Do not bring your vehicle here unless you want to keep returning your car over and over. The professionalism of this place is terrible. My sister and I share a vehicle and we brought it here for a minor repair. This minor repair turned into two weeks of back and forth back and forth because they couldn't do the job correctly. When we dropped off the car the final time, it had half a tank of gas. When we picked it up, it was empty. How awesome. We are writing a letter to the BBB and I hope this place shuts down. Kenny's energy on the phone hooked me right off the bat, then my make and model car wasn't in their system because it's classified as "exotic", but Kenny was able to go online and cross match the transmission in my car with one they did have in their system and long story short, quoted me a very reasonable price. I have a 2013 Mustang that had a tranny issue. I brought it to Kenny with my own parts and oil. He gave me a fair quote. Long story short my aftermarket part FAILED and I was forced to order a quick replacement from FORD. Everything fixed right and quickly. Beware Honda Owners. I had my Honda Odyssey transmission rebuilt here a couple years a go. I thought they did a very good job at that time. I do not drive it much but decided to take a 5000 mile road trip last summer. Outside of Albuquerque Nm. my transmission blew most of the fluid out and stranded me on the free way. After I had it towed into a small town a mechanic checked it out and refilled it. I did some research and found that that is usually caused by over filling it with fluid. I brought it back to Ken to have it serviced again since it had burnt the fluid. They charged be over $300 for a drain and fill. I checked it and called them back to tell them they over filled it. They did not know Hondas level needs to be checked with the engine off. My manual stated that and I called Honda and they also stated that. I wanted them to just drain some fluid out so it was the proper level. Ken did not believe me and told me to go to Honda and maybe they would do it. I ended up having to go to the Honda dealer. They checked it and it was about 1.5 to 2 quarts overfilled. They had to do a drain and fill to set it to the proper level. They only charged me $149. If you own a Honda go to the dealer. read more

Our vehicle was dropped off Tuesday, given the ok to do the work and then we waited. Friday we received a call at 4:06pm, asking if anyone called to say our vehicle was ready for pick up. The answer to that was NO. Unknowing the business hours, unaware that the shop closed at 4:30pm, and only being given 24 minutes to pick up our vehicle is a bad way to do business. We were not close to the shop, needed to work out a ride to get the vehicle, and we arrive at 4:45pm, only to find no one but the cleaners around. Now it's the weekend, our vehicle is finished and ready, and due to poor customer service and having less than 30 minutes to get our vehicle, our vehicle is being held hostage at their shop!! Terrible customer service!!! Hopefully their work on our vehicle holds up better than their customer service!! read more

I know my review is long overdue but I want to make sure I share my personal experience. First off, having to get your car repaired sucks. Especially a big component like the transmission. I was feeling beyond stressed, sad and disappointed about my vehicle breaking down. I called several places for estimates and it was painful. I finally came across Kenny and even though I wished I didn't have to spend so much, they were by far the most reasonable. Kenny's prices were not only reasonable but he did the work in a few days, vs a few weeks that I was quoted by several other places. Kenny was easy to talk to, and kind. I needed the "transmissions for dummies" explanation and he did that in a way that I didn't feel like one. I appreciated that about him. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would not hesitate to go back....but I prefer to not have to Thanks Kenny for doing a wonderful job with the repairs. Sorry...i can't recommend them. I was looking for a second opinion for two leaks I had. One an oil leak and the other transmission leak for my Jeep. Other quote $1000. Mind you no problems other than leaks. They matched quote and fixed both problems with an added $200 plus...I thought! Two weeks later both leaks reappeared and have gotten bigger through time. Now it's another $600 Bill at a different shop for transmission repairs. I didn't bother to take it back two weeks later when both leaks started again after Kenny stated if it leaks again then it's probably an inter transmission problem and a different problem for engine oil leak. Sure they would have gladly taken another thousand plus to not fix it again. Never again...i don't have $$ to throw around and make your salary a week. Well let me start out by saying that I had AAMCO pick up my Sport Trac from Ford Country because I refused to spend $5K+ on a transmission replacement from the Ford Service. After long talk with the owner on the phone I got the answers I was looking for and agreed to have them pick up my vehicle and go through the diagnosis. From start to finish I was pleasantly surprised at the communications from everyone. So far my Sport Trac runs like it did when I bought it. I have nothing bad to say or any negative problems during this procedure. If not for the price of this repair it would have easily been 5 Stars... Get a second opinion. Final bill: 5,014.19 for a transmission rebuild on a 2014 Sienna. They weren't honest in the billing- arranging parts to be lower so my sales tax was lower, then upping the labor to cover. Also added a $65 brace because, "why not." Why not! Because maybe my $65 comes harder than their $65. So, I straight up don't know what honestly happened to my car and if I needed a full rebuild or not. read more

I called Aamco transitions about an issue I have, They were very professional, and caring. I explained to Jan the problem I had and she said she would have an apt at MY earliest convince, so I set up an apt with them and hung up the phone. Two minutes later I got a call back from Jan at Aamco, she said that my vehicle may still be under warranty from the original ford manufacture, she said if I get her the VIN number that she would call and do the leg work for me at the ford dealer to see if it was still under warranty. Turns out it was still under warranty with Ford. Not only were the people at Aamco Transitions extremely professional and caring, they went above and beyond, saving me time and money, literally.
