They take advantage of employees who can "manage" to get through a day alone doing a 3 person job. Contstantly one person working the deli and they always look like they want to commit suicide. Seems like an awesome work environment. they tottalllly care about employees mental health. Stop taking advantage of your workers and hire some more help or management needs to get a job they can actually do efficiently, as it seems, Cat and this new dummy can't handle the pressure. Service is going to shit at this location.. they would rather you use self checkout then right you up. With a full cart of groceries. I'll take my business elsewhere. Words of wisdom. Self checkout leads to a-lot of store loss and less employees. Replacing people with registers and expecting us to do your jobs. We should get a employee discount. Not a bad safeway. A little difficult to get in and out of. It's not very large, and quite often, especially in the evenings, half of the dairy options are sold out and not restocked. Also employees stocking the shelves should not reek to high heaven. read more

So this is an Albertsons I like - very clean, friendly employees. Like all Albertsons, regular grocery prices are ABYSMALLY high, but you'll usually find some good sale prices in the ad. The 'Cheep Chicken Monday' deal gets me in here practically every monday and I'll throw a few other items in the cart that are on ad. Whenever I need to get a potluck party dish, a sure winner is a bagfull of their 'wingzings' from the deli. read more

This review is about the pharmacy, not the store. My wife got a text saying that her prescriptions were ready for pickup. As I've done several times in the past, I was going to pick them up along with a few groceries. I got to the pickup counter and could see the pharmacist apparently training a young man at the computer. She looked up at me and went back to her training. This is the part where she should have said she'd be right with me. She didn't. I then gave my last name and then the confusion began. The young man couldn't figure out what to do, so he called over to the pharmacist. She was also confused and said that of the 3 prescriptions, one may need to be ordered. I said sure. Fine. I was then expecting her to provide me with the other two drugs. Nope. She said it would be about 35-40 minutes. What part of READY FOR PICKUP don't they understand? Now, my wife or I have to make ANOTHER trip to the store. We've been using this pharmacy for a number of years and have never had any trouble. Guess it might be time to find another pharmacy. One that knows what ready for pickup actually means. read more

I've been meaning to write this review for a while and just keep putting it off and getting distracted. Every time I come to this Albertsons the employees are always so helpful and kind, no matter what department I'm in! I want to give a special shout out to the bakery at this location though. Ordering cakes is such a great experience each time someone in my family has a birthday. The ladies there always make the most delicious cakes, sometimes on such short notice too! My recommendation of a cake we get often from here that is always incredible is a chocolate sheet cake with raspberry filing and fudge frosting! read more

This location treats their employees terribly and has no regard for the safety of their customers. They attempt to force SICK employees to come into work even when they test positive for Covid and are displaying symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, and sore throat. They also force employees to continue working even after witnessing traumatic events happen in store. I am BEYOND upset about the "new" Albertsons/Safeway. The staff has changed and are rude and do not care AT ALL about your time. I use to be able to get my prescriptions within 5-10 minutes and now it's about an hour for them to "fill" anything and they're very rude about it. They lie and say 10 minutes and it slowly always becomes an hour. I want our old staff back. read more

This is for Paula and the bakery team at Albertsons. Paula is an amazing baker who has always done beautiful work and gone above and beyond to make her customers happy. She has baked all our families cakes for every occasion from birthdays, engagements, anniversaries and most recently my wedding with a incredible custom cake of our design. The flavors are wonderful with a good number of filling choices. Paula is also the best worker of butter cream I have ever seen our wedding cake was completely made of buttercream with only one mountain done in fondant. Firstly, this has been our neighborhood Albertsons store for about 21 years, and we love everyone there!!! Since I had surgery last week I have been taking narcotic pain medicine, as most people do. Yesterday my Dr's office called in a refill, and my husband went in to pick it up this evening. The pharmacist told him they don't have that medicine and won't until Tuesday. Wait. What? They had a day and a half to let us know so we could make other arrangements or call the dr.for a different prescription; because it was sent electronically and it's DEA controlled (don't get me started on the DEA) they won't send it to another pharmacy or give us a copy. I have fibromyalgia and my normal pain medicine is an "opiod antagonist". It is very effective, but obviously can't be taken with narcotic medicine and it takes most of a week to clear my system before surgery. If I miss the narcotic meds, not only does the surgery area hurt, but the rest of my body does too. I am so frustrated at the lack of communication shown by Sav-On. When people like me with complicated health issues bring prescriptions in, we need to know that our pharmacists are reliable and they are looking out for us. read more

We are very disappointed with Albertsons policy on wearing masks. We called the management after being in the store three days straight and seeing customers without masks on . Management said they can't enforce mask wearing due to corporate mandates. My health and my families life are too important. I have shopped at this Albertsons over a decade and I'm taking my business to other grocery stores. Costco , pcc and Whole Foods all require mask wearing and they enforce it for the safety of thier employees and guests. I will share this with neighbors too. In addition to reviewing local Breweries, I like to point out the best places to buy beer as well. The Albertsons in Clearview (right off HW 9) has one of the best selections in Craft Beer I have found in awhile. With a fantastic and unique selection of 'bombers' and six-packs. Here, you can't go wrong picking out a great local NW brew. Prices are unbeatable compared to most bottle-shops, especially with an 'Albertson's Card'. I recently purchased (3) three "Oregon-based",. 22oz bombers---of which (2) two, I have never seen in any local 'Specialty Beer Shops'...Kudos Albertsons. Like many grocery stores, all or most, are locally and individually owned. Therefore, the Beer Buyers are all different. Regardless, this Clearview Albertson's definitely has a well-developed and educated Beer-Afficionado as a buyer. Nicely done, and keep it up. read more

Staff is great. It's never crowded, and the prices are great. There is always a large selection of fresh fruit & veg as well.

Used to shop at this store when it was Albertsons, and prices seemed to be reasonable for everything but meats. Now that it has changed to Haggens, the prices are *significantly* higher on everything I saw. My last visit there was on Saturday evening, about 7:30PM 8/22/15. Many of the prices I saw were 10% to 30% (or more) higher than before. There were only ten or 12 customers in the whole store. I can see why - they were likely going somewhere else to find better prices. If I go back, it will only be for one or two items, like maybe milk. Now I'll be going elsewhere for my weekly groceries, anything not Haggen. It's too bad, too. I like the atmosphere of the one in North Bellingham. Used to go there a lot when working in B-ham. That store has VERY nice people, it's a clean store, and prices there didn't twist my knickers. Still trying to get them untwisted from visiting the one at the top of the Clearview hill, though. Four and a half bucks for a box of snack crackers? REALLY? And the meat prices. Ugh! As Sly Stallone might say, "Umbaweebabo." OH - one last thing, and this is about providing information to the customer. Albertsons and Safeway both have price stickers on the shelves where you can see the price per ounce or whatever, so you can comparison-shop. On the Haggens tags, the smaller price per ounce information is on the TOP of the shelf tag, and faces DOWN, so you can't see the smaller unit-pricing numbers on the lower shelves unless you lie down on the floor and look up at the tag! They don't want you to know that information, or don't CARE. This is poor customer service IMO, and almost impossible to use for the purpose of comparing the value between container sizes or between brands. I won't be back unless I have almost no choice. Haggens, you failed this one, BIG time. Color me disappointed. read more

Regarding the bakery, It is all about cup and layer cakes. No creativity here. Yet I cringe whenever I walk the bread lane of this grocery to be confronted at end with a three layer stack of cupcakes, arranged in some sort of celebratory stand - offered for only $89. Really, cupcakes, perhaps 20 -- 89 dollars? I look over to the bakery counter to see if someone actually works there and sure enough "Can I help you". Not really, I thought to myself, the goods are self-evident. I smile in acknowledgement and move on to the deli. Really, I don't see a business here. Other local stores are better and they don't try to make it by pawning off single cupcakes for $1.99. Staff, in general is great and enjoy shopping at this store. read more
