Amazing pho, satisfied my craving!! and thai tea was so flavorful and delicious! Haven't had it in so long so i might order soon

Staying on Zanjero Blvd for the 4th time in 2 years, I got into a routine: check into the hotel, relax a bit, and cross Glendale Ave for a quick dinner. This was usually a stop a Poketrition (or NakedQ) but Poketrition closed up sometime last year. Pho AnAn stepped in, offering Vietnamese fare in a serene environment (or, as serene as a strip mall on a major road can get). The menu covers off a number of familiar dishes (summer rolls, banh mi, bún, and, of course, pho). Needing something light and fresh after a day of travel, I did an order of shrimp goi cuon (summer rolls), bún thit nuong (vermicelli + grilled pork), and iced tea. The summer rolls, filled with shrimp + vermicelli + mint + lettuce, held together well, even when paired with not too thick peanut sauce. The vermicelli bowl (vermicelli + grilled pork + cucumber + pickled radish + bean sprouts + peanuts + mint) provided a great mix of flavours (smokey / salty pork, sour radish), and improved even more with some of the pickled dipping sauce from the summer rolls Geared towards takeout, service is speedy, the food satisfying, and the portions more than generous. read more

We love coming here during the colder months. Their soups are amazing! We come to this restaurant often since we live so close to it. Food comes out really fast and the portions are a decent size. This is a good place to order to go as well. I really like how they package everything separately. It makes it really easy to put it together and re-heat it at home. read more

We stopped by Pho Anan for lunch, and the experience was just okay. When we walked in, the lady cleaning a table pointed to a corner table without saying much, which felt a little rude. We ordered Spring Rolls, Egg Rolls, and two bowls of the Special Pho. The Egg Rolls were the only thing we really enjoyed. The Pho, on the other hand, had a bland broth and didn't feel worth the $16.99 price. Our total came out to $60 with tips for just the two of us, which seemed overpriced for what we got. This is based on one takeout visit. It is in a convenient location. We wanted to grab something to eat before we went to Tanger Outlets which is nearby. I walked in to order. The place has plenty of seating and looked clean. It was fairly early (maybe around 11am-ish), so there was no one in there. Ordering was quick and easy. The menu has a decent amount of stuff. The prices are fine (not sure if it is average for the Phoenix-area). We ordered the grilled pork w/ steam rice. It was fine. Decent amount of food. We also ordered the spring rolls. They were $4.99 which I thought was pretty inexpensive, but i get why. They are probably the smallest I've ever had which is fine, but the flavor didn't have much to it. It had more pork than shrimp, probably too much consistency-wise. The peanut sauce it came with was just ok. This place came up on my Yelp search as a solid 4 stars. I was feeling nostalgic and craving some of my mom's Vietnamese food, so I decided to check this place out. I'm glad that another Asian restaurant opened in the West Valley, it's always a mission to mob to the East Valley. They're known for their Pho, but I wanted to try other dishes on top of that. I don't recommend getting the wings, they took awhile to be made and was basically brought out when we were done with our meal. There isn't that much meat on them and the flavor was ok. It's good to know there's finally a decent pho place nearby. The place is small, clean, with comfortable seating. We were greeted with a friendly staff. The staff was kind and accommodating. The food arrived in a fair reasonable time. The food we've tried is flavorful and good. I always order the Fried Egg Rolls and 9a. Combination pork broth as it's my toddler's favorite. I always enjoy eating the combination fried rice but will probably try something new next time I stop by. My sister tried the combination pho which was good cause she inhaled the dish haha and made sure nothing was left. Their Thai Tea is good! Of course I'd come back here! read more

This is easily one of the best hidden gems that's right in your face. Easy to pass by because of the traffic but so worth it. Clearly they take pride in fresh ingredients. I have not had anything from this restaurant that wasn't absolutely delicious. My favorite is the shrimp fried rice. I can't get enough of it and if you try their house chili oil you won't be disappointed I promise you. read more

We're so happy to have a great pho spot close by! The restaurant was very clean and welcoming, service was great and the waitress was super friendly and accommodated my request for extra spice on the side to enjoy with my Bun Bo Hue. The broth was delicious; I just personally prefer an extra kick of chili in my BBH, they also are very generous with the meat. My bf enjoyed the pho as well, both broths tasting clean and delicious, reminiscent of a homemade meal from your Ba ngoai. We'll definitely be back. I noticed this restaurant had just recently opened so I decided to try it since it's literally less then 10 min from where I live.. the restaurant is pretty clean especially the restrooms which tells me their kitchen should be just as clean.. but I was very disappointed that they are a little cheap on turning up their AC.. I know it's to hot yo be eating a soup dish but it was what I was craving for which I had ordered and I was literally sweating while I was eating the dish along with other customers who were in the restaurant at the time as I was, was literally sitting there finding themselves while they were eating their meal also... I had ordered a wonton egg yellow noodle soup. Dish the broth was really good but the toppings I was really disappointed. They gave me fish egg balls with the wonton noodle, which was OK, but the pork meat was very dried as they had steamed it, then stirfry it a little before they put into the soup so that was disappointing in the Dish that I had ordered... overall this place is OK but I don't think I will try it the second time around.. read more

Took forever 40 Min for take out for 1 chicken pho and spring rolls ! this place was empty! NEVER AGAIN ! 4 people in the front trying to figure out the orders ! NEVER THE HELLLL AGAIN ! Food was so cold and the actual place is dirty! When we got there there was 3 families dining in, and the rest of tables were full of dirty dishes from previous customers it took them the entire time we were waiting to Clean up The tables and there was still dirty tables ! They didn't even finish cleaning, then the walls omg so disgusting I just decided to stand up never again! And this was after the table was clean! What about the disgusting walls this is how every single wall looked ! Family owned business and local and AUTHENTIC The restaurant it sell is a little small but I'm hoping they get more business to get a bigger building I love the pho here I always do beef and brisket comes with bean sprouts basil jalapeño and lime It's gives a very cozy vibe on the inside with relaxing music a perfect place to read a book or two. Amazing food. Friendly employees were happy to serve us and were attentive to refills and other needs. The spring rolls and egg rolls were delicious and textually perfect. The noodle bowl, pictured below, tasted fresh, herbaceous, and yummy. We got seated immediately but right before the rush filled the restaurant up! We ordered three different meals and a spring roll appetizer which we never received and were disappointed with that. The shrimp/fried rice meal was good but light on flavor. The fried orange chicken with streamed rice was good but very light on flavor. The restaurant was clean. Interestingly enough, the meals came out with two right away and then the third meal was a good seven minutes later. We had fountain beverages and were never asked if they could be refilled as the waitress never came back to check on us. read more

I wanted to really like this place. I ordered for the first time and the pho meatballs were so rubbery you couldn't eat it, the broth tasted like oil. The vermicelli was ok, not much chicken mostly noodles. But the worst part was their peanut sauce, It tasted sour and had all kinds of stuff in it, no clue what it was, definitely didn't taste like peanut sauce it was very watery. Pretty disappointed. Our check was $142 so we ordered plenty to have the menu. Ordered 3 Thai teas and 2 Vietnamese Coffees. There was likely about 1/4 of a cup of liquid while the rest was packed with an excessive amount of ice. No refills offered (we would've paid although we shouldn't have had to based on how much we didn't receive) couldn't barely get the straw in or stir because there was so much ice. Service was subpar. Waited and waited for water a check to go boxes etc. Food was good but these other items just made it not a great experience . read more

I absolutely love this place and I get the most personable experience due to how friendly the staff is! I have never had springrolls as DELISHHHH as this place. Lol whenever I call they know exactly who I am- I typically will always order the vegetable pho, the springrolls, the Bo luc lac , and the chicken wings. I wonder how many positive reviews I'm allowed to leave? Anyways, I love the sweet lady who takes my order, I love how consistent they are, I love how reasonably priced everything is, I love the personable experience I get, I love how close this is to where I live- I am proud to say I am a true regular here.
