During that call Jeff asked me to give them a chance to win back my business and I agreed to one more opportunity. On Tuesday of the next week I took my RV to the service department and waited in the service lounge area while both headlight bulbs and the battery was replaced, free of charge. During my time in that lounge I overheard telephone conversations with various customers and in person interactions with other service customers as they picked up RV's that had been serviced. I was there for just under two hours and heard employees and customers treating each other with respect. I did not hear any complaints. I commend Jeff and his staff for addressing my previous experience in a timely manner and taking action to make right our business relationship.

Review of our motorhome buying experience with RnR RV in Lewiston, ID : Purchase date July, 20,…read more2026 with a down payment sent prior to purchase. My husband and I have talked about buying an RV for a few years now. We are getting older, still love to camp, but setting up a tent and hauling all the supplies is getting more difficult. When we decided to purchase property 5 hours from where we live in Nampa, ID, the motorhome idea took wings. We anticipated needing a place to stay both in Nampa and Orofino while our two residences were being prepared for the transition. After a lot of research, we chose the Overlander Ridge model, available for sale at RnR Rv in Lewiston or at a location in Boise, a little closer to where our current home was. We chose RnR because of their location to our new area of residence, and contact was made with their salesman, Ben. We made the drive, Ben gave us a tour of the Outlander Ridge. We made the commitment to purchase with the required deposit and let him know we'd be in Lewiston July 20th, paying with cash and prepared to pick it up. During the whole process from tour to purchase, we were in continuous contact with our salesman Ben. As you can imagine, driving back and forth, 5 hours one way, between our two residences, one being moved out of and the other being prepared to move into, took a lot of planning and coordinating. This move is the reason we chose to purchase when we did. We knew we would need a place to stay. We have been sorely disappointed with the entire experience and have incurred much unnecessary stress and expense because we chose to buy from the wrong dealership! When we arrived on July 20th at the time we had told Ben to anticipate our arrival, the RV was parked in front of the sales office. It was not clean. In fact it had not been prepared for us at all. That should have made us run, but we had already committed with a down payment. Our next frustration came when we were ready to pay the remaining balance. I was ready to write a check, but was told that wasn't acceptable, we would need to go get a cashier's check in a town we are completely unfamiliar with. BTW the payment method was never previously discussed with us , they accepted our downpayment in a bank check.and they were well aware that we were prepared to pay in full. At no time did our salesmen mention another form of payment would be necessary. We didn't even know if our bank had a branch nearby! There was much discussion back and forth, the lead salesman was brought into the conversation as well. I get that my husband and I don't look like we have that amount of cash in the bank. However, the disrespect we felt from the lead salesman is inexcusable. He sarcastically said to us, "write the check to me, I'll take it to the bank and get the cashier's check myself". I did not appreciate the obvious sarcasm in his response and asked for our deposit back. After some himhawing back and forth, while my husband was trying to locate a bank nearby, we decided to continue with RnR Rv in Lewiston. Bad choice indeed as we were ab out to find out. So, we drove into Lewiston, Clarkston, WA actually, and got the cashier's check. We returned and our motorhome still wasn't being prepared for us. We were told "nobody takes it home the same day". WE ARE. RnR has had our down payment for days, had advance notice to prepare for our pickup, has just had us there for more than 1 hour in the office and another hour away retrieving the cashier's check and now has the payment in full. We were not leaving without it. We couldn't. As I said in the beginning, we were residing 5 hours away in Nampa at the time and still are as I am writing this ( Aug 25th, 2026). Believe me, we were seriously questioning our choice to buy at this location! They agreed to prepare it for departure that day, We waited. We got the basic instructions for care from the service team, and we brought it back to Nampa. Our purchase included 2 additional batteries and an extra solar panel so, it should be able to maintain power parked in our driveway for a few days while we prepare for our next trip. It did not. Two of the 3 batteries completely drained with only the refrigerator being utilized. We drove it back to RnR and waited there for several hours while they searched for the problem. They claimed it fixed and we brought it home, parked it and prepared it for our next outing at the end of the week. The day we were supposed to leave to camp in our brand new motorhome, the batteries were dead again. Back to Lewiston we go. It is now the middle of August, nearly a month after our purchase. That $500 gift card they gave us does not pay for the cost of travel we have incurred because of their incompetence! This time, we leave it and head back to Nampa. Nobody ever called us from the service department with updates. Every single contact made was initiated by us and we were dealt with rudely by the women in the service office when we asked wh
