Fillet mignon and teriyaki chicken
Brynn J.

It's been a while since I've had a meal that was so good I couldn't stop eating. This was one of those meals- my plate was licked clean and not a scrap of food was left. I ordered the miso soup, white rice, veggies, teriyaki chicken, and little mignon. My husband ordered the katsu chicken and garlic noodles. Everything was delicious. The place itself was clean/well decorated and lots of seating space.

I normally never have an issue at Hello Hibachi and am always excited to come here, but after today I do not plan on coming back. The food was extremely disappointing. The chicken was burnt, the vegetables were overcooked, and overall the quality just wasn't what I've come to expect from this place. Very disappointed in the experience and the decline in food quality.

The food here was amazing. I got chicken katsu and tofu with house grilled rice. It came with veggies and noodles. Everything was excellent. The chicken katsu was perfectly cooked--crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The tofu was also good. The rice and noodles were flavorful. For the 2 sauces, I chose garlic ginger and teriyaki yum yum. The yum yum sauce tasted like raising cane's sauce, which I'm here for. They also offer three special combination plates. I'm definitely going to try the Hello Sea Special on my next visit. The service was outstanding. Staff members were very welcoming to customers. They were approachable and accommodating.

2 Protein + 3 Sides: filet, spicy chicken, grilled rice, noodles, and veggies (broccolini) with teriyaki yum yum sauce

My favorite Lunch spot: I ordered the 2 Protein with 3 Sides combo from Hello Hibachi, choosing filet and spicy chicken along with grilled rice, noodles, and broccolini, with a side of teriyaki yum yum sauce. The filet was tender, and the spicy chicken had a nice kick (though a bit more heat would have been great--you can always request their house spicy sauce). The sides were well-prepared, with the broccolini providing a fresh, healthy option. Overall, it was a delicious and generous helping -- highly recommended! The ambiance is my absolute favorite. It's one location for both Hello Hibachi and Little Avalon, and the decor, along with the real plants, reminds me of Tulum. The staff are very friendly, and even though they may seem busy and running around to get everyone served, they always maintain a welcoming and kind attitude.

This was a very delicious and fairly healthy dining experience! This was a takeout order ordered with Grub Hub, and ordering was very easy with many options and selections to choose from. The interior is cute and has a contemporary and somewhat tropical/desert feel inside. The one staff member was fairly friendly and responsive with packaging the to go order. I had the "BYO 2 protein" meal with filet mignon and grilled chicken plus grilled rice and grilled vegetables. Overall this was quite tasty. The filet was not amazingly tender, but it was reasonably tender and tasty. The grilled rice was flavorful without being overly oily or greasy. The vegetables were also tasty and well-cooked (cooked but still crunchy and fresh tasting). This may be our new go to place for grilled meats and vegetables after the sad fall of Volcano Grill.

**BIG TIP, look at the menu online before if you have a chance. ** They share the same space at Little Avalon. They do have 2 separate lines. Sadly, there isn't a wall menu u can look at while waiting in line. They do have menus you can look at, but the line can get long. Service was friendly, but can become missed once it becomes busy, which is understandable. The interior itself is very great! Decor is nice and is very clean inside. Ordered the 2 protein with Katsu and Tofu. It was good, but the food was a bit dry or overcooked. Overall, i still enjoyed it. Sauces were a great compliment. Didn't take too long for the food to come out. Was a huge portion, but pricing was not bad for how much you get.

Either I was overcharged or the menu price is not accurate. I ordered 1 protein and was charged $18.99 base price. Yelp take out price for 1 protein is $16 for the base price. I can't remember exactly what the price was for 1 protein, but it was somewhere between $13-$16. I say base price because premium proteins are extra. Also, if the items are not available on the menu, then those items should be crossed out. I tried ordering scallop as my second protein, and that wasn't available. Blue rice was not available, and onion soup was not available either. There was more rice than anything else in my bowl and I didn't get many vegetables. The steak was good though. Overall experience could've been better. This place was overpriced for what it is.

This is my personal comfort food, so my review will reflect that. FINALLY a Hibachi place that gets it right! I'm from the deep south - we do "fast food" Hibachi as an art form there. Hello Hibachi is the closest I've found to tasting home. It's a 30 min drive, but the other Hibachi food trucks in Vegas do not do it like this, not even close. This food is actually cooked like you went to a sit down restaurant. The inside is decorated in light brown wicker, and has some Hawaiian themed elements throughout. Very cute and clean. They offer Hawaiian sun drinks and Hawaiian host chocolates. We tried a mixture of the different sides offered. Mixed vegetables, rice, and onion soup. The rice was absolutely incredible. It tasted different than what I can make at home. Slightly grilled and browned, but still soft and chewy. The portion of rice is good to me. The mixed veggies are yummy, also grilled, but mostly zucchini. I like broccoli a bit more, but that's just personal preference. The onions are bomb! The onion soup was super onion-y and exactly what I hoped it would be. It is similar to what you would get at a Japanese steakhouse. Very salty and oily, but so good. There was also an add on for $1 to color your rice blue. One of the oddest things I've ever seen a restaurant do, but I guess it's cool for the kids. The portion of chicken for the price is a little disappointing. I ordered mine with Teriyaki sauce ($1 more) and my partner got plain. I genuinely could not tell a difference. Both were awesome. I would suggest not to spend the extra $1 and just get teriyaki sauce as your side. The chicken was perfect. Moist, juicy, a little soft. Not rubbery at all. I hope they add an "extra protein" option in the future, if it isn't there already. While the meal was $14 with just chicken, at least it is cooked right. It is pricey, but I will drive here and pay it for food that hits the mark this hard. The sauces are great and worth paying extra to get a couple more with your meal. The meals come with 2, which is very fair. They are a good size, but as I mentioned.. southerners drench our stuff in sauce, especially if it's base is mayo. Hello Hibachi gets it right with their Yum Yum sauce especially. No weird ginger, excessive sugar, or sour notes. Just smooth, creamy, with hints of garlic, tomato, and vinegar. They also offer it mixed with teriyaki. There is also a ginger sauce which I assume will be good with their side salad. I can't wait to try them all. The customer service was just okay. It seems like they may easily get orders mixed up. We were the only people in the restaurant but they still had to check with us for our order name. I would check your order if you're picking up an online order just to be sure, but all our items were correct. I am super impressed with HH and will be back, probably at least once a week.

Absolute garbage! Ordered through a 3rd Party delivery service. Had a bite of the chicken. It was cold and uncooked on the inside, cooked on the outside.

Mood- Lunch I will admit I read a review that talked about the rice. This had my attention fully. In our world rice sometimes is life and can make or break an attitude. JS Upon entering was quickly greeted and asked if there were questions re: the menu. I didnt have any questions other than were there more drink options. I was instructed to go onto the other side which is the other restaurant that shares space with this place. You order at the front counter, pay, find seating, and the food is brought out to you. We opted for the Land Special and Water. Now I will admit the rice had my undivided attention and appreciation. That was probably my favorite thing to entertain here. The filet mignon was very well prepared as well. Combination Plates come with 2 sauces, so opted for the Hello Yum Yum and Teriyaki Yum Yum. Interior is quaint on this side. There are 2 tables and one sit up bar. We had to ask the employee at the counter for a wet towel so we could buss the table as it was not clean. The employee bussed the table for us. There is outdoor seating as well. Music was playing in the background. Would recommend - Pricing was typical for the area. Portions are not generous. However the rice is on point. I would come back to order a large serving of that. I think because the restaurant is still in the soft opening this is the reason for the snafus that occurred. Location is Sahara/ Ft. Apache - ample parking

What a pleasant surprise. We found this place on Uber eats and I have a strong rule of thumb, we always try it hot and fresh first before we ever have to-go. Man, we were not disappointed. This place hit on everything that's important to me. The food was absolutely amazing. The blue rice and the onion soup definitely set this place apart from all the others in town. The soup is actual soup cooked with love and simmered for 24 hours. This isn't your mama-san's run of the mill miso soup. The ambiance of the place is great. Tons of comfortable seating and a minimalist motif, that felt so clean and inviting. Loved it all. Finally, the service. Top notch. Everyone from the cashier, to the food runner, to the pre-busser, were all super friendly and highly knowledgeable of every question we asked. Not to mention took care of us so well, it made us feel like VIP's. Thank you so much. We can't wait to come back.

Inside is dimly lit with ample seating for a table and by the bar, beautiful decor of floating umbrellas. They also have a VIP Private Room. Menu offers a nice selection of soup, salad, tasty appetizers, sushi starters, including baked roll, signature roll, sushi & sashimi, deep fried roll, tempura roll, sushi bar entrees, special roll, as well as teriyaki entrees, combos, tempura, katsu mono, noodles & rice, ramen, hibachi entrees, lunch specials, kids meal, and desserts. For refreshments, they have an extensive wine list, red wines, white & sparkling wines, sake, beer & seltzers, bottle & draft beer, martinis, cocktails, and non alcoholic. I ordered Veggie Yakisoba ($13.95) and requested a side of sauce, very delicious! Stir-fried noodles are nice and chewy, cooked al dente, yakisoba sauce is yummy and has a delightful sweetness, plentiful veggies including crisp broccoli, zucchini, onion, carrots, and mushrooms. I tried Golden California Roll (8 pieces, $9), it's lightly deep fried roll, inside has crabmeat and avocado, served with eel sauce, good and tasty! Also had Shrimp Shumai (5 pieces, $5.95), this one's good too! Steamed shrimp is hearty, served with homemade dumpling sauce. The sauce is a little spicy. I asked one of the server Alex if I could switch to gyoza sauce, and he was quick to accommodate. Gyoza sauce is mild with a hint of sweetness, and yummy with shrimp shumai, very filling and savory! For sweets, they have mochi with ice cream flavor for vanilla, matcha, strawberry, and mango, fried ice cream, cheesecake, and fried banana. I opted for Vanilla Ice Cream ($2.59), they give a generous scoop topped with fluffy whipped cream, colorful sprinkles, and chocolate drizzle, it's splendid, not too sweet, and yummy! Atmosphere is so relaxing, pleasant, and lively with awesome music. There were several hibachi stations creating an incredible party vibe. Many were singing happy birthday and songs like "Time of Our Lives" by Ne-Yo and Pitbull, it's so cool! Service from Susan, Alex, Lily, and bartender Leo is very kind, welcoming, attentive, helpful, and friendly! The restaurant has 14 teppanyaki grills, eight in the main room and six in the VIP room, plenty of seating, and the dining area is fantastic for entertaining a big gathering, birthday party, bachelor party, or any special occasion.

I love Japanese food, particularly sushi and a big fan of rolls so it was only natural that I checked this place out. Located in a big shopping center, there's plenty of parking. But I can imagine it gets pretty hectic on Friday and Saturday night. Walking out of the place definitely has a Japanese steakhouse vibe to it. Very colorful. A very clean and the ambiance is really really good. We were seated immediately and were taken over to a table. We sat down and our waiter came up and I asked about happy hour which was clearly noted on some banners throughout the restaurant and I guess our server spoke very broken English so he called over the waitress and I asked her and she said no. They don't have happy hour which was confusing because all the banners said happy hour. So I was like okay there you go.. Anyway, we got our Waters very quickly and we ordered the calamari and crab rangoon. To be honest, the calamari tasted like some of the Frozen stuff you would get at the store. Some you could tell were very chewy others not so much. The crab rangoon however was really good! So that made up for the calamari.. We ordered a couple of rolls, the king crab roll and we got a complimentary California role on top of that. Super tasty! Super delicious, probably one of the better roles I've had since I've been in Las Vegas. Fun part was they had a little robot that brought dishes out to you. Kind of fun, and the waitress even joked that AI was taking her job. Bottom line? Was it the best Japanese food I've had since I've been in Vegas? No, but it was delicious and I will totally come here again since it is so conveniently located by the house.

The food itself tasted ok, but the customer service and experience went downhill quickly. The chef decided to share our shrimp and steak with the neighboring table. It felt unfair and awkward to say the least. We did not think our food order is communal...since our bill sure wasn't. I can't help but wonder if assumptions were being made--whether about our preferences or something else--but regardless, it wasn't appropriate. To make matters worse, we were only asked and given only one ice cream instead of two since it was supposed to come with each combo order. Maybe they assumed adults don't care for dessert? I'm not sure, but it added to the feeling of being overlooked. The food was fine, but the unnecessary drama and poor service ruined the experience. I wouldn't recommend this place. It felt like they care more about putting on a show for certain guests than treating all customers equally.
