I have purchased a few pieces of my jewelry from Helzberg for a while now. My first wedding ring, milestone pieces for my daughter, my newest diamond ring. I had recently lost weight due to my illness. My husband has always suggested getting my rings soldered together. I did put it off and unfortunately I lost one of my diamond bands. Of course I learned the hard way and through heartache so I made my way to Helzberg to get my other band and wedding ring soldered. The first time I got my bands soldered, I wasn't impressed. The way they had my band sitting against my diamond ring was off. It didn't look right. I actually stopped wearing it and went back to my first wedding ring. As a jeweler, how do you not see that the sitting of the band wasn't flattering to the wedding ring? To me, it looked off due to the missing band. And now it looked worse with how low the other band was sitting. After a year, I finally had the chance to get a new band so I can complete my set. The same band I previously had was available at the store. While I was hesitant to complain about my rings, the sweet sales associate listened to my dislike of how my rings were initially soldered. She understood how I felt and saw why I disliked it. She took my words, listened and translated it for the jeweler to see my point of view. I appreciate that she took the time to jot down these notes and relay them so that the jeweler and I saw eye to eye. There was a delay to get my rings back. I totally understood. It's delicate work and I didn't want it to be rushed. I'm happy that they took the time to make sure the rings were soldered perfectly together. I love love love my new rings together. The bands are sitting more flush with my wedding ring. It was how I wanted it and it was nicely executed. This would have been a 5 star rating but my interactions of getting my ring is what caused it to dip. A couple days after my promise date and no phone call, I finally called the store. A gentleman answered and told me that my ring was ready. I did ask if it was ready a couple days ago and he really didn't answer my question which annoyed me. I found it unprofessional. I know your lack of answers tells me what I needed to know. My ring was there and was not bothered to be informed about it. I made it in the next day since it was so late when I found out that my ring was ready. The gal that helped me was not the nicest. Not a smile. Not a "how does it look?". She honestly made me feel uncomfortable asking for my ring. Double checking my info and ID several times. I'm not lying dear, that's my ring. The only time she was nice was when I told her I was looking for a sapphire bracelet for my daughter's 21st birthday. I was ready to purchase it but I'll save my sale for someone who's more genuine. The customer service here is so 50/50. My initial interaction with my purchase was great! The gal was sweet, considerate and engaged. My last interactions weren't the best. I'm tied to this store for a long time since my most important piece of jewelry is from here. I will make sure I'm more selective about who helps me. I'm not just commission to you. Overall, I'm happy with my ring and how pretty it is! Just disappointed that my last interactions were distasteful. read more

I do not recommend buying anything from Helzberg Diamonds and below are the reasons why: On December 3rd, 2022 we went to Helzberg in Boise, Idaho to buy rings for our daughters in Northern California. We found beautiful rings, but before we made our purchase we asked about Helzberg stores local to them for sizing and maintenance, Megan and Emily from the Boise, Idaho store said oh yes, we have local stores for them. My husband said great, make the purchase! We gave our girls their rings on Christmas, they loved them and were so excited, we said they have local Helzberg stores to take their rings in for sizing and maintenance or repairs. To our dismay we found out the two stores in their areas are permanently closed. When we called our Boise store to find out how we were going to get their rings sized and maintained they said oh that is very unfortunate! We said we know of a jeweler local to our girls we would like to have the warranty transferred to but the local store and home office said they would not do this, again, their words were this in unfortunate but offered no resolution that was acceptable to us. So, we decided to pay for the ring sizing to be done by Devon's Jewelry and will have to have our girls mail their rings to Helzberg home office for inspection and/or repairs. Again, the main thing I want to bring to everyone's attention is Megan and Emily at the Boise, Idaho store said they had stores that were local to our girls. I will never do business with Helzberg Diamonds because they hire employees that do not know what they are talking about or they do not tell the truth to make a sale! Had they known the stores in our girls area were permanently closed and been honest, we would not have made the purchase and spent almost $1,300.00. If they were not positive of the status of the stores and researched before we made our purchase, we would not have spent almost $1,300. and gone elsewhere. Our calls to the Boise store said speak with home office and home office said speak to the Boise store! Let's just give the consumer the RUN AROUND!!! My fiancé and I recently went ring shopping. We had been to a few jewelry stores before entering Helzberg. The level of service we received at this store was almost offensive, compared with everywhere else we went. I wish I had gotten the lady's name who had helped us, but the only identifying features I can offer are that she was young and of Asian descent. She was rude to her colleagues in front of us,requesting a specific tool and then getting passive aggressive when they were confused by the term she used to describe the tool. When showing me a diamond she placed in a setting (it wasn't secured) I tried to pick up the ring to take a closer look. To be fair she had tried to steer me away from touching it, however at every other store the jewelers allowed me to handle the ring in the same situation, stating that I should be able to get a better look if i were to make the decision. They cautioned me that the diamond wasn't secure and to just be careful. This lady was not as accommodating, instead referring to me getting my "grubby little fingers" all over the ring. That is an exact quote, I am not exaggerating, and she said it multiple times while laughing in that uncomfortable way people do to make something rude sound like a joke. I'm sure she found me annoying because I touched the ring, but there's a professional way to handle that situation and then there's this. I have over 8 years of customer service experience in widely different roles, and this kind of behavior - publicly being rude to a colleague and then to a customer - is NEVER acceptable. We ended up getting our ring from Morgan's jewelry. Josh, who sold us our ring, was amazing and kind and patient and I would highly recommend them over this location. I took 2 watches and 2 bracelets in for repair. Repair of the 2 bracelets was authorized, yet Helzberg did not complete, or begin, after 3 weeks. One watch battery was replaced for $50 without authorization. One watch was not returned; a Rado Cirrus that is no longer in production. Horrible customer service and total lack of responsibility by the manager and the clerk. AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE. A third watch, a Movado that was purchased at Helzberg was taken to a kiosk for sizing of the band because they were unable to minimally service the product that they sold. read more
