In addition to that, the CVS app won't let you order a prescription in advance, to be filled the day it is due. So, for instance, if you take a drug that requires physician approval for each refill and the due date is on a Saturday, you have to wait until Monday to submit the refill. Then, depending on how busy your doctor's office is, the scrip might not get refilled until Tuesday. So, if it's a drug you need to take every day and only have enough to get from one refill date to the next, you have to go for several days without the medication. How stupid. So, I went back to Walgreens (I only switched to CVS because our Walgreens in Old Lyme closed), even though the one in Essex is farther away. Friendly staff and I can order in advance using their website or app.

Walk into the convenient store and ask the cashier to turn on the air. Unlike some other gas stations, air really work here. They have blue rhino propane. Also they have fire wood. There is an ATM inside. They have restrooms too. Coffee is nice here. Pizza here is ok, but the price is unbeatable. I had a super slice of bacon sausage and pepperoni. It was good. There is a good selection of sandwiches and parfaits. I like their bakery section. I had carrot cake fritter recently, and I liked it. I love the milkshake/smoothie section. Basically you can take a frozen cup of milkshake or smoothie and keep in a machine which will give you a choice of making extra thick, normal or thin drink. I took peanut butter cup shake and made it normal. I would say the best thing I had was the tornodos. Cheesy pepperjack beef tornado was very cheesy.
