This is definitely authentic Vietnamese cuisine. All of the dishes we had were absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Also love the decor in this restaurant.

2025-07-06 grilled pork salad was entirely missing the picked carrots and daikon in it as described on the menu. 2025-07-06 -- I have been getting hello Vietnam pho for 5 years now and 95% of the time it is perfect and consistently made. I really enjoy all of the different items they have and the prices are fairly reasonable still even with rising prices. I hope to continue enjoying their food many times in the future.

First time at Hello Vietnam. Very clean and interesting Ambiance. We ordered steamed shrimp and pork rolls, combo fried rice and calamari. It was a tough choice because the menu was large and diverse. Steamed rolls were good and fresh. Fried calamari was very good. Fried rice was loaded and a very large portion. Food was out quick and they quickly replaced the peach tea my wife didn't like with fresh lemonade with no questions asked. Overall I would recommend you give them a try! "FIMP" Food is my Passion

Sampled decent amount. Pho Spicy special was fantastic but not spicy. They have homemade chili sauce that helped it was great. The chicken wings were different and turned to be quite tasty. The staff were great and the place was in great clean order. I will return. There was room for groups if needed and no wait. Really enjoyed the experience.

My metric for good Pho are the fresh ingredients Basil and bean sprouts and these were very fresh. I had the brisket and steak and my husband had grilled chicken pho. Large bowls full of delicious broth and noodles. Decor was fun. Service was quick.

They've gotten better estimate wait times and the food is good. We've done take out and eaten at the restaurant a number of times.

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. It is pretty spicy. The flavoring was really nice with a fish sauce in it. It was probably spicier than I wanted. Think I'll go back to my noodle order next time. It was good to try something different though. I would give my dish four stars. Otherwise everything else gets five stars. Free street parking outside.

The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

First of all, ordered at the counter and chose our seat. Place had plentiful tables to choose from. Menu had a variety of sandwiches, vermicelli, and rice plates. So many choices, but my tummy stuck with the sandwich. When the nicely wrapped sandwiches came to our table, I we were pleasantly surprised. The sandwiches were more than generous and huge. I ordered #2 - grilled pork, pate, fried egg, and with all the trimmings. Absolutely delicious! Bread was nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Protein fillings were not skimpy at all- the grilled pork was not overly salty, the pate was a nice thin creamy flavorful layer, and the fried egg was perfect and fluffy to top. The produce- pickled veggies with decent balance of cilantro and thinly sliced jalapeños! Omg soooo good. All fresh and flavorful! Can you pls open another eatery in San Antonio?!

An employee quickly cleared the table without hesitation, wiping it down and giving us a pleasant greeting. He was also clearing plates through the small space. It looked like there was just one person working the counter and he was also helping to cook. Everything was cooked to order. We ordered a BBQ pork banh mi, spring rolls, and a pork eggroll noodle bowl (which is my newest obsession). The vegetables on the sandwich were fresh and flavorful; we had some inconsistent knife cuts on the pork resulting in "a big 'ole hunk of meat" on one side of the sandwich, but no big deal. A few issues for me, which may not be a deterrent to you: The rice noodles were overcooked to my taste and my noodle bowl was missing the crunch of bean sprouts! Those same mushy noodles were in the spring rolls. We both didn't care for the addition of bacon in the spring roll and the peanut sauce was the consistency of peanut butter, but we mixed it with siracha and made our own little spicy sauce. All in all a friendly, clean, and inviting place!

It was very quiet inside and no one else came through while we were there. Just one to go order. Every time we try a new Viet spot we always get the egg rolls and spring rolls. You get 4 large egg rolls in an order and they were fresh and pipping hot. Spring rolls were fresh and the peanut sauce was very good. Husband ordered the vermicelli noodles with pork and egg roll. I ordered the banh xeo. When the banh xeo came out it was the biggest I've ever seen! But it was rice paper thin and crispy! It's hard to find crispy bun xeo so this one stood out. We were also convinced to order the fish sauce chicken wings. They were super crispy and had a light batter on them. Sweet and sticky. Our total ended up being $70 which is steep for lunch. But the portions were large and everything was fresh and hot. I want to go back to try the pho. They also had some items you don't see normally. Like snails and other shell fish.

But somehow I had saved this one to my map so I came here with a couple friends for dinner last week. I wasn't super hungry, so I just ordered spring rolls, crispy chicken dumplings and a "dragon egg" boba tea "smoothie." Though it was on their menu under "Smoothies" it was not a smoothie at all. It was an icee. That said, it was still delicious and I loved the fresh and fruity boba balls. The flavor was more lychee than strawberry, but I didn't mind. My friends got an appetizer plate and 5-spice chicken. Both enjoyed their food very much. The restaurant has a casual atmosphere, but does have sit-down service. Very chill vibes, and prices were fair. The place was clean, staff was attentive, and the peanut sauce that came with my spring rolls wasn't spicy, which I appreciated! I wanted to just chill and take my time to eat, but the server never came back again for me to order another drink so I decided I should just get out then since they didn't want me there long it seemed let's start off with the food review tho my spring rolls tasted off like there was something a bit funky with them, as well as how to frozen texture on the inside and I was given the smallest amount of fish sauce I've ever seen every other place. I've been to is a huge amount or like a generous amount of that sauce dividend but I got like barely anything so I was like trying to scoop it at the end, but yeah, definitely funky tasting rolls. The pho itself consisted mostly of noodles and a decent amount of meat at least but with the combination, I felt like the tendon they just gave the biggest chunks possible, which were extremely hard to try to bite through unusual for me to come across I love tripe and tendon the most in the combos, the regular size is generously sized tho no need to pay extra for a larger size unless you're really hungry the flavor of the broth tasted good nothing special but it was a alright meal prob won't come back but I don't think it was entirely a waste of time
