When I called to make the appointment, I clearly explained the issues I was having with my vehicle. The woman I spoke with told me the diagnostic fee would be $49.99. Based on that information, I scheduled the appointment and drove across town to bring my vehicle in. When I arrived, the same woman then told me the diagnostic would actually cost over $200 because what I described was considered "two separate issues." I was extremely frustrated because I had already explained those exact issues to her over the phone. What bothered me even more was that once I questioned the price, she suddenly wanted to give me a full disclosure and explanation of how their diagnostic pricing works. That information should have been disclosed to me when I made the appointment, not after I drove across town and showed up expecting the $49.99 diagnostic fee I had been quoted. None of this was mentioned during our original phone conversation. I decided not to have the diagnostic done because Hyundai charges around $200, and for that price I would rather take my vehicle directly to the dealership. My issue isn't that a diagnostic can cost more depending on the problem. My issue is how the pricing was communicated to me. If I had been given the full disclosure over the phone and told that my particular concerns could result in multiple diagnostic charges totaling over $200, I could have made an informed decision before making the trip. Unfortunately, I feel I was misled when I scheduled the appointment. Being upfront with customers about pricing from the beginning would have prevented this entire situation and saved me a wasted trip across town.

My girlfriend came to this shop with a fuel level sensor issue (the little floaty thingy in the gas tank that tells your car how much fuel you have), code p0463, which is a fairly inexpensive fix. They quoted her $650 for a new fuel pump, $50 for a fuel pump seal, and $175 in labor. Came out to $1000-$1100 after taxes and the diagnostic fee. Not only were they trying to give her the most expensive fix possible, they were egregiously ripping her off for a fuel pump (as cheap as $200 third party). . To top things off, all it took to fix it in the driveway was buying a replacement fuel sending unit ($80) and watching a youtube video to replace it. If they were honest and just fixed that, I wouldn't have to be writing this review. . Even if we decided to replace the entire fuel pump, after doing a bunch of research online, the cost of replacing a fuel pump for this model of car should never be the close to $1100 she was quoted. . Now with all the great reviews this place has, I'm sure we just got unlucky with a bad apple of a technician. But please, please be careful as they seemingly tried to take advantage of my girlfriend who doesnt know anything about cars. GET A SECOND OPINION!

Once I took my Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel to Brice, he explained the costs I should have paid and offered me great savings on future issues with my 2008 truck. He explained the Diesel engine issue that could destroy my engine from one loose bolt and I verified this Diesel engine destroyer. Brice fixed this at a reasonable price and while fixing that replaced a failing starter. Brice's customer service is outstanding. I knew it was expensive for a battery but my car was already at their shop and they found the issue. I okay''d the repair. I then was advised that my tires also needed replacing and were unevenly worn-out on the inside of the threads and that they also recommend changing my tires. I rejected the quote to replace my tires because all four of them were recently replaced within the last year....I immediately became skeptical about their diagnosis but figured I'll just keep the battery replacement but won't be bringing my vehicle back to their shop. Anyway, fast forward to August 2025. I take my vehicle to another shop for an oil change and also had a vehicle inspection completed. This new shop advises that my battery needs to be replaced and that I was sold a "refurbished' battery with no warranty and that this is pretty common in the area. Skeptical, I called AAA to test the battery and it was confirmed the battery was bad. I found my Grease Monkey invoice and it said NO Warranty on it. My fault for not going over every line of my invoice at the end of my service with Grease Monkey last year but that's what I get for trusting them...Never Again!!
