Here are a few reasons why I say this: Nick, the owner, and his beautiful wife, always welcome everyone into their store with a genuine smile! They also work their "bottoms' off without ever whining about it! Having owned and operated a C-Store myself, I do know of what I am saying! While the store is delightfully, authentically old, it is filled with so many groovy items! Their prices are FAIR! They don't get the price discounts of Safeway or what-have-you, but they do their best to keep the prices reasonable! Their wine selection is ever-changing and GOOD! Their selection of groovy beers is apparently pretty terrific! I am allergic to hops but you cannot help but overhear. Speaking of, if you are like me and bought your beloved a kegerator over the pandemic, this is THE PLACE to get a refill! Nick is fair and fast! He is accurate and honest! Love that!!! I had a wine fridge that just needed one part. Otherwise the wine fridge was in great condition…read more So I called them to ask if they would be interested and they never called me back. We drove to their location in Snohomish and paid the fee to recycle or refurbish the fridge. The real problem happened when we were unloading the fridge. The woman at the desk said the two guys in the back would help us. Only a man from the forklift came over and was quite rude. He took one end on the fridge and I had the other end as we were lifting it out of our van. He said, "Let Go." But I needed to set it down before I could let go. So after I got my hand out from underneath the fridge he grabbed the electric cord off the back and dropped the fridge on my foot. Then he dragged the fridge across the asphalt (by the electric cord) with it's pristine door on the ground. I asked him, Why he was doing that because the fridge still works. And he said, We don't want it! I am still stunned.
