I bought my 2021 BMW 750 here two years ago, ceramic tint on the windshield. Great! Then I took my 2022 Range Rover there last month for window tinting and PPF. The tint job was done right but the PPF on the front bumper and the side view mirrors caps were done poorly, ( see picture ) and the PPF on the doors lip came apart. I don't have a problem with paying a lot of money to get something done correctly and done professionally the first time and not a few times. Because they set the price for the best possible outcome and professionally done...right ?? Me: should it be like this? Them: your vehicle is not a new ! Me: speechless!? After our last sandstorm, my daughter's car ended up with a massive crack in the windshield, and now it needs to be replaced. I've heard and seen Safelite's commercials on the radio and TV for as long as I can remember, so when I finally needed a windshield replacement, they were the first company that came to mind. I called and spoke with a representative. She was very friendly and collected all the necessary information. She explained that because my daughter's car is a newer model Honda, it wasn't eligible for mobile service -- it required recalibration that could only be done at their Henderson location due to the size of the equipment. She asked if I wanted to use my insurance, but I told her I preferred to pay out of pocket to avoid potential increases in my premiums later. She then worked on a quote. After about 21 minutes of questions, she finally gave me a price: $877.82. She broke it down as $382.82 for the windshield and $495.00 for the recalibration. I asked if that was the total out-the-door price, and she said yes. I went ahead and scheduled the appointment since she told me there was only one slot left on Saturday. To my surprise, when the appointment confirmation email arrived, the total price was even higher -- $944.85. How did the price jump from what she quoted me? That's a $67.03 increase from the total she had promised. I was shocked and immediately went online to cancel the appointment. Afterward, I called several other auto glass repair companies around the Las Vegas Valley, and all of them quoted me less than half of what Safelite was charging. Most also said my daughter's car was eligible for mobile service and that recalibration was included in the price. I literally wasted over 25 minutes of my time with Safelite and their bait-and-switch pricing tactics. Very disappointing. I would not recommend them based on my experience. If you do decide to use them, make sure you're actually paying the price they quoted -- otherwise, you might be in for a surprise after the install. Oh, and one last thing -- when I tried to cancel my appointment online, Safelite offered me a $100 discount to keep it. So they raised the price, then tried to give me $100 off to stop me from canceling? What kind of nonsense is that? So shady. Although their customer service was excellent, there are plenty of other places around the Valley with much more reasonable pricing. I suggest doing your due diligence and calling around for quotes before scheduling. Know your options folks!

I also have multiple lights on my dashboard. I was told they'd come out under warranty to calibrate my windshield, and I've so far been no called no showed after being told they were meeting me from 9am-1pm. Every call I place goes to a voicemail of someone that does not return my call. Look, I get that you need to prioritize new business, and I would have sent everyone I knew to this company, if I was treated correctly. Customer service reps simply tell me they're going to have someone reach out, and then it never happens. Or they tell me there's nothing they could have done to cause those issues. If you want to gamble, go ahead. I'm sure this fix will cost more than what I saved on the windshield.

I pulled over and immediately began looking for estimates to repair it. The estimates were CRAZY. Anywhere from $100-130 and they weren't willing to see me for days. I called first class and spoke to CHRIS. He was kind, empathetic, and understood my frustration.
