I own a 2000 gmc Sierra 4x4 transmission went out due to which got stolen an recovered..I would like to to thank Steve and his team to get me back on the road in a timely manner so l drop it off at night 5/7/244 and got back 5/17/24 totally rebuilded my transmission and transfer case plus added a few improvements to aid strength to last and also keeping me updated on the process and gave me diagnosis of what happened to the transmission and transfer case and what route to go... Steve knows his transmission work!!!awsome work clean garage but Steve told me it was messy lol but from looking around look organized!!! And good price on the job vs. I was just gonna replace just the transmission at another shop for more than what Steve quoted on the job and took care and rebuilt the transfer case too..and warrantied the work..I would come back again for my transmission needs!!! read more

Rick the owner of Henderson transmission, that's one smart cookie. I am in the automotive business and deal with a lot of different automobile shops. I must say Rick has to be one of the most knowledgeable transmission guys I talk to. Fix a couple problems with the 700R4; Rick got it right in and out to me the very next day for a very great price, and fixed a couple other items at no charge. So take it from a car guy. Steve and the team at Henderson Transmission are second to none! I picked up an old squarebody GMC pickup to restore and hit some shows in other states. Long story short, had a u-joint let go and take out the driveshaft, pinion yoke, and tail-shaft of my 700R4. Brought what was left of my transmission to Steve, explained what happened and what I was looking for in a rebuild. A couple of days later, I was headed back over to pickup my rebuilt transmission. Steve set my build up with a heavier duty 4wd case, factory high stall torque converter, custom shift kit, and heavy duty inspection cover. Steve was a wealth of information on the initial install and line pressure adjustments as this was a bench build and I was installing it myself. Once I had installed the unit, I immediately drove the truck over to Steve to have him double check my install and to make sure I'd set the line pressure correctly. After a quick couple of adjustments my the master... I was back down the road eager to get on with my build. Bottom line, Steve and his team at Henderson Transmission are top notch full stop. No sizzle sold here. These lads deliver a result and that is a huge smile each and every time I hit the go pedal!!! read more

I've been taking my vehicles to Henderson Transmission for years. I have a Ford 7.3L diesel truck which unfortunately had the transmission give out around 85k miles. They ended up rebuilding it for me and it's still running strong at 240k miles (plan on keeping it awhile!). I'm pretty happy the transmission has already lasted twice as long as the factory transmission. I've had them do fluid changes as well as recently had them upgrade the transmission cooler as the stock 7.3L cooler is a little small if you're towing much of a trailer. Always have had a good experience and don't feel like they're trying to sell me services I don't need. read more

called Steve on Sunday he said bring it down will take a look at it. said it looks like the transmission shot its going to be about 2800. to fix it. called me back about hour later said its ready 100. will fix it. told him to do a service on it and change shifter lever. less than 500. fixed it all they are awesome, dependable, and honest. recommend them too anyone that needs work done. thanks again Steve. read more

While on vacation in Las Vegas, my transmission completely went out on me. The dealership quoted me an outrageous amount to fix it. Luckily, I found Henderson Transmission and they quoted me a very reasonable amount. Steve was amazing to work with. I visited Henderson transmission on two occasions. Once for my Saturn Vue and another for Plymouth Acclaim. Steve Harris was the tech that worked on my Transmissions. He made my tragedy into a pleasant experience. He explained everything very well and you can tell he was knowledgeable in his field, in the end I sent him two more clients.
