Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. I highly recommend you give this company a chance to work at your home or business. Im certain you're going to be impressed with the end result. Henry.

Called on a Saturday at about 1:30pm because my hot water heater stopped working (their listed…read morehours on Yelp show them as being open 8am-5pm on Saturday). They asked if it was an emergency. I didn't say it was an emergency but said I would like someone to come that day, so I would at least know if I needed to get the hot water heater replaced. When they called me back about 45 minutes later, I asked if they could tell me how much it might be. They said they couldn't give an estimate until they see the problem. The plumber showed up to the house about 4 hours later, relit the pilot on the hot water heater, and said if it wasn't a Saturday night, he'd try to repair it. All in all, he spent about 10 minutes at the house (I have the doorbell camera videos to prove it). A few days later, I received an invoice for $270, saying they responded to an emergency call for no hot water. When I called to ask why it was so much, since he was only at the house for 10 minutes and didn't actually repair anything, they said it was because they came on a Saturday.... So try to avoid these guys. They list themselves as being open on the weekends, don't tell you that it costs extra for them to come on the weekend, and then bill you as if they actually did work to fix something. (I should also mention that the hot water heater stopped working by Tuesday morning - less than 3 days later.)

Something has changed drastically and for the worse in the last year. Since 2020, they have installed a generator and two separate cooling and heating systems in my home. I've spent literally 10s of thousands with them. Issue 1: They have purchased the world's most obnoxious AI system to answer their phone. Yesterday I called during regular business hours. The AI- 'Rachel' would not put me through to a human, laughed at me (YES!) and insisted it could handle my issue. It literally gets condescending and snarky. Issue 2: The quality of their work has fallen off. New heating installed in September. Turned on in December. No heat to an entire floor. The fans weren't installed correctly. New AC installed last June. Not working. Really? Waiting on service call later this week. Issue 3: Add on charges for everything. For instance, with the AC service call this week, which I am only using them for because they installed it and should be responsible, I was told (even though I purchased a service plan and the system is still under warranty), that it would still be $94 plus for the call if it is something not covered by installation or warranty. The $400 service plan plus $94 would more than cover a call from another company and..... what could it be besides faulty equipment or an installation error like the heating? I had similar issues with generator problem in February. Paid for the service call, he didn't have the part and they wanted to charge a second service fee when he came back. I have recommended them countless times to others. I will be finding a new vendor once the AC issue is resolved. So done.

We used Yelp's Projects feature to look for contractors to help us resolve this situation. I added a picture of the part making unusual noises to my Yelp project request to provide some detail about the situation. Tom's Plumbing & Heating Services responded first. From my photo, Justin identified my malfunctioning part as the circulator pump, and after a few questions confirming that nothing else was wrong, Justin recommended that the circulator pump be replaced. He provided two options for circulator pumps, along with web links and total costs for each option, and a web link to my existing circulator pump for reference. I selected a pump with horsepower equivalent to my existing pump. The cost of all parts that Justin referenced were roughly equivalent on Amazon.com. Other vendors requested a complete picture of the boiler system, or had initial consultation fees. The service visit totaled roughly 90 minutes. In that time, Justin: - Replaced the boiler drain valve because it hasn't been used in many years and no longer worked - Drained my boiler - Installed the new circulator pump - Bled (i.e., removed air from) most of my radiators. Justin emphasized the importance of bleeding the radiators, as air in the system reduces the boiler's efficiency. - Demonstrated how to override the water pressure regulator in case of insufficient system pressure. - Pointed out other potential points of failure to monitor in the boiler system -- the water pressure regulator and expansion tank.
