I booked my appointment with any cerologist (person who performs the waxing service) and I was matched with Andrea R. The day of my service I arrived 15 minutes before like I was asked to and was greeted immediately as I walked in. Andrea greeted me and let me know she was going to clean the room and get ready for me. When I walked in the room, you could tell it was clean and sanitized. Andrea got to know me and asked me some questions about my skin and my waxing history. I let her know it was my first time getting a full Brazilian and underarm wax and she explained to me the process and the pain levels. I felt super comfortable with Andrea. She explained the process as she was waxing me and even maintained a conversation with me to distract me. She was super kind and I felt that she took her time with me and made sure I was vacation ready. I would highly recommend booking an appointment for waxing here. Based on how my skin reacts since this was my first time waxing -- I plan on continuing my waxing services here.

The sugarwax is a lot less painful for me than a regular Brazilian and now I could never go back to regular wax. Nicole does it super quickly, is thorough, and I love how the sugar doesn't leave behind sticky residue. The Aqual Peel Infusion Facial was incredible. It included mask, exfoliation, hydradermabrasion, nano pen, and oxygen infusion. Nicole was very knowledgeable and it was super relaxing. She showed me the sebaceous filaments and dead skin removed in the water afterwards (see photo - gross and cool!). I definitely want to start getting regular facials after this; my skin feels so clean and hydrated and is glowing. Nicole is also super friendly and the appointments are totally comfortable. They used that in conjunction with a soft wax too. Not really sure the reasoning behind it, but I really liked it. Here I am now in Washington and there are no salons like this that I have been able to find-so far. So I heard about this "sugaring" stuff from a friend. She had never had it done personally, but heard from people who had and they liked it. That was about enough I needed to take a leap and try this place out. The one I go to is in DT Kirkland, as that is the closest to me and I really don't like driving in Seattle. My first time I went was amazing. I had Melissa who has since gone to one of the Seattle locations. I LOVED her. She quickly greeted me when I first walked into the door and was able to see me right away. Our conversation was great and she didn't make me feel awkward. I loved the results I had after this first appointment. And I honestly didn't need to come back as soon as I did, but I needed a touch up before my husband came home from a long trip. The second time I wasn't as impressed with my esthetician, or the customer service, but the results are keeping me intrigued. I can always switch eestheticians for my next appointment so it's no big deal. I do wish on Saturday's though they had a little more of a flow. We waited for at least 10 minutes to see someone to check us in. We all actually went and sat on the couch it was taking so long. But again. I'm here for the product. And so far I really love it! The work felt rushed and sloppy, with several basic steps clearly skipped. The finish was uneven and lacked attention to detail, which is unacceptable given the prices they charge. What bothered me the most was the hygiene. The tools did not appear to be properly sterilized and were reused between clients, which is honestly concerning and made me very uncomfortable. Cleanliness should be a non negotiable standard in a nail salon, especially when it comes to personal care services. On top of that, they require a minimum 18 percent tip, which feels completely unjustified considering the poor quality of the service. The prices are already high, and for such mediocre results and questionable hygiene practices, it simply does not make sense. I will not be coming back. It is a real shame because I was hoping to find a high quality, professional nail salon, but this was definitely not it. Edit : I think you should remind your employees about the hygiene more than remind me that I can ask about tipping options
