Every time I come into the office, they try to get me to pay a copay. With my insurance, I do not have copays, but the ladies in the office do not understand medical billing... their billing is handled by a third party. I have coinsurance, which is a percentage of what my insurance agrees to pay after they send them the bill. The copay is different each time -- they literally make up a "copay" just to collect something at the time of service. The amount they require I pay ends up being FAR above what I end up owing after insurance pays. They charged me a total of $220 for three visits -- after I received the EOB, I only owed around $77 total for those three visits and they had to give me a refund. They still insist that I pay their made up copay before I see a doctor even though they are aware that they're overcharging. Unprofessional and rude every single time. I urge everyone to fine another office! read more

This place is horrible. The doctors are OK but the staff is a bunch of girls who are more concerned about feeling superior then doing a quality days worth of work. If u want a doctors note it'll cost you FMLA papers it'll cost you any menial thing it'll cost you.Need them to give you your medical info be prepared for a runaround with those girls who obviously don't know their jobs. I am very pleased with this office. It is sad to see all these negative reviews considering the fact of every time I go in, they aren't very far behind in their appointment times and they are all very nice. This is my first pregnancy and I have been very pleased with the office. They make things simple and fast for me, especially the uncomfortable parts. Everyone that goes there seems happy with their experiences as well, from who I have talked to in the waiting room. I didn't start getting care until my 7th month of pregnancy due to insurance problems. Dr. Plotniskiy is very understanding about this and has not made me feel bad about the lack of care once, as for sunrise L&D who made me feel terrible about it. Dr. P has also made it a point to make sure that I get caught up on everything and that the baby is growing fine aside from a lack of prenatal care. read more

To Dr Toledo & all Patients : on 01/08/2016 i met a bad service treatment from office staff ( Crystal ). it was the worst day of my life. Here what happened : i ( Mark P ) took my wife & 1 year old Son coming in for yearly check up with Dr Toledo . We paid cash copay everytime we was here . Then we seated waiting for 1 hour and see other patients all coming to see their docter even they came after . I came to ask the receptionist the reason why we waited too long. She ( Crystal ) told me that i owed $50 .00 (fifty) dollars from last year . I told her i did paid all my copay to office evereytime before i was here and the office lady ( Holly ) told us last year that everything was fine and taking care by UMR insurance. Holly did promised she taking care . But today the receptionist ( Crystal ) treated us with no respects and had no courtesy to let us know why she skipped our turn .We asked her again to talked to Dr Toledo or Holly but Crystal said they both very busy and made us wait and wait ......I was really upset and walked away from this office. Bought a groupon for an ultrasound, staff was very unorganized and I wasn't seeing until 1 hour later. The first thing I was told was that my baby was gonna look like an alien since I'm only 21 weeks. Not the nicest thing to say to someone who's excited to see their baby. I have been coming here for years. However, after the experience i had today, I will be taking my business else where. I have battled with high blood pressure for a few years. Last year I wasn't told anything about how my birth control and blood pressure were associated. Today, I went in for my yearly.... started off fine. The MA ( i dont know her name) she took my blood pressure and said it was high, i advised I knew, it usually is and anxiety over going to the doc doesn't help! she took it again, and proceeded to tell me they wouldn't be able to prescribe me birth control due to my HBP. I told her my pressure was high last time, nothing was told to me about not being able to receive a prescription for birth control. She then argued with me on the fact that I wasn't give a script for birth control last year. I told her i would show her with my pharmacy app.... she made a rude comment and said " you go ahead and do that" and walked out of the room. The doctor came in, advised anything 140/90 and over they would not be able to prescribe birth control. The doctor himself was amazing, however his MA- NOT! if she would have told me that rule my reaction would have been different. I left without my yearly, advised the doc his staff needed an attitude adjustment and that I would be taking my business elsewhere. Now that I am doing more research, I see there are numerous options for patients with HBP and birth control, yet NONE of these were discussed or even brought up. Good luck staying in business with that outlook, thats why you have 2 stars on yelp. I should have let that be my original red flag. Only office I know that will $60 you to death. Had a pap done in April 2019 and there was NO mention of my 2 HUGE fibroid tumors (15cm on right and 12cm on left) plus my uterus is the size of a bowling ball when it should be the size of an apricot. How in the heck was this missed? Thank God I listened to my body and went to another doctor. I was in HORID pain. The nurse who took my vitals was crazy rude to me when I mentioned needing pain meds and left with NONE. I called to speak to the office manager Holly the next day. The staff (more like gate keepers) tried telling me she didn't take calls or speak to patients in person. I called their bluff when I asked for her email address. After the runaround I was able to get her on the phone. I explained my experience and her response was "well what am I supposed to do when all the ladies have different personalities?" My response was "GET A NEW ONE." Worst experience with a doctors office EVER. Doc Plotnitsky was my OBGYN. When he did the finger exam after the speculum, he didn't even push on my stomach to feel my uterus. WTH was he feeling for then? This place needs to be out of business. read more

Super great staff, great doctors. They listen to your every need, concern and answers any questions you may have...both receptionist are very nice and Evelyn the ultrasound technician is very sweet. She took the time to make sure I got the best ultrasound pictures even though my unborn child was acting so stubborn lol. Charged me three co-pays when the "patient out-of-pocket" had been maximized, refused to refund, and DID NOT REPORT TO MY INSURANCE THEY CHARGED ME CO-PAYS. Aloha, All the negative reviews written prior to mine are extremely accurate! The office staff is incompetent and rude to say the least. I have bills adding up to thousands that can easily be taken care of , but HOLLY the office manager is a bitch (can I write that?) Anyway, she has not called me or my insurance company back. I finally, after months, received a call from her only after threatening to call the Dept. of Labor and Better Business Bureau. She gave me incorrect information then wouldn't answer my calls later in the day. I am going to attempt once again to get my bills taken care of by this office via phone, mail Dr. Toledo a certified letter regarding what information is needed by my insurance company, then call the Better Business Bureau, and Dept. of Labor. I've never once felt the need to write a bad review until now. This place is the absolute worst gynecologist i've ever been to. First the wait is terrible, i've waited over 45 minutes in the patient room alone, not including the wait time of the actual waiting room. Dr. Plotnitsky is also not informative at all. I'm 19 years old & still a bit nervous about everything & he never once explained anything he was doing during exams & made me feel completely awful afterwards. My biggest complaint is that the women at the front desk are completely incompetent. Selena was very nice, and usually tried to get help when she didn't understand what I was asking for, but other than that the other ladies are extremely rude as well. I've had to call usually 5 or more times for each question or issue. I also moved recently, but had some test results come back, & called to find out if the tumor in my breast is cancerous. I was told multiple times that I needed to come in, even though that was physically impossible & when i insisted to get my results a different way & asked to speak to Kim (who's probably the only person there who knows what they're doing), the lady on the phone very rudely told me that they couldn't give me my results unless i came in & that she didn't know why kim would help me bc she'd be fired. This is completely untrue & beyond unprofessional. Kim was also able to help me get my results, so take note if you have any questions don't even bother talking to the ladies at the front desk, just immediately ask for Kim. Since I've moved I've gotten a new gynecologist & went in last friday 9/13 to fill out a request for my records to be sent over. This request was immediately faxed over & I called Henderson Wellness as soon as I got in my car to inform them. I called two more times that day to also remind them. I called yesterday 9/18 to make sure that they sent over my records before my appointment today so my new gynecologist & I could take steps for the tumor in my breast. The lady at the front desk told me that she'd inform them to fax over my records & that they'd be in soon. Then today 9/19 at 12:30 I called to double check they had sent over my records, & again no luck. At this point I was told that the Manager was no longer in & they were the ones to fax records. I told them this was not acceptable as they have had a week and multiple reminders to fax my records & it's extremely ridiculous that they did not do so already. I gave them the phone number of the new gynecologist so they could sort out the mess they've made & still I went in for my appointment today at 2:20 & no records were received. If i could've given 0 stars I would have. This place has made me feel terrible every time I've had to deal with them & it's beyond upsetting. I've come home crying multiple times from frustration with the front desk ladies & from feeling disgusting after exams because the doctor doesn't explain or talk you through anything. If you're thinking about coming to Henderson Wellness, this is your sign. Do not go there. It's completely ridiculous, unprofessional, & just downright rude service besides Selena & Kim & now I'm stuck still dealing with them because they won't send my records. Today i arrived waited 45 min for the front desk girl to call me up and tell me that the doctor wasn't even in the office. Asked if i wanted to continue to wait another 20-45 min for him to get to the office.Why wasn't I told the moment I walked in that he wasn't there. If you value your time do not become a patient here. The staff could care less about anyone but themselves and its very apparent from the moment you walk in. I don't have health insurance and they make getting gynecologic care a great experience for me, and they charge reasonable rates with a very flexible schedule. Terrible Experience! My husband and I bought a Groupon for 4D Ultrasound for this office. They usually run about 100.00, so we were excited to have gotten such a deal at 35.00. We were called in from the lobby almost an hour late, which I understand some times offices can get behind. The US tech rushed us through our appointment. She had no bedside manner and was very brash in her tone. She was jabbing the US probe into my belly very hard and did not once attempt to find another angle. She spoke negatively the entire time and blamed the babies behavior for her not being able to get a decent picture. As I was about to complain how she was so rough with the US probe, the appointment was over. It lasted about 7 minutes. We left with a CD, Two printed pictures, and a sheet of photos printed from the US machine. We got one decent picture. The rest are very blurry. My husband and I were very disappointed and frustrated. What should have been a nice time for our family was instead a joke. I went to the front desk and asked to speak to a manager and the lady said she would call someone, but no one came. My husband was so angry that he just wanted to leave. On our way out, we noticed another disappointed couple outside. These were the people had that gone in ahead of us. This was a really bad experience that I will be sure to share with as many people as people. read more

Horrible office staff including the Office Manager that goes by Holly, I started late prenatal care with Dr. Toledo and had some financial struggles to pay up front for my visits but I have been able to pay up front every visit. Sad to say I will not be looking forward to see Dr. Toledo again if I ever expect another child. Billing coordinator is never available, and claims are incorrectly processed to insurances. I've paid over $1800 at their office and my deductible is $2500 they have only processed claims for $1300 so where is the difference I paid going?! I spoke to the medical assistant and requested to have the billing coordinator to give me a call back when she can because I can never get a hold of her, I work weekdays and they are close on the weekends. They were asking me to pay up $600 next visit, I still have questions as to how they are billing me plus I might not be able to pay that amount up front so I was hoping we can arrange something afterwards. Maybe 5 minutes later I get a ball back from the Office Manager ''Holly' without any type of introduction she comes on the line saying that I have to cough up the money whether its through a credit card, borrowing money from a friend or family member, threatening me that she has the discharge papers for Dr. Toledo and he will basically not render any services for my C-section. She also goes on about I'm a medical assistant and should know of this stuff making it more personal, she did not handle the call in a professional manner and resulted in me raising my tone towards her and then her hanging up. To be honest I might have tried to work something out later on to pay up but how Holly approached me in that manner, it left me furious and stressed out. Let me start out by saying that I LOVE Dr. Toledo. He is always kind, attentive and answers any questions I may have. He has a wonderful bedside manner and I have been a patient for years. That being said, his staff is horrendous!!! Whether for a simple referral to a surgeon, or billing, they just cant seem to get it right. After my hysterectomy and paying EVERYTHING I was asked to pay in full and being told by office staff that I owed nothing, I started receiving collection calls. These calls were and about an apparently unpaid bill from his office that I had not been billed for. After calling the office SEVERAL times and getting different responses, (including that I didn't owe the money and they would contact the collection company), Holly told me that the charge was from 2 Years earlier and that I owed the money and they would not call collections. Holly was rude and disrespectful on the phone and treated me like an idiot. I finally ended up paying the collections company the money to get it taken care of. SO disorganized!!! I am sadly, no longer going to this office ONLY because of the staff's incompetence. Dr. Toledo PLEASE hire a new staff!!! read more

Dr. Toledo was my physician for opioid dependency. I saw him for 5 months. At my initial appointment I explained in depth that I was a victim of Domestic Violence and also a childhood sexual abuse survivor. Dr .Toledo came into every single appointment and the very first thing he brings up to me is... "Have you heard about the Michigan USA Gymnastics Doctor".. I told him I don't read the news.. he goes into detail about this Pedophile Doctor.. I was very uncomfortable and didn't know how to respond. Every single appointment he brought this doctor up!! I think he was getting some kind of sick satisfaction out of talking about this doctor. Not only is it unethical but it's just GROSS that my doctor put me in this position!! Beware of this doctor and his underlying motives!!! On a side note his office manager is a bully and threatens patients!! It's just a bad practice all the way around. I am very disappointed I went for my ultrasound the screen was too small the video and picture quality was terrible the room was small. I am saying this because I went somewhere else and it uncompareable. At this other place the screen was huge the pictures were so clear and the room was huge with like 15 chairs, I thought the Henderson wellness was better but ooh!! Surprise!! You can even hear your baby's heartbeat, don't do your ultrasound here there's a lot better places don't waste your time and money! read more

This place is terrible!! I'm 33 weeks pregnant and have been going here since I was 8 weeks pregnant. Almost everytime I go for my appoitment there I'm in the waiting room for at least an hour! And there are always 30 people in the waiting room so there's no where to sit. The staff in the front are rude and not helpful. I've only seen Dr. Toldedo twice and he is RUDE. Dr. Plottinsky is okay, but this is towards the end of my pregnancy and no birth plan yet, doesnt know or even asked what hospital I want to deliver at. I asked him that don't I have to start coming in every week after 36 weeks to see how dialated I am. He said no??? He doesn't seem to be doing what traditional obgyn's do. Today I walked in, and again(there's about 15 seats in there) NO WHERE TO SIT!!! And I know-as usual- I'd be waiting there at least an hour. I'm pregnant my feet hurt, im not about to stand there for an hour. So today I left and am not coming back!!!
