My mother has purchased many many appliances from this outlet. She really believed that they were great at their craft. My experience so far has been pretty awful. My dryer broke and I needed a new dryer. Like many people during covid my work schedule has had me stuck at home and on zoom meetings but my mother was sweet enough to take the drive from Seattle to Snohomish for the purpose of seeing what they had on hand. This was two weeks ago. It was a Friday around noon and the sales person and my mother called me and we discussed what appliances they had on the floor I asked if the appliances were brand new (they said YES) and I asked the salesperson to send me pictures (front, back, sides and inside) for my viewing. I never received any photos. My mother is 80 years old. After we were off the phone the salesman somehow convinced my mother to use her credit card to hold / purchase both a washer and dryer for me. They assured her that they were brand new and if I was unhappy that they would undue it all until it was correct. My mom then expected me to write her a check for the merchandise. Which I would 100% do. The very next day (Saturday) I still never received the photos. As a result I drove to the Appliance Recycle Outlet and asked to view the appliances. The original sales person was very busy and didn't have time to explain anything or slow down to talk to me. He was fast talking and a bit rude. Another sales person was very sweet and asked me how he could help. He really did offer his time and attention. He told me that he could have sold me that same set that my mom looked at for $400 less than what was offered to my mother. He also told me that those items were 100% not brand new, so the original sales person was dishonest about that. That's not good. These white whirlpool appliances were also electric and not gas. Ughh... The new sales person said he would correct it all and "I promise to take care of you ladies". He even found me a better appliance option which was a brand new silver whirlpool gas dryer and he stated that he would refund my mom's card and then properly charge me for that new silver gas dryer (after they made sure that it was properly functioning). This would only take a day. None of that happened. I was expecting this dryer to be delivered to my house the following Tuesday because this is what the new sales person said would happen. Instead the sales person went silent. He called and also was texting all of these details and promises and then stopped communicated. No communication, no dryer, nothing. I have called multiple times and zero response. I was told that the "boss" would reach out to me but I have never received a call. Holy smokes.. I just wanted a great dryer. Be mindful of the pricing games. Be mindful of the merchandise and what they claim to be new might not actually be new. Don't expect follow up or clear communication. And you might need to just let yelp, your credit card company, the better business bureau or an attorney help you communicate the service that you deserve. Taking advantage of seniors is not a good business practice.

i went in to metropolitan appliance on memorial day weekend and had done my online research and was…read morepretty certain what i wanted in terms of a replacement slide in stove. jacob a approached me and ended up helping me. we spent over an hour talking about options and discussing standard coil vs induction/glass top. i wasn't going to go that route but jacob is very thorough and not pushy at all; multiple times he stated that his goal was for me to purchase something i felt comfortable with and would be happy to own. i appreciated that. ultimately i decided to go with a frigidaire model that was a drastic improvement on the stove/oven i've lived with for two decades. he took care of the payment paperwork, the scheduling of delivery which had to wait until now and also all the communication between us. he was also kind enough to send a follow up email alerting me to being eligible for a rebate based on the model i had chosen. today, the delivery folks showed up within the stated window and i'll just say that the tracking system clients are sent to know when to expect the delivery is magic! it helped a lot to be prepared and to have cleared the adjacent space but it left no guessing for when they would arrive. jorge and his teammate (sorry, i didn't catch his name) were professional and efficient. they knew how to handle the extrication of the old appliance, how to set up the new one and insure it was level, and they walked me through basic operating instructions. all told (and i haven't yet used the appliance) i have been very happy with the level of service and courteous communication from this business. it makes me want to provide their name to others who are in the appliance market and to use them again when i next need a replacement.

When our…read morerange was delivered, it was brought and installed by Ned and Mahdi, who did an amazing job making sure that everything was properly installed without any damage to our floors or our home. Ned and Mahdi went above and beyond to provide excellent service and I would want them to help with any other appliance installation in the future! They were professional and careful and methodical.
