It is really cool - lots of tvs, keno, darts, and pool tables. The staff was friendly and efficient. Julia is a great waitress. The wings were really good. I had the ruben sandwich with Cole slaw which the coleslaw was really good and the Ruben sandwich was ok. All in all not a bad place, i need to stop back for a evening visit.

It isnt big, maybe 15-20 bar stools and 12 booths and 1-2 tables. This time we picked a booth and a great server (Jacobi) helped us right away. Fun part of backstretch is the staff. Servers are friendly, you can watch the cooks prepare your food, and they have a full bar. Note they dont have many draft beer options, but servers tried hard to get us something we liked. Food here is fresh off the grill and tastes like home cooked food - from their Reuben(which was amazing) to Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (has kick but so good) - you cant go wrong. This time we added Tots, Mac and Cheese, and the Deviled eggs (most sandwiches are served with a deviled egg - tasty). We also tried Jacobi recommendation of Hencock Tots - wing sauce - cheese and bacon. Should have just made that my meal. Amazing. They dont take reservations but unless there is an event in downtown, you can usually walk in for dinner. This was our third visit in 60 days! He explained he doesn't tip on tax and the alcoholic drinks but otherwise he gave an 18% tip...my brother and I went back and handed her another $10 in cash saying maybe we may have calculated it wrong (didn't) but wanted to be nice and handed her the cash...she proceeded to complain further and didn't offer any thanks.
