    Tofu bowl
    Kyra B.

Saw some other people with poke when visiting the foundry and decided to get my dinner here! The staff was very kind and made my bowl quickly (which turned out amazing). I did love the fact that there was a vegan protein option, but the sauces are not labeled for allergens/dietary restrictions. I asked the staff if certain sauces had meat products in them and they were not sure. They offered to check the recipe, but there was a line and I felt bad asking so played it safe and got a sauce I knew the typical ingredients of. Would love to see more labeling on the menu to make allergens, diet restrictions, and other needs a little easier.

Ahi tuna poke' bowl was fresh, the edamame was perfect!! The store was nice, clean and efficient. Everything moved very smoothly. Its a great alternative from the norm !!

Food was AMAZING! For a relatively decent price (~$20) you get this huge bowl that easily feeds two people! The salmon is some of the freshest that I've had, and the rest of the ingredients are incredible and compliment the fish so well! Service and ambiance were incredible, as the servers made sure that you had all of the things that you loved in your bowl, and that you enjoyed the way that it was being made. Will definitely be coming back here again soon!

First time trying out hello poke, I wasn't impressed. I had the salmon poke bowl with lettuce, seasoning, cucumber and spicy mayo. This was the most bland poke bowl I have ever had, maybe it was based on my own toppings selections. I felt rushed during the ordering process, and I didn't have time to closely select my toppings considering it was my first time there.

The guy behind the counter did it up right! He loaded us up with hearty bowls and made us laugh while we waited. The tuna was good quality and the veggies all seemed super fresh. Got some matcha mochi to finish it off. Perfect addition to the foundry food court. They really have it all!

First trip to The Foundry Food Hall. The build your own style is fun and they were happy to answer my questions and make suggestions. Happy with how my bowl turned out. I do wish it was a little more protein for the price.

    My mess of a bowl

I ordered the double protein bowl with tofu and salmon. Fish was pretty fresh. Not a whole bunch of toppings. Guy doused my bowl in sauce so it was super salty and soggy. At the end I asked for seaweed topping and he replied that I already had seaweed in my bowl. Yeah I had the wet seaweed salad but that's not the same as the dried seaweed. Like just put it on my bowl man, it's not that serious.

    My delicious bowl!

Let's eat healthy and delicious! You can't go wrong here.. You get to decide what you want in your bowl!

Hangry bowl: White rice w/ tuna, salmon, eel sauce, edamame, mango, green onions, and fried onions.

Everything tasted fresh, but the rice was too fresh - it literally just came out of a rice cooker, so it was warm rice with everything else which really brought the taste down. They were busy, but you'd think you'd have enough backup rice to avoid having to dish out warm rice to people.

Stopped here for lunch today, it was my first time at the Foundry and honestly my first time trying a Poke bowl. I love sushi so I was expecting to love this. It didn't disappoint. I went for a lighter bowl and used mixed salad greens as my base. I got shrimp and salmon, a variety of fresh toppings. I asked the nice lady working for recommendations on sauces, she hooked me up. Super happy with my lunch, service was great, and the venue of the foundry was so unique. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Inside, it's way more spacious than you'd expect, with tall ceilings and around 20ish seats. Feels like they do a lot of takeout too. I really liked the iPad kiosk setup to customize your order, its super easy to use. We went with the poke bowl with one protein and the toppings were generous and the sauces were really good. My only gripe was that the protein felt a little light compared to the amount of rice and toppings. I'll probably do extra protein or double up next time to balance it out better. While we were eating, a lot of people kept coming in just for bubble tea, so that's clearly a favorite here too. The staff was so warm and welcoming. Oh and the chairs have cushion on them instead of being hard plastic, small detail but I appreciated it after a long time of walking around. Great corner location, solid poke. I'd definitely be back.

I would like to preface this review by saying that I lived in Hawaii for five years. I have always been a plate lunch enthusiast. I was happy to see that Buzz's menu offers everything you could want to make a delicious meal reminiscent of the islands. Traditionally, plate lunch includes two scoops of rice, a scoop of mac salad, and a protein. Sticky sweet teriyaki sauce on chicken or steak, or crispy chicken katsu, or maybe Kalua pork are all good options. I went with the kalbi ribs and garlic shrimp. The kalbi was done well. The garlic shrimp missed the mark for me. In fairness, my frame of reference is Giovanni's shrimp truck on the North Shore of Hawaii. This shrimp was dry and was missing the garlic butter sauce. We also tried the lumpia, manapua, kalua sandwich, and an order of loaded fries. This is just a small portion of their amazing menu. I'm confident there is something for everyone. My favorite part of the meal were the signature Dole Whip. I was momentarily transported back to the Dole pineapple plantation! If you're more adventurous the lilikoi are absolutely amazing!! The perfect sweet little treat.

BUT entering, there was like, no aloha spirit, the vibes were so off, the music selected wasn't even, at least modern Island reggae, and the lights were really dim. That is outside of the HUGE wait times of DoorDash orders coming through and stalling the people waiting in line to order. The staff were working HARD to get through the line, but they were just overworked. We got an order of garlic shrimp that came with rice, mac salad, and a pineapple slice for some reason. We also ordered the Poke Bomb Flight which is fried tofu skins filled with rice and topped with poke. The Poke Bomb Flight, or inari, was pretty good! I liked the flavor of the poke and it was a great one bite situation. The garlic shrimp however was small - like not even plate lunch servings. It was 5 pieces of shrimp, two small scoops of rice, and mayo heavy mac salad. They must be doing something right though with all those DoorDash orders, but we won't be coming back to try more.
