Really nice employees! Really good food! The vegetable pho is so yummy. The tofu is crispy and vegetables taste very fresh.

Excellent food and service. There was a pretty long wait during the grand opening weekend but so worth it. We will definitely be back!

But they were on their own very good. I got the Japanese Miso Hot soup and added instant noodles and lobster balls. Mild weather on the spice. It was still pretty spicy. Cleared my nostrils right up My friend got the beef hot soup also mild and mine was a lot more spicy lol. But said it was very good I also got a Thai Milk tea with 25% sugar which was nice. You walk in get seated. Then that is really the last time you talk to someone. You scan the menu and order from your phone. I think this cuts out any confusion. You then have someone bring your food and drinks to your table. They do walk around and offer your more broth as there is a lot of food in those bowls. And when you add the dry noodles you need more broth. I think that is cool. They do drop off the check midway through. It does get busy around 7pm we got there just before 6 so got in no problem.

When we got a table, we ordered using the QR code. It took a bit of time for our food and drinks to come. But the spot was pretty busy. Only saw the server when they brought our drink and our food, and when we ordered additional drinks. This is not like the typically hot pot spots where they bring you the broth and meats/veggies separately to cook yourself. You pick a "soup" premade and it comes to your table in a hot clay pot. It's a bit heavier broth. Definitely not what my taste buds enjoy. However my husband liked it. I don't think I'll dine here again only because I prefer the cook myself experience, simple ingredients, and lighter broth.

After reviewing the menu we decided on Lemongrass chicken with vegetables, beef with vegetables, beef vermicelli, and shrimp vermicelli. Service is always fast here. I ordered the lemongrass chicken. It is pretty spicy. The flavoring was really nice with a fish sauce in it. It was probably spicier than I wanted. Think I'll go back to my noodle order next time. It was good to try something different though. I would give my dish four stars. Otherwise everything else gets five stars. Free street parking outside.

The restaurant seems to charge for every little thing and the staff is slow and forgetful. Having to get up so many times just to remind them about our order is simply not acceptable. I really hope things improve, especially for long time customers who have supported this place for years Ambience The ambience was very cute and charming. The space feels inviting and has a pleasant atmosphere. Food The food was good. We ordered the catfish spring rolls and they were delicious once everything finally made it to the table. Service The service was the biggest issue and it was very disappointing, especially since my family has been coming here for 3 years. Parts of our order were missing, including several side dishes and even the sauce for the spring rolls. We asked for a cup of ice and that was missing too. We waited about 10 minutes after receiving the catfish before the vegetables were brought out and we had to keep asking for simple items. It's a shame because things taste best when the food is still hot, but the catfish was already cold once they brought out all the small dishes that came with the main dish. Because the staff was moving so slowly, we ended up walking to the counter (6 times) just to follow up on things that should have been brought to us without asking. It honestly felt like we were serving ourselves. There should be no excuse why service was so slow because there's two waitress and only one other table. The Vietnamese coffee tasted sickly sweet and burnt. After taking one sip, I asked to switch to a Thai tea, hoping it would be better, but that drink was also extremely sickenly sweet. I returned it after one sip as well. I was surprised to see that I was charged for both drinks and was told it was because I drank them, which did not feel fair at all. They even charged us for the lemon slices.

Parking is pretty small so parking can be a little difficult when it gets busy! Service is decent and they are very friendly but could be more attentive. It is pretty spacious inside with plenty of indoor seating. However, it can get pretty loud when it is busy so it might be hard to hear one another They offer Korean BBQ but it isn't all you can eat, as well as Korean dishes (tofu soup, bulgogi, bibimbap, etc.), and sushi. There is even a lunch special menu Mon-Fri 11-2:30pm and has a good selection of bento boxes! I've gotten their beef teriyaki bento box and it came with rice, salad, 2 piece California rolls, and 2 pc fried gyozas. Pricing is $13-20 The beef teriyaki is pretty tender, flavorful, and not too salty. The salad is underwhelming and didn't have fresh greens. The fried gyozas were decent, nothing special. The California rolls were ok, not bad. I would say it's 7/10. The bibimbap was very fresh and delicious but a little pricey ($18.95). The bulgogi was marinated very well and rice was super crispy inside the hot stone bowl. Seafood tofu soup was pretty good and not too overly salty. It was very flavorful and the tofu was very soft. I would say it's 8/10 Would definitely recommend and return

I had the cottage cheese bowl and added a few additional veggies and it was so fantastic. The service was quick and the food was fresh. The menu doesn't say you can't do that anywhere. Not on the board, not in fine print, nowhere. Instead of just making the order, I was told "you can't do that." No explanation. No logic. Nothing. I asked for the manager, and Zana wandered over. She had no clue what the policy even was. She had to stare at the menu board, then ask a coworker, just to come back and tell me no again, still with zero reasoning. Then she hit me with the most ridiculous explanation I've ever heard in a restaurant: it's "implied" that you shouldn't order two soups. Implied? By who? Because it sure wasn't implied to me, and it definitely wasn't written anywhere. Instead of owning the mistake or providing a real answer, she got visibly aggressive the second she was challenged, like I asked her to solve rocket science instead of a lunch order. When I asked for her District Manager to contact me, she took my name and number, but not before throwing out this gem: "Do you go to Panera Bread and do this too?" Yes, actually. And unlike Café Zupas, Panera doesn't whine about it. They encourage it. I left Café Zupas and went straight to Panera for a stress-free lunch. I even kept the receipt so Café Zupas can see how a real company handles customers. Bottom line: the menu is misleading, the manager has no command of the policies, and the attitude was downright unacceptable. If this is how Café Zupas chooses to treat paying customers over something this small, it says everything I need to know. I'll happily spend my money elsewhere.
