refund, and the service manager was supposed to call me to discuss and never called. Beware of this dealership and their service department. Whether it was intentional or not, I was clearly charged $142 for a service that never took place, which is borderline fraudulent. Will be taking my business elsewhere for future purchases and services.

    This is what my new 2015 SuperJet looked like when it had arrived from Heinen's....

    Bought a 2015 Superjet from these guys - they gave me a great deal. Paid them via wire transfer - they had the watercraft shipped to me. It arrived looking like a forklift had run into the crate and had long scars along the bottom and some damage to lower hull. I didn't let them unload it without calling in to document damage. I also contacted the sales manager immediately, sent him photos, and was more than willing to give them time to claim the shipping damage with their shipper. Did I mention I paid a 75% premium on shipping cost? Sales manager asks me to get an estimate for having the damage repaired. First estimate $1800. I was told that's "out of line" with the actual damage and that their shipper won't pay for the repair. So I get a 2nd estimate at a shop that just does marine repairs - $2100. The sales manager says he'll submit the claim which may take a few weeks, but doesn't think they'll cover it. I even offer to take $250 less than the low estimate, so see if that will get things moving. Even though I'm not the that contracted the shipper and any damage claim pays Heinen's, I'm reasonable, and I'll wait... After 60 days, I call the shipper - no claim ever put in - I called 3 times just to be sure. I guess Heinens didn't bother. I'm reasonable - so I even offer to make the watercraft available for any insurance adjuster they choose... We're still stuck with no coverage of the damage, going on 3 months now. It's non-trivial to find shops that will do finish repairs on watercraft and I've hauled this thing around for at least 4 hours as a courtesy so that HEINENS could recover from the shipper that they contracted. I guess that's not enough. If you buy something from these guys, I'd recommend that you chose your own shipper and make your own arrangements. Before you buy: Read their facebook comments.
