I hired with this company ONCE back in 2014 for a chimney cleaning, and post-cleaning they recommended additional services that, upon reviewing with a 2nd chimney professional - was not needed. Their sales system was basically providing the offer of a "low cost" chimney cleaning, as a segue for more upsells. Since then, they've CONSTANTLY pestered me year after year with sales calls / offers for chimney cleaning since they are "in my area." I've asked them again and again to REMOVE my number from their list - but they won't listen, so I've reported them now to the FTC since my number is on the DO NOT CALL list. Sorry, but any contractor worth his salt is always busy and doesn't need to drum up business (Hint: I manage 7 doors locally and over 40+ units now / over 100+ at the height of my holdings - every great pro I know is booked weeks / months out). On a Friday in August I tried every option & no one available except "Appliance Dr." Ronnie & his assistant came within hours. They were sure it was the fridge fan which they immediately replaced (no electronic testing gear needed?). The refrigerator/freezer worked ok for a few weeks then same issue reoccurred. They came back & replaced the thermostat but gave me a very reasonable bill for the part to pay once I was satisfied with the service call (which I paid a month later). Speaking with one of the office staff, she positively assured me that Joe Cornetta would contact me to visit my home and access the plumbing issues. Upon arrival in two days, Joe inspected the work to be done and explained that another permit would need to be filed with the TOH and he would get back to me with an estimate. Within days, Joe provided a clear and precise estimate of the work to be completed with the additional TOH costs for the permit and inspection and that Joe would personally be present for the TOH inspection. after signing the agreement, we scheduled a date for the job to be completed. Steven, the crew chief along with two other technicians began the work promptly at 8am as scheduled, covering floors and appliances that were close to the actual area. Within minutes, the crew began to renovate the plumbing issues to TOH code. Observing the team, they reminded me of as NASCAR pit crew, very fast, precise and obviously seasoned experts. By midday, the crew was finished and spotlessly cleaned the area. Joe had assured me that the work was compliant to current TOH code. Sometime later ( Architectural drawing and TOH delays) an inspection was scheduled with Joe leading the inspector through the work completed. The work was approved and a Certificate of Completion was issued, Throughout the entire process, Joe, the office and the crew certainly were certainly a breath of fresh air. Their efforts, communication and completed work was nothing short of exemplary and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone would a plumbing issue.
