I paid out of my pocket on top of it. I invested with Carshield warranty for Year's! I couldn't have done it without them You collected $800.00 core deposit fee on my old motor that Carshield and myself invested into being fixed.So I don't see where it was free. You pu.t a engine in from your wife's choice auto zone and it was a failure and you replaced it not once but twice ! I was told it was coming from somewhere else. I wouldn't have allowed a AutoZone motor. But your wife was employed with them once..I called and told Rosie your wife that the engine light is still on. She told me on a couple of calls she would see when you're available to look at it. I didn't ever receive those calls..I called and left messages. You both took me for a ride and you had the truck for what seem to be a year or longer..the engine light still comes on to this day. I pray you do better work on transmissions than you do Motors..It's good to hear you speak up? Everything went through your wife only. Once I took my Dodge Ram 2500 Diesel to Brice, he explained the costs I should have paid and offered me great savings on future issues with my 2008 truck. He explained the Diesel engine issue that could destroy my engine from one loose bolt and I verified this Diesel engine destroyer. Brice fixed this at a reasonable price and while fixing that replaced a failing starter. Brice's customer service is outstanding. Being terribly worried about the transmission I waited for a tow truck at the valley wells rest area. I called Noes and they said bring it by in the morning. The next day i took my car to Noe's him and Felipe looked at my car and helped me right away. Felipe checked my codes. He was trouble shooting all issues based on my scenario. He got my car up on the lift and explained what the other shop (in LA) did wrong and what he could do to correct it. First guy I went to told me there was no way to know what that diagnostic code meant, and the best thing to do would be to just drive it until it dies. Then he can fix whatever it was. Insane. The second place, Ted Wiens Firestone on Boulder, did 5 different sets of diagnostics, replaced a couple things, never knew what the cause of the code was, and by the time I'd drive my car to the end of the block, the check engine light would come back on EVERY TIME. I thought I was going to have to buy a new car this week, which I REALLY, REALLY didn't want to do. My car has progressively been running worse and worse, and by last week was actually dangerous to drive. Last Monday I called Aamco. They picked up my car from work. They tested things, replaced a couple things, tested more, called specialists, tried things, talked to me about what I'd replaced in the past year, did test drives to see what result their changes made, etc. This went on every day. They were absolutely determined to solve the mystery of my poorly-running car. This morning they called me and told me they'd done it! They picked me up at home and took me to the office, and seriously my car is GOOD AS NEW. I don't know what's up with that 1 star review by Patrick C., but Aamco seriously saved me.
