I didn't realize that I never reviewed this place. Before there are lot of poke places like today, this is the first in St. Louis area for Poke. You can either choose from pre defined menu or pick everything from scratch. Over the years, there are new additions to the menu like sweet potato fries and wasabi wave (which I haven't tried yet) My favorite is Maui's Fury (raw sushi grade salmon and other delicious ingredients) Next favorite is crispy hei hei ( chicken ). From my memory, when I was talking to the owner and asking about how the chicken is less oily. He mentioned that's the expensive machine that he bought to make the fried chicken. Cost average is 13 - 15 dollars. Seatings: Very limited inside and few tables outside (depending on weather) Parking: There is very limited parking in the front. But, there is a huge covered parking lot behind the building which is free. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

    Fun reusable to-go bags

Yummy poke bowls without leaving the mainland! Highly recommend for a quick-but-still-special lunch. I ordered the Kilauea Krunch bowl and have no regrets. I don't know if I will want to try something new in the future because I enjoyed this one so much. :) The white rice, unagi sauce, avocado, cucumber, spicy crab, crunchy shrimp tempura- all done to perfection! Menu is clearly labeled to accommodate any dietary needs. Even though I had to grab it to go, I enjoyed it immensely. The reusable to-go bag was a nice touch. Very friendly service; found me at the pick up counter and handed me my order right away so I did not need to wait in the line while others ordered. It seems to be a popular spot! At around 1pm the small seating area was full, there was a line of a few people ordering, and I was one of four pickup orders ready at the counter. They seem to have great throughput and do so with a smile!

Poké Munch is my new favorite poke place in St. Louis! I've tried several in the area and what makes this place stand out is the efficient service, freshness of ingredients, and reasonable prices. I order to go from Poké Munch regularly I can expect my order to be ready within 10 minutes. The cost of a custom bowl comes out to be about $10 cheaper than other places. I've tried in St. Louis. This establishment is located right next to St. Louis University, making it an ideal location. The inside is small, but in intimate, if you want to dine in. Highly recommend!

Would recommend ordering from Poké Munch if you're craving a fresh bowl. The spicy tuna was delicious and would be the perfect texture for someone that doesn't want big chunks of raw fish in their bowl. I loved all of the topping options that they offer in order to customize your own bowl. The meal was a great way to get veggies in and felt very balanced. We got two bowls to go and our order was placed in a nice looking reusable bag. I appreciated the focus on sustainability. If you prefer more spice / flavor, one recommendation would be to ask for extra sauce - either on the side or in the bowl. Overall, would love to come back and try another bowl.

I went here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed my poke bowl. The ordering process is a little bit overwhelming if it's your first visit though. I got the Aloha bowl and my friend got the crispy hei hei bowl. We also devoured an order of sweet potato fries that were gone before the camera came out, lol! I love a poke bowl so I was thoroughly happy with the amount of food and the ability to customize the order. Everything is very clean, the service was fast and friendly. The eating area is quite small so I think it's better for takeout but I will definitely visit again when I'm in the neighborhood.

I love that they have a build your own poke. I had ahi tuna on a bed of greens with tons of veggies, spicy aloha, and wontons. So good!! I would eat here every day

Poké Munch did it AGAIN. They never miss. I've been 2x this past month and it has hit the spot every. single. time. The place is clean, fast and kind. The employees always have a smile on their face and are always welcoming us in. I tried their mushroom pot stickers and they were incredibly tasty and delicious. Sometimes it's hard to find vegetarian potstickers at restaurants and theirs really hit the spot. The food is always sooo fresh and tasty. I feel like whenever I get a bowl with a salad base I always end up picking out a nasty piece (or worse multiple pieces) of old greens but never have I had to do that at Poke Munch which tells me their food must be REALLY freaking fresh. I had their spicy tuna which was the perfect kick to my build your own bowl. My husband loved the mix of salmon and spicy tuna. ***The best thing about Poke Munch is that I never feel gross after. I feel like I gave my insides a huge hug by feeding my body something so healthy and delicious. Can't wait to come back again soon!***

I am obsessed with this place and I don't even eat fish. My mom told me about it a few months ago and I have been coming ever since. The workers are always friendly. I have ordered pickup from here and it is just as good. The crispy hei hei bowl is my go to. There isn't a ton of room to sit inside but they have a few tables outside.

I used to order here a lot for lunch when I worked nearby, but haven't been back for a while. There was no line when I walked in today. I was surprised seeing 3-4 people working behind the counter - you"ll definitely get your order in no time. Poke Munch is a small place but well maintained. They also have outdoor seating. You can park in front of the store or in King's landing garage. Today I got BYO bowl -brown rice, salmon, spicy tuna, ahi tuna, spicy crab with honey wasabi sauce. Salmon was really fresh but I was disappointed at the tuna and the spicy crab. In my opinion. The food quality here was much better before. I"ll still come back another time to give another try.

My husband and I ordered the Sushi Boat Deluxe and an Ocean Roll to share. While we waited for the Sushi Boat, the Ocean Roll already told us that the fish was going to be good. The menu is really expansive. My friend is vegetarian so we got all the veggie friendly options. The agedashi tofu is so good, vegetable tempura is a classic, seaweed salad is generous with the portion, and the vegetable roll with avocado, cucumber, and asparagus was a solid pick. The simple avocado roll is another classic, simple roll. Get the sweet potato roll! It blew us away, it was so filling and tasty, did not expect that. We also got the tofu teriyaki stir fry which was really flavorful and comes with rice. The space is on the smaller side and can feel a little cramped but they make the most of it. Waitress was friendly. Highly recommend and I'd come back to get the fish dishes next time.

I thought this was a mistake because that's insanely long for the 2 rolls. I went in person around 6:45 pm to ask about the order. And the waitress didn't even try to look into it and dismissed my concerns. I understand that they are busy and it was a happy hour night (Tuesday night). But all the meantime between 6:45 - 8:15 pm, I saw new groups waiting for a table, and then they got a table, ordered, and by the time I got my order 8:15pm, those groups left the restaurant. So, I don't understand how I was ordering only 2 rolls to go at 4:55pm and wasn't able to get the order for 175 minutes? I have dined in at Wasabi in Clayton before during my college days (2014 - 2018), and my expectation was that all the Wasabi would be just as good still. But, I guess it's been awhile since I've gone to a Wasabi location and looking at a lot of the latest reviews at this location, I do not think I will be back. Disclaimer too: this was my first time ordering online at this location, so if this was the norm, then I don't think it's worth the wait. I even thought about dining in to get seated last night because they definitely prioritize the people dining in, but I saw other low reviews while I was waiting and then made up my mind of not coming back. There were four waitresses and looked to be only two chefs in the back. But, I still think it was unfair that I saw people get seated, eat, then leave all during the time that I was waiting for 2 rolls. As for food: I ordered the Alaska and Mango roll for $7 each. And the rice was not great and the Alaska roll was not even worth it. I hate that I have to leave a poor review, but I think last night's ordeal was not ideal for future visits. I wish I had looked into the reviews before heading there.

He said the tuna had a funky, fishy taste and lacked that smooth, melt in your mouth texture that excellent sushi has. The rolls were so poorly prepared they just fell apart when we tried to pick them up. Sweet potatoes were raw. They did have GF tamari tho which I appreciated.
